My wife and I stayed for 3 nights prior to leaving for USA. The facilities offered matched our needs. The room was functional and modern. The TV was difficult to operate and lacked choices. The Gym was small but had mostly needed equipment. I missed having a roving equipment. The food was not up to expectations. We will be going back as there is no other hotel that caters to travelers.

Lovely hotel in a good location. Our room was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Great choice of local and international foods to choose from. The roof top bar and pool have amazing views of the city.

For a mid range hotel it is fine. We had a lovely big room even though the hotel is quite dated. Unfortunately there sss in our floor (Floor 10) a very strong mould smell from the air con. Great pool and beautiful staff. It is not really stylish but it was clean with great service.

Stayed for 13 nights. Overall house keeping, restaurant service, etc. was excellent. Hospitality was great. Bed was comfortable. Room for improvement with carpets (smells musky), recommend replacing AC filters more often, and ensuring mold doesn't build up in the bathroom between tiles and on shower ceiling.

Excellent experience in a very good hotel. Safe, clean and with a very well appointed room. Everything worked. Housekeeping was exceptional. All the staff were keen to help, were always polite and efficient and friendly. The pool area very nice with amazing views but there wasn’t any shade! The gym facilities were very good and the area was supervised I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Red Hotel and would stay again in a second.

A generally clean, nice and well-resourced hotel. However, we found our room to be much smaller than we thought it would be based on photographs on the hotel’s website. Also, the sofa bed was terrible - the worst we have ever been provided at hotel we have stayed at ever. It was essentially a mattress on the floor. We also had a constant issue with staff not providing us with the correct number of fresh towels in the morning - we would ask for three and they would always only provide two. (Should stress they were generally very helpful and friendly). On a positive note - the rooftop bar and swimming pool are amazing.

Last minute family trip and chose Cinnamon Red. Family member had to work remotely and good wifi connection throughout the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location in that transport readily available, supermarket nearby and bar and coffee shops nearby. Would recommend Cinnamon Red.

I enjoyed my stay at Cinnamon Red, the room was modern, clean and had a great view from 25th floor - I liked that they supplied 2 water bottles daily and provided a minibar. I tried the breakfast one morning (for a charge) and it had a great variety of sweet and savoury food with a fresh pancake and omelette station. Staff were all professional and helpful around the hotel. The only minus is that the room could have a more modern hairdryer and more vegan/gluten free options on the menu for room service but this is just a small detail.

Good views of Colombo from our Panorama room. We had a problem with the A/C when we arrived but they quickly moved us to another room. Arriving overnight from the UK they kindly let us check in early.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Cinnamon Red, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and we felt so welcome. The pool is lovely and we really enjoyed our cocktails during happy hour! The room was generously sized with an extremely comfortable bed. I would recommend the Cinnamon Red to anyone travelling to Colombo!

The check in took us almost 2 hours!! We had to wait on the line standing and it took a big amount of time of our staying this hotel. Super bad service!! Also it took very long to get our luggage to our room so we had to ho back and get those ourselves. The staff was only looking for parade outside the hotel.

Schönes Zimmer mit Panoramablick über die Stadt, sauber und mit allem was mensch so braucht, später check-in und check-out. Der Check-in- und Check-out-Prozess hat jedoch etwas lange gedauert, das Housekeeping hat morgens geklingelt und auf der Dachterasse haben wir so lange auf die Speisekarte warten müssen, dass wir dann woanders hin gegangen sind.

Most of the staff at the reception and other areas were trainees. My check-in process took around 15 minutes. Had a similar experience to just order a couple of items where I used the food and beverage discount. Both the room cards got deactivated within a day and had to wait in line again to get them activated

Poor check-in experience. Redundant and inefficient processes, such as keying in all ID information and then also taking photos of them,this process repeated for both me and my wife, keying in credit card receipt numbers and information back in to the hotel reservation system, etc.) When asked about these time consuming processes, was told that this is how all their hotels operate which immediately helped me to decide not to use any cinnamon brand hotel for my next stay 😂. The floors were carpeted and the musky smells were overwhelming especially in the corridors. Only two bath towels were in the room. No hand or face towels. The coffee/tea station in the room lacked basic necessities - no coasters, no glass, etc. Room was not made up until after 3pm. The staff was mechanical - not very helpful. It’s almost like these people had no idea how to run a hotel. Quite surprised by the poor experience- failed to meet basic expectations. Will avoid Cinnamon hotels in the future.

Stay itself was great and for leisure travelers is perfect for mid tier hotels. Infinity pool and incredibly comfortable room. Personally i thought the breakfast and gym was poor, however i had come from the Hilton so in fairness for half the price this plsce is probably better value for a normal person. Plus a normal person would appreciate bscon and eggs moresk than myself. Do recommend hotel for those wanting a luxury room at a great price, personally i wouldn’t stay again unless i planned in advance to avoid the breakfast and not go to the gym

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Cinnamon Red. Easy check-in, very kind staff, clean rooms (particular shout out to attentive housekeeping staff, always providing more water and asking if anything was need). The room had a great city view, comfy bed and spacious shower. Dinner buffet was quite pricey for Colombo but it was amazing too, a lot of variety. Highly recommend!

This is my third time staying at Cinnamon Red on a trip to Sri Lanka. Really conveniently located to offices, shopping, entertainment. Staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. If you are there, don’t forget to try the local favorites hoppers, string hoppers and Kiribati. Definitely will stay there on my next trip.

A good location, close to food options and Liberty Plaza if you want to some tea, or other items. The hotel is well presented and it has a great pool. It's a well run place. I think the hotel food could improve. I had a cold club sandwich with Luke warm chips. The breakfast buffet is fine but not outstanding.
