This was my second time staying at this hotel with my children. We really enjoyed our stay once again. The place is clean, house keeping comes everyday and the pool is really heated!

The shower door did close completely. Terrible that this happened in a handicapped accessible room. Towels had to be placed on the floor to keep water from the shower from ending up in the middle of the floor. The halls leading to the rooms were very uncomfortable with humidity. No vents to have cool air in the halls at all. Never again will I set foot in a Holiday Inn express or any Holiday Inn

All was good. The Bar closed at 10:00 would have liked it to be open later at least until 11:00.

Halls were warm, rooms were very nice. Paid breakfast was good service but salty.

I love this hotel. We have stayed in quite a few hotels in this area and so far( IMO)this one was the best. That's including the Westin. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The area felt very safe, super convenient to the highway entrances and the amenities were awesome! The pool was heated, perfectly and VERY clean (both the pool itself and the pool area) My husband really appreciated the weight room. Which was located directly in front of the pool. As for the rooms,we stayed in the 2 BR Suite; there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and ample places to stow the luggage without being crowded. Also, the sound proofing was AMAZING!! With the rooms booked on both sides of us, we never heard anything. Also, once we closed the door to the bedroom, we could no longer hear the YV in the main site area. My only two complaints (if any) would be that, the time listed in the elevator for the operating hours for the Burger place was wrong and the top of the headboard was super dusty(which my daughter found.) As for the other amenities, they also had a burger place inside, business areas, two computers, relaxing areas complete with TV's, and an entertainment area, with a billiard table,TV and a bean bag. Oh and it's located less than 5 mins from the mall and plenty of parking. Which the police patrolled the area a lot.

The pool is ridiculously DISGUSTING!!! All.. i ask for in a hotel is a comfortable bed and a clean pool. It had the WORST smell prior to even opening the door. Standing in there was impossible. Whomever gets into the water will be critically ill Funny how you don't have to keep up with the quality or the hotel, yet i better maintain the quality of my credit card

Great property for a family stay. Indoor pool was clean and entire facility is well kept.

Everything was just perfect! The indoor pool was awesome! The staff was outstanding and the restaurant was amazing and delicious.

Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked that there was a restaurant in the facility, and the added entertainment room was nice. The only item that may need attention are the hallways to the rooms. They dont seem to be air conditioned so were quite hot and humid.

Hotel is beautiful and suoer comfortable. Lo carion was nice as well. Only negatives was the hotel just needed a deep clean in all the common areas and the hall way on the second floor was really hot. These were minor as the suite was nice and the bed was super comfortable.

The staff was great, room was very nice and was clean and well furnished.

The rooms weren’t bad, they just needed deep cleaning. The headboards had a vinyl insert, it needed desperately to be wiped down. The carpets were disgusting and need to be shampooed. The hotel is in a good location, parking is adequate and easy.

The carpets were very dirty and stained which gave me and “icky” feel about the entire room. We were traveling between Houston and San Antonio and this was the furthest out of the city we could stay that’s why we chose this area.

Good stay. Room was very comfortable and location very convenient. My only complaint was with the shower- the water pressure was really low. And because I was in there so long trying to rinse off I noticed that there were quite a few little hairs that did not get cleaned out.

I found bed bugs on our pillows after going to bed . Called front desk and they said the would send some up to look. I waited then took a video and went down to the desk and showed them the video . They switched me rooms but o couldn’t sleep due to feeling like I was being bit and worried about my 6yr old daughter. If it wasn’t so late I would have left . I asked about a refund but they said hotels.com would have to cause of being paid through the 3rd party. I will never stay there again and don’t recommend it. The second room had hair on the sheets and looked like the shower and bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned.

Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Loud tv noise from room next door. Public areas were not clean. Carpet in hallway was dirty. Elevator had spills and trash cans needed to empty.

My stay at this hotel was okay overall. The location is fantastic—it’s close to everything I needed, including shopping and dining options, which made exploring the area very convenient. However, the room had a very strong odor, likely from new construction or furniture. The smell was overwhelming and gave me a headache, making it difficult to sleep at night. It was a significant downside to an otherwise decent stay.

Took a while for my room to cool off, but if I did, so, I made sure that the AC stayed on the whole time. But the elevator and all the halls were super hot, it was horrible.

The tv remote barely worked. The cable service was out most of the night.

Clean, updated & very comfortable. Only issue: bedside lights not working.

Our room was on the 1st floor. To much lobby noise. It did quiet down after 11pm

I liked the place but you can hear everything above you

The layout of the rooms made it very comfortable for our family with teenagers who like to stay up late and not be in the same room as the parents. The separate living area with a door to the bedroom was great. The location of this hotel was very convenient. Everything was within minutes with lots to do.

Staff was wonderful checking in everything was nice until we go ready to relax in room around 9 pm just saying rooms were not soundproof 😳

The guy at the front desk on Friday night on Feb 24th was extremely rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated this way before at this hotel, everyone is always nice, but after this experience, My family and I will not be coming back when we come to town. There are a lot more hotels in this area with Nice employees. I’m sure I am not the first to go through this with this Employee. Shame on Management

desk staff was not interested in actually talking or working with the customers. Usually just self- absorbed. I checked out after staying 5 nights and the lady at the desk didn't even thank me for staying after I asked for a printed receipt and handed her the keys.

This was our second time staying at this location and I must say, it didn’t disappoint what so ever. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist.

The man at the front desk that helped us was the absolute best and so accommodating! I wish I had remembered his name. Best service ever.

We have stayed here in years past and really liked this Holiday Inn (staff was nice and rooms were clean). I also get “perks” for being an IHG platinum member and they used to honor those nicely as well. NOT ANY MORE! The two stars come from the horribly rude front desk ladies. When we were checking in she was so rude and abrupt. She definitely could care less if I was supposed to have perks for being a member, nor was she going to honor any. When we finally got to our room it was obvious that it was used for smoking. My little one has asthma and we can’t stay in a room with smoke. So when I interrupted (bc she acted like I messed up her free time) the lady at the desk to ask for new room she argued that they are a nonsmoking hotel. I told her that someone didn’t follow that rule but we needed a new room. She practically threw the new room key at me. The room was disgustingly dirty. This hotel used to be clean and nice and it definitely was not anymore. The only nice part is it’s a good location if you are looking to stay busy. Also, the beds are pretty comfortable. Upon check out we had the privilege of meeting the other rude front desk lady. I’m not sure why these antisocial ladies who hate their jobs would be the ones who work the front desk. I will say that the guy working at night was nice.

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice hotel with an outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly and eager to help.

Called ahead to let the hotel know I would be arriving at 3am due to plane delay. While they did hold my room for me, when I got to the hotel at 3am, I had to wait outside for 30 minutes because nobody was at the front desk to unlock the door. Called but no answer either.

The location is great. Next to the mall and restaurants everywhere. Los Cucos Mexican restaurant is walking distance.

Very nice and near the mall!

We stay at this location because it’s next door to the climbing gym. Love the area! No complaints. We don’t eat at the restaurant so no comments regarding that.

Fantastic location, friendly staff. A great place to stay if life brings you to Katy or the surrounding areas!

Convenient to shopping

*NO FREE BREAKFAST* Despite this hotel’s cleanliness, convenience and friendly staff, I may not have booked here had I known breakfast wasn’t included. The wording “breakfast available” is a little misleading. Breakfast can be purchased. I felt like the location was safe and near dining and shopping which was nice. The hotel was very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were all very friendly.

Well, I’m sorry to say that the morning service for breakfast was totally wrong. It was advertised as being ready at 7 o’clock. We were there at 7:45 and a coffee was cold and no service in sight and when I went to the front to ask the lady What was going on with the breakfast and she says oh I don’t know they’re in the back somewhere. One person finally came out to take care of the already waiting 15 or so people bringing dishes that looked not too appealing to me. My son had coffee and it was lukewarm at best , we mentioned it to the counter lady and she changed a new pot but by then we had lost all appetite and just left to another place. I think the experience was made worse because the lady at the counter seemed pretty nonchalant and acted bothered that I was asking her questions, even though I was very pleasant with her , it’s not the way to run service in a hotel, especially involving food. My bedsheets were pretty wrinkled and I was unsure whether they’ve been changed at all, so I slept with my socks on never going to another Holiday Inn again.

A little dissapointed that the hotel charged $14 per person for breakfast. So, needless to say, we didnt eat at the hotel.

We had breakfast packages. On our first day, the server was great and we didn't have restrictions to order anything from the menu. On the second day, it was a different server and he charged us for ordering veggie omelet and I told him that on our first day we had the same order and I didn't have to pay any additional, but he refused to listen. I think due to this kind of behaviour the hotel will lose business. If we prepay for breakfast packages then, we shouldn't be charged for basic breakfast. Changing rules just because he felt like was highly inappropriate.

when i booked thru expedia it showed free breakfast. When i got to the hotel they did not honor that at all. This is not good

Our room was excellent. Comfortable beds. Clean. Front desk was amazing. The restaurant and bar inside was very nice. 10/10 Will stay again.
