Hilton Garden Inn Jackson/Clinton

The staff was both friendly and helpful. SERVICE at the "restaurant" and bar were good!! Now the bad. We stayed here on our way out and on our way back. The bar had no wine. They ran out of the beer I drink after two rounds. The food was good and the bartender was awesome. On the way out the room we stayed in had a sliding bathroom door that was off the track. I am an early riser and my wife is not. I needed to shut the door in order to shower and not disturb her and could not do it. The door was quite heavy and the front was resting on the ground. On the way back we were told after check in that the elevator was out. Had to carry our luggage up and down stairs. It was still out the next day. Again the bar ran out of my beer after one round because there was another person drinking the same brand. People were wanting their money back because of the elevator situation, but were told that the hotel couldn\'t do that if it was booked and paid for through a third party such as Expedia. We were told by a guest at the bar that stays there regularly that they were not allowed to keep necessary inventory due to upper management. I find it hard to believe that the Hilton brand would allow this.

Only one towel in the bathroom, only three pillows for four guest. Pool was dark green, bar was closed, elevator dirty, floors dirty. NOT WORTH THE PRICE

I am sad to have to say my stay was not as enjoyable as I had hoped! Upon arriving after getting in and settling got ready to come down and found that the elevator was not working! I was very unhappy especially since I was on the fourth floor! Couple workers that were in the hallway stated one of the workers had gotten stuck on it and they need to get it fixed and stop patching it up here and there. It stayed broken the rest of the day only way travel was to have to take the four flights of stairs. Next day for a minute it was working when I came down but when I returned to go to my room it was unfortunately not working again and stayed down even my next day there. Having one set elevators and as many floors they have making sure elevator is working correctly always. You would think they would have offered a discount or some type of offering for the inconvenience.

The area in elevator did not appear to be clean. Could not control room temperature!! Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working. Overall condition below my previous experience with Hilton properties.

Parking was very crowded and there was a couple of major events in the area that led to many people being inconsiderate in how they parked. The lobby area was very noisy due to people gathering to drink/celebrate their teams victory. Water pressure was quite low on the fourth floor and the bathroom was not fresh. I expected better.

First room was not cleaned bed was made but sheets dirty microwave had food in it that had mold on food. Front desk lady apologized and gave us another room that was clean and nice. First room was 420 second room 419

Room service did not stop by, the cleaner in the hall had no towels, he called for towels then I called for towels, she said there were none downstairs, waited 45 minutes, and never received them. I went to the second floor to ask that cleaner and she was no where to be found, I just took some out of a dirty room. I don’t even understand why she had alol the clean towels and all of her rooms was still dirty. Clean towels on the shelf with dirty on the floor and a guest waiting for towels.! Make it make sense.! Then it was a dog barking like crazy and when we reported it they said no one had checked in with a dog. It stopped for 1 night and was back the next day. The room furniture had stains everywhere and I move the coffee maker and it was full of dirt.! Horrible experience won’t be there again.!

Horrible, everything was dirty, lip kissing marks on the mirrors, spots everywhere that indicated nothing had been wiped down. Pillow cases were wrinkled, I’m not even convinced that they had been washed. The carpet felt wet, room had an odor. I don’t understand how this is a Hilton

The hotel had a smell as if there were sewer issues on the first floor. The first room I was assigned had hair in the shower floor and sink. The air vent was full of dust and lent. I was very disappointed. Thankfully we were moved to another room but was not offered any compensation for our inconvenience for having been placed in an unsafe environment.

To start, went to the pool, then got locked out of our room for at least an hour. They reset our key 3 times. Finally changed us to a different room. They came and unlocked the door for us to move our luggage, and we went to check a last time to make sure we got everything, but someone had locked it back. The next morning, there were dead roaches around the bathroom. I called the front desk to have towels and washcloths brought to room, they said to come get from front desk. Pool towels are the size of hand towels.

Great stay the smell of fresh clean rooms ,hallways and elevators was the highlight of my stay. The staff was great. The bed was comfortable, but the smell of cleanness was everything to me.

There was mold in the shower, I had no flat sheet on the bed, one wash cloth, the outdoor sitting area was dirty. To be a Hilton I was disappointed. The staff though was very nice.

Like: Parking, room size, view and lobby

As already mentioned, it was pretty quiet, seemed safe, had breakfast AND dinner. The downstairs lounge pretty, rooms and beds comfortable, coffee maker. I did not like the night they just did not have dinner bc of some party—no warning; that the barn door went off its track and trapped me in the bathroom, or that my window shade was down all day—broken—would not go up. More attention to keeping up with maintenance. I liked that there was a selection of food you could bring to your room to microwave and a good number of TV channels. Also the vivid clock by the side of the bed.

There was no room available when I went to check in

This hotel was a mixed blessing for my party. The room was clean and comfortable but we found the service to be lacking. The night staff seemed to spend most of their time sitting in the conference room and it took a while for them to notice us and assist with check in. Staff and service could have been a bit more friendly. Otherwise the room was comfortable and a good value. Surrounding area was a bit sketchy at times. This hotel has a paid buffet breakfast that is reasonably priced. The staff on duty didn’t appear very friendly as we approached so we ended up leaving to get breakfast elsewhere.

the room they gave me had someone already in.so when i unlocked the door it was locked from inside. i had go back to the service desk and get another room.

Great location, clean, excellent service at check-in. Arrived at room and there was no toilet paper, called down and some was brought up immediately. We stayed two nights. The first night I called and asked for more towels to which I was told I’d have to come get them. I was already ready for bed, so decided to wait til the morning. I went to the front desk the next morning and was told housekeeping would bring some up. Waited two hours, called down and asked for towels, was told there was a housekeeper on my floor to ask her for some. I asked her for some and she said she would have to go get some as they were being washed. Note, this was an hour before checkout. I called again, explained we needed to shower before checkout at 12:00. We never got towels. We had to use our clothing to dry off. Ridiculous! Paid way too much to have to do that.

The hotel was easy to find, quiet and within short driving time of many restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We arrived shortly before check in and our room wasn't ready and were asked to come back at 3 and it should be ready. It wasn't, but the clerk at the front desk upgraded us to a suite for the same rate to compensate us for the inconvenience. It was very much appreciated and unnecessary, I appreciate the level of dedication to getting us in a room after a long day of travel.

Our first room was not clean and in disrepair. The room we were moved to was not serviced during our entire 4 night stay - bed not made, towels not exchanged and trash not emptied. I told management I wanted my bill adjusted to reflect the lack of service and I was told the GM would call me - she did not, and also told I would need to take it up with Expedia since I had not booked directly with Hilton. So much for Hilton Honors advantages.

Disappointed This Time – Hope It Was Just a One-Off I’ve always stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clinton/Jackson and usually have a great experience, but this recent 4-night stay was disappointing. There was no full-service housekeeping during the stay — no sheet changes, no trash pickup, and we had to request towels every day. When we first arrived, the sliding bathroom door wouldn’t close, the phone didn’t work, and the air conditioning stopped working that night. There was also no shower gel in the room. Thankfully, the maintenance guy was prompt and very kind — he fixed the issues quickly. On the third day, I had to ask for towels twice. One older front desk staff member with short hair and glasses was not helpful and told me to go find the housekeeping staff myself. When I did, the housekeeper had an attitude and told me she was leaving for the day. Thankfully, a younger receptionist and the younger housekeeper (it was her first day) helped resolve the issue and was much more understanding. I understand some workers didn’t come in for housekeeping but no need for attitudes. On the morning of checkout, the two front desk ladies — I believe one was a manager — were both very sweet and apologetic. This was my first less-than-stellar experience at this location, and I hope it was just an off week. I’ve always enjoyed staying here in the past, and I hope things improve moving forward.

I love this property. This was the second time I stayed there. It is easily accessible from the interstate - very convenient. It is very well maintained.

Enjoyed breakfast.

Everything was great I enjoyed my stay. Only negative thing I can say is several of the outlets in the room were not pushed in all the way, and not working…but that was the only small issue I had. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lobby is well maintained. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7, but the morning we were there it was delayed until 7:30 (could be a big deal for those needing someone where to be). The tv didn’t have a guide and half the channels didn’t work. Staff was not rude but pretty unenthusiastic overall.

Everything including bottled water and breakfast was an exorbitant extra charge and there was no sign at the breakfast bar stating that it would be a charge. We will not be staying at another Hilton hotel in the future.

We had a large king room that was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The stay was nice except at check in, we were not informed that there was a cost for breakfast. My husband found out there was a man almost $13 pp charge AFTER beginning to eat. Should have been informed at check in. Other than that, the beds and pillows were comfy and the stay was fine.
