Over all the hotel was good. Room & bed ok and met standard hotel expectations. Their system was down so it made check harder, only one room key & we had to be let in to pool /fitness each time. The only ice machine that worked was on the 1st floor. The pool was swimmable but the room was very humid & had a smell to it & fitness center as warmer then the lobby with no fan. The items in the fitness center were working & nice - free weights, bike, treadmill, yoga ball & bench. Breakfast was warm and ready. The second day it seemed was delivery day so breakfast was what they had left - 3 diff kinds of sausage, no fruit, no rolls but did have yogurt, cereal and pancakes. Overall good stay & staff was nice

Very disappointed that the pool was empty 2 of the 3 days we were there so my grandson did not get to swim until the morning we left. 2 mornings out of 3 they ran out of almost all breakfast items by 8:15a. No bacon any of the days and I don’t eat sausage. Kitchen staff was frazzled and snippy.

The location is ideal for going to Indiana Dunes National Park. The hotel is clean and the cooked breakfast is good. We also did laundry here, and that worked out well for us on our road trip. The front desk staff was amazing, especially Rolanda and Naomi! They were so cheerful and bubbly and greeted us with big smiles every time we saw them! We would definitely stay here again.

Thaw staff was excellent, one of the main reasons I stayed at Tia hotel was the pool the first night was good the second day was horrible I was leaving back to Florida the next day so my son and autistic grandson was on their way when we found out by looking in the pool window all the water was drained out no notice tell that to your autistic grandson I was devastated ended up calling my son who was also disappointed and he turned around we had just gotten food for all of to eat so by the time I gathered everything up and got to my sons house it was cold!!! We should have received an email or something I would have made other plans for that night very upset about that!!!!! Won’t go back there ever again!!!!

Quite pricey for the middle of nowhere, but it was very clean and the free breakfast was good. We didn't use the indoor pool, but there were a bunch of kids enjoying it. The fitness center was also decent, though the A/C was broken in there. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a very nice hotel. Large king size bed room, clean, quiet (except for the little league staying there), excellent breakfast. The young man at the front desk was pretty defensive and had a bit of an attitude with me. He couldn't find my reservation and instead of trying to find a solution to help me he just kept spinning it back on me and how I probably made the mistake: saying maybe you have the wrong date -- maybe you got the wrong hotel -- maybe you used a different name (I was traveling alone). Come on. I stayed in over 15 hotels in the past year. He said I should reach out and call Hotels.com. I was in the middle of doing that when he found my reservation. He kind of sort of mumbled a half-assed apology. Pool was supposed to be open after repairs at 1pm the day I arrived according to a handwritten note but by 5pm the pool was not open and the sign had not been updated.

At check in I asked for ice and water to fill my bottle and was told to find the water fountain. Clerk was wearing slippers and unprofessional. The hotel looked like some of it was being redone but our bathtub was gross and the walls were dirty.

We checked in around 4 and left around 9. The room was filthy, the sinks were disgusting. Cabinets falling off, no sheets for pull out couch, stains on carpet, cardboard under pull out mattress, dirty walls.

Good area that's easy to access and close enough to groceries, fuel and restaurants. Newer building and the lobby was clean and nice. The hallways were very clean and the room was great--comfortable beds, plenty of good pillows and a clean, bright bathroom. Typical hotel breakfast, but it was good with many options and everything was clean. Definitely would recommend this to friends and family who needed to stay in the area.

It was ok but not great. When we first arrived, I wanted to empty the trash out of our car from our drive, but the trash can by the entrance was overflowing. Our room was mostly clean, but one drawer had some trash in it from a previous guest. There was no bedding in the room for the pullout couch, but we were able to get some from the front desk. At breakfast, the staff was having a very hard time keeping everything stocked. After I helped my kids get their food, I went back to make a plate and they were out of eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and cinnamon rolls. Later when my daughter went back to make a second pancake, they were out of batter. Even the water dispenser said it needed to be refilled. In the pool area, the towel shelves were empty. The staff was friendly and overall things seemed clean, but it wasn’t the greatest stay.

The beds were comfortable I will start there. Our toilet stopped working properly and we ended up having to walk to the lobby bathroom each time that had no soap or towels. The gentleman at the desk did apologize and tried to assist, not sure if anything will come out of it. The bathtub did not look like it was cleaned (hair) and half the charging outlets in our room were broken. The toiletries were super cheap large dove bottles, quite a few items for breakfast were out very early. The biggest issue was the noise. We heard everything in the hallway loud and clear and we were woken up at 6:30am by the adjoining rooms tv. Overall, we would probably try a different hotel going back in that area.

The staff at the front desk really struggled. I offered to pay 1/2 cash and 1/2 on a card and they said they don't take any cash. This was the best stay of a week long road trip. I always check reviews before I book and many said the place was clean and had a good breakfast. I saw evidence of that right away on check in! When we got there, it was late and the man at the front desk was in the lobby detail cleaning some of the furniture, he was very friendly and nice. In a side note, when I was using their free computers in the lobby for work (also a bonus), I saw him and another staffer help a lost child in the hotel and locate her parents. Breakfast was great! There was a line when breakfast opened. Delicious hot cinnamon rolls, eggs and cheese, hot potato hash, it was all great. They also had a white board in the breakfast area where other guests wrote thank yous to the staff. It was a great breakfast! My only complaints, my kids did use the pool and the pool deck was a bit dirty and a lot of hairs on the deck. Same with our room in the bathroom floor. We ended up getting an accessibility room that had a large floor shower drain, but there were a lot of hairs on the shower floor before we used it, but I get it, it’s a large area to clean. Otherwise a perfect stay.

The location is ideal for going to Indiana Dunes National Park. The hotel is clean and the cooked breakfast is good. We also did laundry here, and that worked out well for us on our road trip. The front desk staff was amazing, especially Rolanda and Naomi! They were so cheerful and bubbly and greeted us with big smiles every time we saw them! We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very pleasant but adding an additional night really threw them off. We added an extra night and ended up getting charged for 2 extra nights. It took talking to 3 people to get that straight. The breakfast was pretty good, they ran out of potatoes really early and mentioned to the worker they were out and she said that's all we have and was not very pleasant about it.

This was a very nice hotel. Large king size bed room, clean, quiet (except for the little league staying there), excellent breakfast. The young man at the front desk was pretty defensive and had a bit of an attitude with me. He couldn't find my reservation and instead of trying to find a solution to help me he just kept spinning it back on me and how I probably made the mistake: saying maybe you have the wrong date -- maybe you got the wrong hotel -- maybe you used a different name (I was traveling alone). Come on. I stayed in over 15 hotels in the past year. He said I should reach out and call Hotels.com. I was in the middle of doing that when he found my reservation. He kind of sort of mumbled a half-assed apology. Pool was supposed to be open after repairs at 1pm the day I arrived according to a handwritten note but by 5pm the pool was not open and the sign had not been updated.

The hallways were very clean and the room was great--comfortable beds, plenty of good pillows and a clean, bright bathroom. Typical hotel breakfast, but it was good with many options and everything was clean. Definitely would recommend this to friends and family who needed to stay in the area.

There was very little food out for breakfast due to some sort of issue in the kitchen. There was some issue in the kitchen and they were completely out of other things. Noone working there seemed concerned or made any explanation. A bunch of guests were waiting for food that never came. We ended up having to get food elsewhere. Not a very convenient use of time when traveling. We payed a premium price for our room and did not feel that the hotel was worth it regardless of the breakfast situation. I would never stay here again.

We stayed for one night. Pool area was decently clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. They were out of juice and coffee was cold and they said the coffee machine was having issues. Staff apologized and was friendly. I would stay there again.

We stay here every time we are in the area and always enjoy our stay. The only thing I would complain about would be the breakfast. The food is okay but always runs out early and when i have told the staff they do not seem to appreciate me mentioning it and they seem to just standing around do nothing

It was ok but not great. When we first arrived, I wanted to empty the trash out of our car from our drive, but the trash can by the entrance was overflowing. Our room was mostly clean, but one drawer had some trash in it from a previous guest. There was no bedding in the room for the pullout couch, but we were able to get some from the front desk. At breakfast, the staff was having a very hard time keeping everything stocked. After I helped my kids get their food, I went back to make a plate and they were out of eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and cinnamon rolls. Later when my daughter went back to make a second pancake, they were out of batter. Even the water dispenser said it needed to be refilled. In the pool area, the towel shelves were empty. The staff was friendly and overall things seemed clean, but it wasn’t the greatest stay.

This place is not well maintained. Floors in room and elevator are very worn. They were Cracked scuffed and I had to change rooms because of the smell. The second room was better but I had to put baby powder down and buy air fresheners for the room to smell some what fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room layout is okay. Couch had rips in it.
