Parkplatz sehr schlecht. Barkeeper hat uns mit seinem Auto extra die Ausfahrt versperrt. Wir mussten 10 min mit ihm diskutieren und das war für mich und meine Frau nicht angenehm. Wegen so etwas zu diskutieren. Und wir haben für eine Nacht verlängert und mussten viel mehr bezahlen.

Ein schönes, sauberes 4-Sterne-Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und bemüht. Auf meinem Zimmer waren weder Bademantel noch Hausschuhe, auf Nachfrage wurden mir diese aufs Zimmer gebracht. Leider werden einige Dinge nicht klar ersichtlich, beispielsweise die Preise der Getränke/Snacks in der Minibar. Für 2x 0,5L Wasser, 1x 0,2L O-Saft und eine kleine Chipstüte wurden mir 26€ in Rechnung gestellt. Online wurde ein niedrigerer Preis für die Bestellung aufs Zimmer angegeben. Auch den Bademantel hätte ich im Voraus bestellen müssen, was nirgends zu lesen war. Bei meiner Ankunft war die Taschentuchbox im Bad leer. Ich bestellte online aufs Zimmer und habe bis zum letzten Tag keine Taschentücher erhalten. Der Status blieb lediglich: „Sobald Ihre Bestellung verfügbar ist, […]“. Ein weiterer störender Punkt ist die Parkmöglichkeit des Hotels. Es war immer so, dass ich früh abends zur Parkgarage gefahren bin, das grüne Licht leuchtete „frei“ und allein die Fahrt in die Garage erfordert starke Nerven, da die Einfahrt und die Garage ziemlich eng sind. Unten angekommen musste ich dann JEDES MAL feststellen, dass keiner der 16 Parkplätze frei waren. Und dann wieder den Wagen herausmanövieren.. Eine nervtötende Tortur, wenn man von einem 8-stündigen Seminar kommt.. Aber - das muss ich anmerken - ein super freundlicher Mitarbeiter kam mir jedes Mal wie ein Schutzengel zu Hilfe und hat mir sogar einen „Undercover“-Parkplatz angeboten. Kompetente und äußerst freundliche Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Balkon, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und Eierspeisen werden nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter sind schnell und aufmerksam. Ein Besuch in der Bar ist zu empfehlen. Dort wird man von einem sympathischen Mitarbeiter empfangen der sehr gekonnt wundervolle Cocktails mixt und eine angenehme Atmosphäre schafft. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

Superfijn hotel: kamer groot genoeg, megasterke douche, veel kastruimte, goed ontbijt, om de hoek bij de grote winkelstraten, betaalbaar, parkeergarage bij hotel of aan de overkant. Bed tikje aan de harde kant. In het centrum zijn relatief veel daklozen, ook vaak in de Q-park tegenover het hotel. We nemen altijd dit hotel in Essen.

Super zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Essener Innenstadt. Alles in fußläufiger Entfernung. Nettes Personal, Zimmer hätten etwas sauberer sein können (Haare im Badezimmer) und waren recht spartanisch ausgestattet. Trotzdem super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - gerne wieder!

Check-in sehr angenehm, Check-out sehr unterkühlt. Außer der Frage nach einer Rechnung kam es zu keinem Gespräch. Das Frühstücksbüfett lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im Zimmer gibt es für zwei Gäste einen Stuhl. Unter dem Bett müsste nach langer Zeit mal wieder gefegt werden. Die Aussicht Richtung Rathaus ist toll. Man darf nur nicht nach unten schauen: das Umfeld des Hotels ist sehr verschmutzt.

De accommodatie ligt gunstig gelegen. 2 minuten lopen en je bent in het centrum. Het ligt alleen aan een erg drukke weg dus veel geschreeuw, auto geluiden etc die je hoort. Kamer was niet schoon, veel haren in de badkamer en koffie vlekken op de vloer bij het bureau. Ook was het er veel te warm. De warmte is door stadsverwarming dus we konden het raam open zetten in de hoop dat het afkoelde, maar dat was niet het geval. Daarom een nacht eerder vertrokken dan gepland.

Bei der Sauberkeit des Zimmers ist jedoch noch viel Luft nach oben. Die Toilette war nicht sauber, Haare lagen auf dem Bett, die Beistelltische waren nicht gereinigt. Schade!

We booked two nights at an exceptional price (so that may affect our opinion). Reception was professional and polite. At the entry there was usually free water and occasionally pieces of fruit or sweets. The room was light and airy with a fairly comfortable bed. Sound proofing was good and the light blocking curtains were mostly effective. There was a desk, with a worn out chair, so working from the room is possible, though perhaps not the most comfortable. Cleanliness was fine though when we moved the floor lamp there was a lot of dust and dirt underneath, and there was also dust in top of the lamp and in other parts of the room. Our room came with a kettle, tea, coffee, glasses and a small fridge. The shower was good with a range of soap, conditioner and shampoo but the silicon sealant was worn out, which meant that water would flood onto the floor. During our stay there was a fire alarm early Sunday morning and following the incident no information was given to guests as to why this happened - some proactive communications would have been appreciated. Generally the hotel was clean and comfortable though there were signs of wear and tear that detracted from this. The hotel is well located, close to a transport hub and within the town centre. We were happy with our two night stay and were we to stay in Essen again would reconsider staying here, assuming a similar price point.

Juniorsuite 604 in Größe und Ausstattung überdurchschnittlich, leider nagt der Zahn der Zeit an einigen Einrichtungsgegenständen. Im Badezimmer wäre eine bodentiefe Dusche anstatt einer Badewanne sicherlich komfortabler. Zudem war das fensterlose Badezimmer sehr staubig und Silikonstreifen teilweise schon von Schwarzschimmel befallen. Der Deckenabzug im Badezimmer ist augenscheinlich ohne Funktion und zieht die Feuchtigkeit nicht ab.

Beautiful hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful shower. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Visited for the Rammstein performances in Gelsenkirchen and this hotel was perfect to have a restful night after a long day.

Das Hotel war super. Sehr schöne und bequeme Einrichtung sowie tolles Frühstück. Die Zimmertür ist leider nur durch knallen lassen richtig ins Schloss gegangen. Man musste also gut aufpassen und hat morgens die ein oder andere Tür laut zu knallen hören.

Wir hatten für eine Nacht eine Juniorsuite gebucht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Matratzenqualität war top. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist der Innenstadtlärm ziemlich deutlich, dafür ist die Innenstadt mit Läden und Restaurants direkt um die Ecke. Beim Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen, dass man zusätzlich zum Buffet noch Eierspeisen individuell am Tisch bestellen kann.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Frühstück** Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten, und insgesamt war es eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Das Hotel war **sehr sauber**, was mir von Anfang an aufgefallen ist. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer und der öffentlichen Bereiche hat definitiv zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt beigetragen. Check-in sehr angenehm, Check-out sehr unterkühlt. Außer der Frage nach einer Rechnung kam es zu keinem Gespräch. Das Frühstücksbüfett lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im Zimmer gibt es für zwei Gäste einen Stuhl. Unter dem Bett müsste nach langer Zeit mal wieder gefegt werden. Die Aussicht Richtung Rathaus ist toll. Man darf nur nicht nach unten schauen: das Umfeld des Hotels ist sehr verschmutzt.

Selten so zuvorkommendes Personal getroffen. Meine Frau ist Gluten Intolerant, es war kein Problem ein passendes Frühstück zu bekommen, es wurde sogar von dem Service Personal mit einem extra Teller und extra Auswahl an den Tisch gebracht. Super freundliches Personal und super Sauberes Zimmer. Leider ist die Umgebung des Hotels sehr Grenzwertig. Mit vielen Obdachlosen sowie offenen Drogenspots. Aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts!!!! Sie geben sich alle Mühe einen tollen Aufenthalt zu gewähren.

We booked two nights at an exceptional price (so that may affect our opinion). Reception was professional and polite. At the entry there was usually free water and occasionally pieces of fruit or sweets. The room was light and airy with a fairly comfortable bed. Sound proofing was good and the light blocking curtains were mostly effective. There was a desk, with a worn out chair, so working from the room is possible, though perhaps not the most comfortable. Cleanliness was fine though when we moved the floor lamp there was a lot of dust and dirt underneath, and there was also dust in top of the lamp and in other parts of the room. Our room came with a kettle, tea, coffee, glasses and a small fridge. The shower was good with a range of soap, conditioner and shampoo but the silicon sealant was worn out, which meant that water would flood onto the floor. During our stay there was a fire alarm early Sunday morning and following the incident no information was given to guests as to why this happened - some proactive communications would have been appreciated. Generally the hotel was clean and comfortable though there were signs of wear and tear that detracted from this. The hotel is well located, close to a transport hub and within the town centre. We were happy with our two night stay and were we to stay in Essen again would reconsider staying here, assuming a similar price point.

Kompetente und äußerst freundliche Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Balkon, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und Eierspeisen werden nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter sind schnell und aufmerksam. Ein Besuch in der Bar ist zu empfehlen. Dort wird man von einem sympathischen Mitarbeiter empfangen der sehr gekonnt wundervolle Cocktails mixt und eine angenehme Atmosphäre schafft. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

Mohammed was very helpful and polite. The fact that he could speak English was a plus. He also ordered a taxi for is in a jiffy. Great service. Only wish there were facial bar soaps provided and not just hand wash. Please give Mohamed a bonus or promotion.

De accommodatie ligt gunstig gelegen. 2 minuten lopen en je bent in het centrum. Het ligt alleen aan een erg drukke weg dus veel geschreeuw, auto geluiden etc die je hoort. Kamer was niet schoon, veel haren in de badkamer en koffie vlekken op de vloer bij het bureau. Ook was het er veel te warm. De warmte is door stadsverwarming dus we konden het raam open zetten in de hoop dat het afkoelde, maar dat was niet het geval. Daarom een nacht eerder vertrokken dan gepland.

The hotel was the only nice thing about Essen. The area was extremely unsafe and didn’t feel comfortable walking around. Had homeless people approach us- and a Sunday night fight on the street that lead to about 10 police cars! Didn’t feel like Germany at all Felt more like an area for middle eastern immigrants. Hotel was really nice though :)

Das Frühstück jedoch war bestenfalls als mittelprächtig zu bezeichnen. Billige Wurst und Käse (Aldi bzw. Lidl Qualität) in begrenzter Auswahl. Die Eier kalt, die Säfte von niedriger Qualität und der Frühstücksraum eher kalt. Das Frühstück trübte leider den ansonsten guten Eindruck.

Goed hotel. Loopafstand van winkels en restaurants. Kamer netjes. Ontbijt is heel goed. Kok bakt een eitje voor je. Voldoende keuze aan beleg, brood en nog veel meer. Koffiemachine maakt lekkere koffie, cappuccino enz. Parkeren onder het hotel in garage. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.
