I absolutely love this hotel. The staff was nice, room was so nice and clean and kitchen was an added bonus. The pool was clean. The Lobby was nice and they served a really great breakfast. I will definitely be back since my son goes to LSU and it is only about 15 min away. See you soon!!!!

Very impressive stay over the weekend. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very clean! Customer service was good aswell. No issues checking in or out. Has a very nice Breakfast spread as well! Only two negatives was the shower curtain broke on me we had to change rooms but it was the same kind of room and everything. Also, we was evacuated around 1 am due to a fire alarm. Never had this happen before. They said it was a false alarm. We think someone pulled it but we aren’t sure. But we would definitely stay again!

Superficially like all the other Tru, Home2,Homewood etc. hotels, looks nice, obviously recently built, staff was great. However, seriously flawed: - Hot breakfast looked good, but sausage patties were the driest I’ve ever had, almost inedible. The scrambled eggs looked like the normal eggs out of a box but were also surprisingly dry, though not as bad as the sausage. - the room doors are ridiculously heavy and hard to open - one of the elevators had buttons that required tons of pressure to push. The other had buttons that weren’t as bad but still much harder than normal. Also in both elevators only a few of the button lights worked so you couldn’t tell what had been pushed. - our room had a sign taped over the thermostat that told us to use the controls on the window unit, pretty bad for an almost-new hotel. Also their drop off area parking was really shallow so if a pickup was there loading/unloading it would be hard for a car parked in the spaces in front of the main entrance to get out (or in). Really poorly thought through, I used to like Marriot but think I’ll avoid this Towneplace chain.

The suite had a kitchen, lots of space for working. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast had multiple options. Only downside was the late night fire alarm (complete with flashing lights, screaming alarms and 3 firetrucks.) Happily there was no real emergency but no explanation was given. Desk staff initially tried to pretend it hadn't happened.

TV picture did not work and staff could not fix the issue. Elevator would not work going down to lobby so we had to use the stairs.

Staff was friendly and helpful during check-in. The fire pit area was a nice touch and great area to interact with other guests. We had to leave early so we missed breakfast but there were snacks sitting out that we were able to take with us. I would stay here again.

The first room we were given was dirty. It had not been vacuumed at all. There was a bug in the bed, toe nail clipping on the floor, some type of moth moving about on the floor and a big stain on the sheets. The second room was ok but not great. The room was vacuumed but did not feel clean. The curtains had some stains on them, the tv had a blue tint to it, couple of the towels, had some black stains on them, the facial tissue looked like someone pulled them all out and them replaced them, the chairs had crumbs on them and dried stains, the deadbolt did not lock, and that was not all of it. I would not recommend this place and will not stay again.

Very clean and cozy. In a safe area and check in was smooth. Free breakfast was on point with other free breakfasts. The rooms are very nicely setup. Large swivel tv, large shower. Highly recommend.

The girl at the front desk (I wish I had gotten her name) was so fantastic. Good customer service is extremely rare these days but she was so friendly, very professional and made sure we felt valued. She was there when we got in late and again the next morning. She deserves to go far and high in the company! Our room was really spacious and super clean. Loved the stove top and large fridge.

In town for a quick stop while traveling from Ga to Tx. Very smooth and refreshing check-in, Sonia was very helpful. Room was extremely modern with all the bells and whistles (full fridge, stove, sink & dishwasher). Room was very clean and smelling fresh. Room wasn’t very large but enough to maneuver around without a hassle. Bed was comfortable and I slept undisturbed all night. Only area for improvement I could think of was that the breakfast was lack luster, mainly the eggs & sausage tasted horrible, didn’t finish. Overall a great stay and will return if ever passing through.

My first night at the hotel was unpleasant; the room smelled like a dog, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn off. I called the front desk, and while the staff was nice and came to help, the AC issue persisted. Reluctantly, I stayed another night to avoid the hassle of finding a new place. Eventually, I checked out and moved to another hotel where the customer service was excellent, but I soon left because my room lacked a stove. As someone who loves to cook, this was a deal-breaker. I decided to return to the Townplace Hotel, hoping for a better experience. I checked into room 127 and wanted to ensure the stove worked before unpacking, so I went to Walmart to buy ingredients. Unfortunately, the stove was not operational. After cleaning my chicken, I was forced to use a rice cooker. The manager offered to transfer me to another room after I had prepared my meat, yet there was no apology for the inconvenience. Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing.

My stay was incredible! Ms. Shannon at the front desk was professional, knowledgeable and personable! All staff members were very helpful. This properity was very clean and smelled wonderful. There was always staff inside and out doing something in keeping the properity clean and welcoming. The room was spacious and offered more amenities than I expected. I will stay again and will recommend to others.

Check in was miserable. I had a confirmation number and a receipt for room i had already paid for. I get there and the hotel says the room was cancelled and they didnt have one for me and couldnt do anything until a GM got there an hour or so later. Fortunately someone else called and cancelled another room and we got that one. Second or third time this has happened at this same property. Other than that the hotel is always nice

Booked my stay with this facility 5 weeks in advanced. called them to make sure they could accommodate the request, and they said it would not be a problem. After arrival we found out they give the room to another person. This room handicapped with roll in shower was the only room to accommodate the handicap needs. They offered a room with handicapped tub, but my wife cannot lift her legs to get in the tub. So I was left trying to find a room with a lot of events going on in the area. And on top of this they gave a room with no handicap accessories and expected me to stay in there. Worst place I have ever stayed and will not book another Marriot owned facility.
