The breakfast area was always stocked and clean. The staff was very nice. Our room was fairly nice and the bathroom was pretty clean. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to get into the pool, hopefully next time. The only thing i didn't like was the parking...too far from the entrance unless u are a diamond customer.

Secluded on the top of a hill overlooking the mountains and city. Super safe and pleasantly clean and comfy. Will stay again! Next time bathing suits for the indoor pool :)

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s both nice and family friendly. Indoor pool is small and only 3-4’ deep, but perfect for kids. Free hot & cold breakfast was kept stocked all morning. Clean & modern. Nice sized rooms & breakfast/hangout area. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

The hotel and room are very clean. There is a continental breakfast and there are restaurants that are close to the property. There is a pool and a nice patio. We stayed here the night before a resort stay and I liked the Hampton inn much more.

Rode my bike 77 miles in the heat to this place including 1.5 miles up a very steep hill. I was sweaty and tired. How nice to meet Xander who not only patiently checked me in but offered me a water... the elevator was fast, the room spotless, and laundry efficient. It was nice they had a limited beer selection. I was disappointed the fridge was off, but my wife suggested using the ice bucket to keep the beer cold and it worked. My biggest disappointment was no food within walking distance and Uber seemingly unavailable... I did walk to town and back for food, but should have just had something delivered. Nice soft bed, shower head valve was messed up (water sprayed out while I was filling a tub to soak in), but worked out with extra towels. Breakfast was great and hit the spot. Would stay again!

Dislikes 1. The Price is way to high for that area. 2. For the price I expected a nicer bathroom, a tub with shower curtain is so out of date 3. The refrigerator was off and did not know it until we went to put something in it. No one at the desk told us at check in. The sign that stated this was inside the frig instead of in front of the TV so we would see it. 4. There should be tables with sockets on both sides of the bed, very inconvenient. 5. The toilet paper has to be the cheapest type ever made how awful !!. Now for the Likes 1. Very clean 2. Staff very nice. 3. Parking and outside area was nice as well.

Super clean, beautiful decor very modern bright colors very relaxing, beautiful and large dining area. Grateful hot breakfast buffet every morning with different choices of hot items juices oatmeal, toast, waffle maker. 24 hour, hot chocolate, hot tea, and coffee station down in the lobby. Really comfortable beds. Very nice stuff.

I travel for work and stay in hotels 20-25 nights per month. I am so Impressed with the staff at the Cumberland Hampton Inn. It is rare to come across 1 or 2 staff members that give good customer service these days, and even more rare to have an entire staff that displays great customer service. The Staff is AMAZING! I felt very welcomed, respected and appreciated by everyone I had contact with. Jordan checked me in and was very friendly. Jeff at the front desk in the evening went out of his way to accommodate me on numerous occasions and I am extremely thankful. Scott in the breakfast area went above and beyond to show hospitality and Dee was always smiling, very pleasant and helpful each time I spoke with her. Great management and happy employees create a successful business. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back next time I am in this area!

We had two rooms in our party of 5 for a family members memorial service and had to drive all night in order to be there in time. Hotel staff allowed us to check in early so we could rest and get ready. They were all very nice and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and for the price of the rooms, this is a great place to stay.

Property was clean but girl that checked us in not very nice. We arrived at around 7:00 Pm Asked her for a restaurant and were directed almost an hour away when restaurants were literally right down the hill. Were sent to a mexican restaurant that was in very bad area with 2 small grandaughters.I called Fairfield Marriot and they directed us to to Mezzas which was perfect and literally right down from our hotel. So we didn't get to eat until 8:45PM. I run my own travel agency for 23 yrs now and am really surprised at this. The morning lady that checked us out was very nice and professional. Easy and convenient location to the highway. Wonderful view. I am familiar with the area so did not need directions, but I did overhear others ask for directions and places of interest - the front desk was wonderful giving suggestions and directions. Food, gas, downtown area, C&O Canal are all within 5-10 min from the hotel. The hotel was clean and staff friendly.

This was a great place to stay for our weekend visit. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I have actually tried to research the mattresses and pillows. I want them! They had a warm breakfast which was nicely tended to by a very friendly gentleman. Coffee was always on tap. We will stay there again.
