Don’t mistake this location for the one closer to the Chiba Station. It is about half a mile farther from the station, but totally walkable and easy to get to. Excellent hotel. Great location, close to a beautiful shrine. Close to grocery stores and surrounded by good eats. Highly recommend.

Room was a bit small and it smelled of smoke even though I had booked the non-smoking one. Still it was clean. The hotel offers all necessities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bath salts as rooms all have a bath tub and so on. The breakfast was good.

The hotel hallway was dingy, with a large unsightly stain on the carpet. The staff did not always provide towels (needed to ask them a couple of times) nor water that was supposed to be replenished daily. Although I requested a non-smoking room, the bathroom smelled like smoke and it was challenging to breath in there. Most hotels have a late-checkout allowance of about an hour or two. This hotel charges hourly for late checkout. The staff were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful. The location is convenient and central to Chiba City that is convenient for walking, public transit or taxi service. The status of washing machines provided at the hotel were viewable on the room TV so it was very convenient to plan our day around doing laundry.
