Most embassy suites the pool is open until 11pm. With this hotel being close to the central time border, it would be nice if this one would be too. This hotel not really family/kid friendly but loved being at Notre Dame

We had a great stay. Facilities was clean. Towels were rough. Bed was lumpy. Pillows were okay. Great complimentary breakfast. Overall we would stay again. Beautiful, safe area. Be aware when you park, you park in the garage but have to walk back up to hotel entrance to get into hotel. We were not told that so we were a bit confused.

The property is wonderful and in a perfect location. However, we were very disappointed to discover the pool was closed due to repairs. Nothing was stated on the website or mentioned during checkin. We realize that it might be out of their control, but communicating this to us would have been helpful. We thankfully discovered the closed pool ourselves before changing into our suits, unlike another family we saw walking toward the pool in their suits.

It was a shock to pay $14 to park in Embassy Suites parking garage. It was billed on my card but I was not told there was a parking charge. Paying $300 for 1 night and that did not include parking.

Love the breakfast and the evening reception with drinks and snacks (free). Pool not large but relaxing. Walk to Notre Dame campus, also a block or two away from shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to stadium but this was an away game weekend, so not crowded at all.

So much of the property was not available. I understand being short staffed but what good are amenities at the property if they are not available to paying guests? I rented 3 rooms. No access to rooftop it was locked. Would have been great to take photos staff would not open. No restaurant was open on site. Multiple fire pits all unplugged and non operational. Very frustrating.

This property is in perfect proximity of Notre Dame. Staff is friendly and super helpful. A couple of housekeeping issues (hair in the shower, soap/shampoo residue on shower tiles, a yellow, plastic bag left in the shower, and a visible, thick layer of dust on carpet under the nightstand) were disappointing.

Over all but the room cleaning was poor. looked under bed lots of dust, dont think it was vaccumed during our stay. One day the room was nor cleaned at all even though we asked. Desk not wiped sode stain on there for days.

We stayed for 4 nights - Monday through Thursday. In Tuesday we returned with our room in the same state as we left it on the morning. Thursday was the same. It seemed they were fully booked and short on staff.

We decided to spend a little more for a nicer hotel at the holidays and were very disappointed here. The bathroom was not clean, there was just enough toilet paper on the roll for two uses and the was no extra in the room. The gave us an adjoining room with complete strangers who had a dog that barked when it heard us move around in our room. Horrible holiday experience

We had an experience at the beginning of our stay that required the Manager, Jeff Simpson’s attention. I am happy to say, he handled the situation with expertise and professionalism. As a result, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. It was clean and very comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful staff. The front desk people recognize us the second day by name. Amy was especially helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, and we especially appreciate being recognized and offered our favorite item as the cook seems to have learned everybody’s taste. That means they are really paying attention to their guests.

Everything was great! The breakfast is probably the best continental breakfast I have ever had. The omelettes are made on the spot. There’s no better spot if your going to the University. Small detail is that there is no Hair Dryer in the room, nothing big just come prepared.

Great hotel, and the free breakfast is the best around - amazing!! We stayed during Welcome Weekend for Notre Dame first-year students, and they had complimentary snacks in the lobby all weekend. Happy hour offers light appetizers and 2 free drinks. Wonderful perks on top of an unbeatable location!

What a great hotel we have stayed many times and I just do not get why the breakfast is not good. The staff working is fantastic. THE FOOD IS GROSS. Eggs, simple eggs why do they taste like that. Bacon raw. Hot oatmeal can have flavor. Go simply if you cant do these things. Come on someone must realize this. Everything is clean and great but how do you mess up simple breakfast and a good cup of coffee.
