I would rate it 8/10 for my stat and the accommodation. We booked front room so car can be parked right at the front. There is (1) electric car charger. Which is plus. Room it self is nice, I don't find it noisy. There was a letter in the room apologising the bathroom has not been upgraded. I personally didn't see anything wrong with it. Yes some paint chips but it's roomy, clean, big, water temp and pressure is on point. For the price point, there is Nothing to apologise for. Bed is a spring bed and I am a light sleeper so when my partner moves at night. I will wake up as the whole bed moves. This is the only downside. There is alos an warming about the use of electricity, as it can not go over 16amp with the power point. If you have lots to charge or running a heater at night. Need to be careful but agaian, not an issue for me as we only charged phones. Mobile (telstra) cover in room is poor, we both only getting 1,2 bars of H. But if u go outside then it's fine. They do have WiFi. Food and general store next door, 1,2 mins walk. No too far from the island. Overall I am happy with the stay for the price we paid for. Would I stay AGAIAN? yes, but will try the new cabin at the back.

Hadn’t stayed here for about two years and wow. The room was not only clean, but appeared to be fully refurbished. Especially the bathroom which looked very modern. A spit system which was great, as the weather turned for the worst, so heating was greatly appreciated. Pub next door for excellent meals and easy access to the beach. If it’s all about location, then The Ocean View Motel has it. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

Great location opposite the beach & beside the pub. I visited reception twice to ask a question, but found it locked. I was told by another couple staying at the same place that our unit was #6. 1-5 are at the front, but we couldn't see or find our unit in the late (dark) afternoon. So some signage would help. NO complaints though once we settled. Nice comfy clean & quiet place. Would return again.
