It’s a beautiful property in a wonderful location on the sea. The staff are absolutely beautiful and so helpful, nothing is a problem for them. The food is delicious and well presented and good value. However the hotel is undergoing a renovation so it might have been useful to know at time of booking. Also at time of check in nobody said anything. The jackhammering of concrete and belt sanding of wood close to the pool ruined the ambience but on speaking with the staff it was immediately stopped !

This hotel is beautiful and located opposite the fort. Its pool area is stunning and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We loved our stay.

Super amazing staff assisted in all need. Everyone from the desk, cleaners and kitchen crew made our stay such an experience that that alone was worth the stay on top of all that the amenities and views they really go above and beyond! I will forsure be coming back to this hotel from now on whenever in Galle thank you Le Grand Staff for your hospitality and attentiveness!
