This is a nice place to stay! Except the hot tub wasn’t very hot and the pool was so cold

The folks that work here are fine but the elevator didn’t work most days and we had to walk three flights of stairs with our belongings several times!

Only one set of elevators was working and the convience store was very light on available food and drinks.

Hot tub was cold, room smelled like cigarettes, tile in bathroom was loose, breakfast was dry and over cooked, OJ was watered down, and there was no coffee.

The staff were delightful. Their “snack shop” had a variety of options. We were bummed that the hot tub was not working. At check in we asked if the pool and hot tub were in service we were told “yes, it was fixed yesterday”. The hot tub water and pool water was freezing cold. So we couldn’t enjoy the amenity. That was really the whole reason we booked with the hotel. We didn’t like that the shower curtain was too short. When we got out of the shower the floor was soaking wet, and had to use the towels to clean the floor which left the towels soaked. We did enjoy the continental breakfast. There was a variety of options to choose from. The oatmeal bar was my favorite! The coffee was also great as well! We also liked there were plenty of options of places to eat near by, and also a Walmart and HEB just down the street. The room was spacious, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved that the room had USB plug in and not just adapter plug ins. I cannot stress how delightful the staff was! Even with the downs. We enjoyed our stay over all!

When i arrived the front desk was unable to provide room keys. They let me into the room but then I couldn’t leave without them having to let me back in every time. Something about the computer updating (slowly). Major inconvenience. The hot tub was not working which I had been looking forward to after a long drive. The bed needs an upgrade. It is quiet here, but then it was a Monday night. It’s just your average mid budget hotel.

We booked this hotel for one intention which is to use their heated pool and hot tub for my family to enjoy. We are from the local. I specifically called the day before and few hours before the check in to double check that the hot tub is working and it’s heated. I was confirmed twice that it is working. After I checked in and changed our clothes in our room and went to the pool and discovered that the heater is broken. Adults refused to swim. Kids swam short time till the were freezing. They refused to provide us any full refund but only 50%. Which was complete unfair because I could have receive a full refund if I cancelled my stay through hotels.com before checking in. I didn’t do that only because they confirmed twice that it wasn’t broken. The integrity isn’t holding accountable in this stay. :-(

Property overall was nice but online they are listed as having a “hot tub” but it’s more of just a small extension of the pool and is not hot - at all. It was a bit dingy in the pool area but fine. My friend and I came and were really disappointed by the hot tub as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Room was clean, staff was friendly so nothing to really complain about.

Place was very clean.As full as it was ,it was very quiet. Staff was nice and friendly. Lots of stores and restaurants around. Parking was horrible. Other than that would stay again.

I have been staying at this hotel for several months now since I am taking a class every month close by. This past weekend some body was having a party or something. we could not sleep as there was a lot of noise all night.

Issues were NO CABLE for entire stay, no internet on first night (very complicating that requires front desk to work with another internet provider to get your laptop connected), and keypad door access. HIGHLY recommend to look at other hotels within the area instead of this one. This was my worse hotel stay in all of 2024.

Very dated hotel internally. While the breakfast is “free”, the eggs taste like they’re powder and the coffee from the coffee pots was lukewarm. Property is in need of a renovation.

Overall was great,the only bad part is that the rooms did not have cable TV,was not able to watch the Kansas City Chiefs lose.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable. Not having cable for 4 days was unacceptable.

The first room we were in (122) smelled funny. Then the toilet stopped up! The desk person graciously upgraded us to a suite (not sure what number). The AC was terribly loud - too loud to stand it. So they moved us to a third place. The AC was STILL loud, but not as loud, and we were tired. So we just stayed. But ALL NIGHT LONG we heard it, and it was just awful. Very unsatisfactory.

Rob was super helpful in every aspect from the time we entered the lobby. Going out of his way to help with business documents to giving us a list of local eats. We will not even consider anywhere else after such a great experience! The breakfast was superb!

I reserved and paid upfront for a single king room two months in advance. I traveled all day and was exhausted upon arriving to the hotel at 10 PM. The lady at the front desk told me that unfortunately my room was no longer available and she “upgraded” the room to a double queen and that was the only option we had. Being exhausted with no where else to go We said okay. We asked when a king room would be available. She said in a few days we will call you and move you to that room. We stayed in that room for three nights until they moved us to a single king room for the last two nights. They did not offer any type of compensation or reimbursement or refund. Also the first day, trying to enjoy our vacation we attempted to go into the pool. It was closed and out of commission. We asked if there was some type of reimbursement we could get because the pool and hot tub were both out of commission and no one told us when we checked in. They said no there’s nothing we can do. We were disappointed yet again. They advertised a pool and yet we couldn’t use it. The pool and hot tub both were out of commission during our entire stay. We saved all year for this trip and were completely dissatisfied. Also I’m concerned I could be charged for other guests possibly damaging a room I was never in for the first three nights because their system shows I was in one room only. When I asked for an itemized receipt for the two different rooms they hand wrote in that I stayed in different rooms.

The hotel itself looked nice upon arrival, it was a Saturday. For some reason the elevators were super hot but that wasn’t that big of a deal. Our first night there we made the mistake of putting the “we’re relaxing” do not disturb sign on the door. By the time we left the room the next day(Sunday) it was around 11am. When we came back to the room that night our room had not been clean but we understood that it was mostly due to us having the sign and not removing it early enough. The following day(Monday) we did not put any sign on the door because my mother really wanted the room to be cleaned, when we came back later that night it was not cleaned again. I had to ask for extra towels. The next day(Tuesday) our room was not cleaned AGAIN. My mother was very upset and she went downstairs to speak with the gentleman that was working. He explained to her that the room had not been cleaned because it was “on the schedule to be cleaned the next day”. She asked him what she was supposed to do with all the garbage and dirty towels and he gave her a big black garbage bag and told her to leave everything outside in the hallway. My mother had to clean the room herself and left everything in the hallway which was picked up the next morning. However, once again the next day on Wednesday, the day we were told was the day we were scheduled for housekeeping to clean, no one came. Our room was not cleaned AGAIN. This is now the 4th day. Welcoming front desk staff at check in. Room was comfortable and clean.

Check in game is late in the day at 4pm. I was driving in from about 30 min away so I requested an early checkin time. They said I could check in early at 2pm. I arrived at 2:15 and they said the room wasn’t ready and to come back in an hour. I was a little upset because I had called in advance and confirmed an early checkin time. Oh well, things happen. I come back at 4pm thinking “okay this is the normal check in time and I won’t have to wait around” however - I was told again at 4 that my room wasn’t ready. So I waited. Room was finally ready at 4:30pm. Was not happy about that.

We just needed a room for the night to move our daughter into Texas State. Hotel was just 15 minutes from campus. The staff was very welcoming and friendly upon on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. Will most likely stay again when visiting campus.

We only stayed 1 night but everything was as described. The receptionist was very friendly and was informative. Very convenient to many restaurants and shopping and easy access from I-35. I gave 4 stars for 1 of the survey questions, I believe it was comfort. We had a king sized bed but the pillows were for a queen or possibly smaller. Definitely not a deal breaker, I will stay here whenever I need to stay in Buda.

Stayed here for one night. Great location near Cabela’s. Establishment was clean with friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and pillows which is a game changer.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Ample free parking. The breakfast was really good with lots of options, like omelettes, croissants, oatmeal, waffles, bagels and more. The staff was very helpful. We stayed one night after a wedding we attended and it was great!

Our stay was for 2 nights. Our room was ready and cool when we arrived. There are many restaurants in the area so you don't have to travel much to have a nice meal. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with plenty of seating. The only thing that wasn't brought to our attention was that housekeeping was every other day. Not a biggy, just had to get towels from front desk.

Booked the room for my sons family and I accompanied them during the check in, which was quick and painless. The hotel was very clean along with the rooms and breakfast area. My son said they had one of the best breakfast's that he has had in all his hotel stays.
