Beautiful hotel lobby and restaurant area. Modern, industrial vibe. Spacious room overlooking Wrigley Field. Good workout facility. We were on the third floor and could hear the bar music below us until midnight on a Saturday night. That was the only drawback of our stay. A room on a higher floor probably would have helped the sound issue.

The place was beautiful! The room was very cozy, and the common space was awesome, with the fireplace and the pool table! We went to a Cubs vs Phillies game, so the hotel was extremely Convenient to Wrigley field.

I’ve stayed here before but this time they weren’t as accommodating. I also do not understand why they close the bar deck outside at 10:00 when we only have so many beautiful evenings to enjoy the outside. We came back to the hotel to enjoy a cocktail and the weather and they wouldn’t let us sit outside. That deck was the main reason we chose to stay there.

I loved the location and the amenities. We were in town for the frozen confines so the Zachary couldn't be beat. The parking was easy with the valet, and I liked the restaurant area in the hotel.

Love the Zachary, but was extremely disappointed that the bar balcony was closed when we got there after the Cub night game. A big part of the rationale for paying such a premium for staying there is the ability to sit on the deck and take in the sights and sounds of Wrigleyville before AND after a game. Definitely not worth the extra cost for this trip…

Very expensive to South Park always valet because they don’t tell you that self parking in their building is $60 for 24 hours. That’s my only complaint about staying here.

Had a good stay - service was overall really good ... the only exception was the restaurant/bar....service was slow and not as pleasing as the rest of the team. Also I personally think that 75$ Valet is just ridiculous....but it seems the whole downtown hotels are heading that way....

Bathroom floor was a bit dirty, but otherwise very clean room and beautifully furnished. Hair conditioner in shower was not fulled and so I had to go without. Wonderful view of Wrigley Field! Wish the rooms just came with a fridge and microwave rather than having to ask for them. Housekeeping staff was very quick to bring us anything we asked for. Patio bar was nice.

I am overly picky about cleanliness and odors. This hotel was perfect- not a trace of past people and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, nespresso machine in the room- delicious- extremely friendly and accommodating personnel. Kind of ruined every other hotel for me. Why can’t they all be Hotel Zachary?

Staff is awesome and can't beat the location. However, I have to wonder if the onsite garage parking is always full in order to feed valet service? Either way, it was only $10 more and very convenient. Room was nice, but the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned - I had to wipe down the toilet seat and noticed some stuff on the tile floor. All of that said, we had a wonderful time and would stay again!

Room door would not open with keycard provided. Had to wait for maintenance to change battery in lock. For the price paid, room was minimally equipped; no microwave, no refrigerator. Were not allowed into the bar after the Cubs game. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great view of Wrigley Field.

It is really a nice hotel. The problem is Noise! It is a very noisy area and the slamming of doors! The walls are thin! The price for rooms are not justified.

The room was very nice, clean and sleek & daily water complimentary was a bonus especially in the heat of this summer. The cons about this hotel are that they don’t have a small fridge or coffeemaker like most hotels those sizes or price ranges would have.

We seen a concert at Wrigley and it was so great to be able to just walk across the street. Great view of the outside of Wrigley Field. I did not like thay there was no fridge,microwave or coffee pot in the room. When paying that amount of money you shouldn't be expected to buy coffee from their expensive coffee shop downstairs and more food from restaurants because you can't store and heat up your expensive leftovers.

The valet parking upon arrival was a big issue. Both times dealing with them they were rude, which wasn’t necessary. Hotel staff were very nice. Hopefully hotel fixes this issue moving forward.

My friend and I had an amazing time at the Hotel Zachary. They were incredibly accommodating and saw to our every need. We had our small dog with us and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved being across from Wrigley Field!

Our stay was amazing they helped us get our car parked as we arrived really early for the game and they didn’t mind. They even held our bags in a safe place while we was at the game so we didn’t have to go out and get them later. Then they had the room ready early. The most I liked about it would be we didn’t realize my special needs son left his tablet and they was nice enough to mail it to us

It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We have stayed there 4 times. I only gave it four stars because the vibe has been negative every time we checked in. It’s not the friendliest establishment. We plan to find a new spot for our regular trips to Chicago.

Our check-in was one of THE best I've had in years! I feel terrible I am unsure of the front desk woman's name. I think it was Ashley? She deserves recognition! She was professional, accomodating, detail-oriented and extremely thoughtful! Not only did she make checking-in a breeze, she made myself and my family feel special. Doormen, concierge were lovely! Friendly and attentive hostess and serving staff at Alma.

I was so impressed, When booking online, I had mentioned we were staying for a birthday. They asked if there were any requests, I asked if they could do something for my friends birthday. They asked what did they drink? I said Bourbon… this was all via text. The next thing I know I hear a knock on the door just after we checked in and they sent a bottle of special bourbon made in the city! Above and beyond!!! So amazing, made our trip. I figured they would send up a birthday drink, not the entire bottle. Very thoughtful & Special!

Checked in on my birthday as I prepared to visit Wrigley Field for the first time. As a lifelong baseball fanatic since the early 70s this trip has always been a bucket list item. Thomas at the front desk made sure to offer early check in and even had champagne sent to the room. From start to finish the staff were helpful, considerate and accommodating.

I pay a lot of money every year to stay here for a few days to attend a concert—usually the first weekend in December. Me & 3-4 other family members stay at the hotel. This is the Christmas w/ Santa weekend & no breakfast for hotel guests is available. The majority of the people going to that breakfast appear to NOT be staying @‘the hotel. I think it is very inconsiderate & frankly a rip-off for the hotel to cater to “Santa breakfast” patrons & completely ignore hotel guest’s breakfast needs. The first year we did the breakfast on Saturday & it was around $25-30. Last year it was $75 & this year I was $60. Surely you can figure out how you can offer hotel guests not wanting to do Santa Breakfast some form of breakfast or the buffet at a reduced cost if not doing Santa photos etc. We would gladly pay $25-30 for breakfast. Really inconsiderate& frankly a slap in the face for there to be absolutely nothing for your hotel guests to have breakfast on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Makes me to NOT want to stay there next year! We are very frustrated with this rude & very greedy attitude the hotel takes towards their regular hotel guests during this time of year. The hotel is wonderful! Bar and morning restaurant were beyond my expectations! All service members were helpful and friendly. I was VERY happy with my stay! Under constructive suggestions; The hotel need to do a better job with a commissary. I can't be the only customer to not remember contact solution.

Third stay at the Zachary...Wonderful hotel in a neat part of Chicago. If you get a room facing Clarke Ave., you can see into the outfield of Wrigley Field. The decor is very serious Cubs' history oriented. Great eating choices within the walls: breakfast bagels of all flavors at Steingold's, excellent simple meals at Mordecai, and the bar is very accommodating if you just want snacks with cocktails. The whiskey and bourbon lists are quite extensive. When we booked, the only room choice was a "Junior Suite," which, I admit was larger than we needed. The balcony view was superb, but it was a bother to walk so far from bed to desk to closet to bath...just sayin'. I suppose it is a distinction to have a stereo system, turntable and a few choices of vinyl in a hotel room, but it is more a novelty than something likely to be used. Still, it was a great stay, and I'd return when next in Chicago; I'd just try to book a standard room.

Hotel is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, however the room service is a joke. Ordered a charcuterie board that ended up costing over $40 that contained 4 small pieces of meat and four small pieces of cheese in a styrofoam container. I highly recommend the hotel, just don’t order room service.
