Stayed in two-bed, two bathroom sea view apartment. The apartment was huge! Very spacious and the biggest balcony I have ever seen with a lovely sea view. Modern bathrooms with a nice walk-in shower in the en-suite and full bathroom for the other. Slippers and robes provided for all. There were nice little welcome touches provided, included complimentary drinks in the bar. We chose to eat out while on holiday so didn't utilise the kitchen, which was a very good size and appeared fairly well equipped. Plenty of space for dining indoors or out on the balcony. An indoor pool overlooking the garden and sea was great in February and the hotel has a skate ramp with skateboards and helmets to borrow. The hotel has an underground garage but we parked for free on the street outside. Ericeria is a very pretty little town with plenty of places to eat/drink if you wanted to go outside the hotel. We visited in February when the area is much quieter but still sunny and low 20s so great for being outdoors. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely 10 night stay at You and the sea. Apartments are huge! We had an 2 bed and there was loads of space, which was great. All the staff were excellent and tend to every need. We booked surf lessons through the hotel which were great as well. Great facilities for adults and kids. Short work to South Beach which was lovely and generally quiet until late afternoon when the locals came down. Walkable distance into Ericeira, but Uber taxi is cheap alternative. Loads of great beaches a short driver away. Only gripes were: Wi-Fi in room was poor, noise travels through the hotel so you do hear doors closing etc. and the breakfast wasn’t to our taste but we only ate there once. Also our balcony was very small and didn’t catch much sun, would advise asking for a south facing room or a balcony with good sun coverage. TBH these didn’t spoil our trip at all and would stay here again and again.

We stayed in two separate two bedroom suites and both were huge, beautifully decorated and equipped with anything you could need. The breakfast was amazing and we had a great dinner on site as well. The hotel is a 15 min walk along a gorgeous sea wall into town. The hotel is immaculate, with very friendly and helpful staff. We can't say enough good things! I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Ericeria.

I was not given any VIP amenities or treatment. I earned it but it was overlooked. The property, since I was last there when it opened, has deteriorated and it’s not as I remembered it. The front desk service team lack excitement and enthusiasm and that creates an energy that’s anti-vacation. The experience could be better because we’re in Portugal, for goodness sake. The spirit is mediocre at best. The housekeeping team seemed annoyed to clean our room. The front desk team seems uninterested in ensuring our stay was unforgettable. The trash outside was riddled with birds pecking off it bc the trash was strewn around it. Food spillage around the can—hose it down. I was sad to return almost seven years later and find it sub-par. The dining room staff—the young lady with the pony tail had an air of superiority and seemed annoyed that we would come down and ask for an omelette. I almost hated to go down for breakfast and see her. I won’t be back. The only highlight was checking out and getting help from the young man at the front desk at 5/6 AM. He’s your star player! Best human there and the spa lady! She’s a gem!

The hotel building itself is excellent. The rooms are modern and spacious, the facilities are overall very good, and it’s in a great location. But for the money, the staff are woefully inept and undertrained, and this spoilt the whole experience for us. The first day was ruined by the multiple ways in which they messed up the car rental, resulting in two expensive taxi rides, only one of which they offered to pay for. Multiple times I had to point out the Turkish bath timer had turned off. The restaurant staff knew nothing about the menus (neither the food nor the wine), which resulted in confusion and mistakes every time we ate. We were only there for four days, but by the end we were looking for any excuse to get out of the hotel to avoid any more debacles. Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience. Fixing the issues above would turn it into a real gym, but as it was, we feel ripped off considering how much we spent.

We hebben heel veel genoten van onze vakantie! Het hotel was gewoon perfect voor ons. Het appartement was heel netjes en ruim. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam, vriendelijk en spreken vlot engels. Ook het restaurant van het hotel was top met heel lekkere mocktails en elk gerecht dat we daar gegeten hebben was heel lekker. Ook het ontbijt was telkens uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. Het hotel is slechts 10min wandelen van het mooie stadje Ericeira. De surflessen waren ook heel goed gegeven en georganiseed.

Short work to South Beach which was lovely and generally quiet until late afternoon when the locals came down. Walkable distance into Ericeira, but Uber taxi is cheap alternative. Loads of great beaches a short driver away. Only gripes were: Wi-Fi in room was poor, noise travels through the hotel so you do hear doors closing etc. and the breakfast wasn’t to our taste but we only ate there once. Also our balcony was very small and didn’t catch much sun, would advise asking for a south facing room or a balcony with good sun coverage. TBH these didn’t spoil our trip at all and would stay here again and again.

We just had an incredible four nights at You and the Sea. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms far surpassed our expectations. We stayed in two separate two bedroom suites and both were huge, beautifully decorated and equipped with anything you could need. The breakfast was amazing and we had a great dinner on site as well. The hotel is a 15 min walk along a gorgeous sea wall into town. The hotel is immaculate, with very friendly and helpful staff. We can't say enough good things! I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Ericeria.

Good staff, great facilities, great breakfast & within walking distance from the beach and downtown, but you need to book in advanced for dinning in their restaurant (we were not adviced about it).

Beautiful upgrade to one bedroom apt- with balcony, thank you! Very comfy, clean, great bed and linens, full kitchen with laundry (!!), garage parking at no cost, excellent breakfast buffet and a la cart, private beach access, great staff. What’s not to love?
