The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and maintained. We needed towels and washcloths frequently, front desk would answer and send them right up! The only thing I did NOT like was the kiddos wanted to go to the pool, however it was disgusting. It was cloudy and milky, the filter clearly was NOT on. The children were very disappointed. I complained to the front desk but I don’t know if anything was done about it. We never went back to check, but either way that pool needed days to be filtered. It was beyond gross! They did NOT get in the pool.

What i loved: large gated pet area complete with doggy waste bags and trash cans, free breakfast, complimentary valet, the staff was very nice, the grounds were beautiful and well kept with landscaping. The elevators, hallways were all well kept. Not my favorite: the parking garage was attached to the property and difficult to get in and out of.when my family stayed it seemed to be pretty busy so one night we weren't able to park in the garage at all. Luckily the complimentary valet parked the vehicle at on offsite location.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Awesome parking garage with free valet, pool is nice and clean, breakfast was great, service was friendly, and loved the bar. The rooms were comfortable and clean, loved the kitchen, and the hot water never ran out in the tub. Definitely would stay again. The neighborhood around us was a great area and the houses were all well taken care of. Theres a great downtown area juat a couole miles away and felt very safe the whole trip. Only about 5 miles from NY line and about 10 min from walmart etc. Awesome experience!

Parking was sub par. Garage was small and not easy to navigate. Garage fills up fast and no signs when it is full causing multiple vehicles to log jam.

Overall, my stay was fantastic. There were a few hiccups. My family and I specifically choose hotels that have pools. We got in late on check in day, but still managed to have an hour left until the pool closed. We got there and first thing I want to note is that the pool was pretty dirty. I kept feeling hair get caught on my toes. That was a little disappointing and downright yucky. Around 9:52 one of the staff members came into the pool exclaiming in a fairly aggressive way that it was time to get out. The pool was not closed for another 8 minutes, and I promised my son we could stay until exactly 10. The employee was persistent about us getting out, and so we reluctantly did. I understand he wanted to clean and get home, but then closing time should be earlier. Some amazing features in this hotel- free continental breakfast that was really yummy, free garage parking, surprisingly amazing views, and a washer/ dryer. With the exception of the pool incident, I left very happy and plan on booking again for my summer trip to NYC.

Affordable and very well kept. The breakfast was great and the pool was warm and clean. We’ll be coming back for sure.

I really loved how the parking garage elevator brings you right to your floor. The bed was comfy and food options were good.

Surrounding hotels were out of power, this hotel had - great! Our room was more of an apartment which was great for the family! Good parking garage, great service desk - but the cleaning could do a better job. Bed sofa had used linnen, there was food in the kitchen sink that smelled bad when we got to our room and there was a tape from a user shirt on the back of the bathroom door meaning the cleaners didn’t clean behind the door or they’d seen it. With this said, I’d still stay here again!

The hotel smelled wonderful when you walked in. It was a little odd with it being 2 different hotels in one place. You have to use your card to get into the garage to park, which is a very short distance from the entrance. There are elevators from the parking lot to get into the building, which you also need your room key card for as well. The room was spacious and had plenty of room for our family. I am a bit more cautious since Covid and disinfect everything when I arrive. The main areas were definitely clean, but the remotes were gross with dried up stuff on, the doors had what was either blood or ketchup on it, and one of the fridge shelves were not clean at all. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great with a good variety. The breakfast area where the food is kept is quite small and gets crowded quickly. There is plenty of seating to seat and eat, but we brought ours up to our room to eat. The pool was a descent size, it’s on the Hampton Inn side of the building but is used by both hotels. The hotel was very quiet, which was nice. The beds were comfortable. There is not much at all around the immediate area. There is a Starbucks within walking distance. Most everything is a drive. It’s about a 10 min drive to get to the American Dream mall. Overall, it is a nice hotel.

I Love the hotel Housekeepers excelente and front desk agents amazing just a few details when came in the room pillows and sheets was stained but they moved fast and then in the middle of the night the toilet was clogged water overfloated to the room other that everythiing was great

At first glance, the hotel seemed very nice. The room (2 queen suite) was a great size for our family. The room wasn’t terribly unclean, but I did find on old bloody bandaid on the carpet which lead me to believe no one vacuumed prior to our stay, which made me wonder how clean everything else was. The air conditioner didn’t work well in our room. The living room area was cool, however the bedroom was very warm. We asked maintenance to come look at the unit twice and they acknowledged that there was an issue with it. They attempted to fix it both times, but both times, the living room remained cool and the bedroom was warm. It was very uncomfortable to sleep the entirety of our stay. I believe that after the unsuccessful attempts, the manager or front staff could have offered us a different room or some type of discount on our stay. Patrons are expected to be charged in the event they leave the room in a manner that is unacceptable, however the business doesn’t offer anything to their clientele when their rooms/experience is subpar. The continental breakfast was not great. Odd choices for breakfast offerings, especially for families with kids, there were moldy bagels; it wasn’t the best I’ve had, especially for the cost of the stay. The pool was ok. The first day, it was nice, but the few days after were lack luster. The water looked as though it was not clean, it was very murky. The floors were very slippery. I saw a few kids slip and fall. Overall- not impressed.

The nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My teenage son pulled out the couch pull out bed and there was a used condom on the mattress a prime indication the room had not been properly cleaned I will NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel to ANYONE.

Self parking couldn’t be easier, accessible with room key,very safe. Quite noisy on interstate side but worth it for the view. Breakfast ok. Stayed here a few times before and it's good but this time the room had no hot water at check in. They fixed it within an hour though. Rooms are noisy overall. HVAC sounds like a helicopter and there was banging coming from somewhere all night, everynight. This was new compared the the previous stays. Breakfast is great and well stocked every day. Location is great. Near airports, NYC, the highways, etc.

The room was spacious. The only drawback was the notice of the HVAC system and the slippery bathtub which made it exceedingly dangerous to shower. The staff was very friendly. We would stay there on future trips.

My stay was good very nice place, the curtains were too light so the sun was shining in too early.

This is a very nice hotel. Very clean and the rooms are spacious. Full kitchen and the pull out couch were a plus. Both of my kids were able to have their own space and bed.

studio suite was not as nice as a one bedroom suite

Good overall with a very good breakfast selection and free tea and coffee. The pillows were too soft with no alternatives in the room.

Overall, this Homewood suites was very comfortable. Kids had an amazing time. There was a separate area for lounging separate bedroom, full-size kitchen. Only small complaint that we have is that it is not fully kid friendly as far as the shower. There is only a shower head so with small kids it’s very difficult. Other than that hotel staff was very friendly hotel lobby area was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very fresh & tasty. Overall we had an amazing time.

Wi-Fi is non existent. Couldn’t work in the room or even make a call.

The staff was exceptional.

Room was nice and clean and had what we needed. Staff wasn’t as helpful as we would liked. No one cleaned our room even when we asked . And we asked for some towels and they said they were bringing some up and they never came so that was a bummer

I booked a Manhattan view room months in advance as a surprise for my fiancé on our wedding night right before our honeymoon. When we arrived, they told us someone else had taken the room. No real apology, no solution — just ruined plans on one of the most important days of our lives. Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend.

Great service. They let me check in early. The front desk person was friendly and efficient, she got me in my room quickly.

During my stay, the internet service was abruptly interrupted without any prior notice, and although they said it would be fixed quickly, I was unable to use the internet for two full days. Additionally, on the days I requested housekeeping, the service was never properly provided. In terms of service quality and customer response, this has been the worst experience I’ve had at any hotel I’ve stayed in. I won’t recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

When we arrived the fr9nt desk was having trouble confirming our room was clean and ready. After several minutes on waiting on a confirmation from thr housekeeping team, they graciously just upgraded our stay to a room that was ready. I appreciated the free upgrade and quick pivot without prompt or request from me.

We had a wonderful stay. The entire staff are great team. The General manager is so good. We didn't shut off the light in our car so it couldn't start in the morning. I went to her office and told her, she quickly called the engineer to come and jump-start our car for us. We were all happy especially my kids because theu didn't want to miss their new york experience. Good Hotel

Made a reservation for my family and I (2 babies under the age of 2 and my 6 year old along with my husband and I) and even called the hotel hours before check in to let them know that we would be arriving late. Staff told me that it would be okay as long as we arrive before 12am. We got to the hotel at 11pm after a long 2hr 30min drive only for them to then tell us that they’re overbooked although I called them at 10am for confirmation. They sent us to their other hotel which did NOT compare to this hotel at all and looked horrible. My husband went to the front desk and they were told they never received any request for a stay by the previous hotel leaving my kids, husband and I with nowhere to stay. We traveled from Connecticut to Pennsylvania thinking to spend the night at this hotel in NJ all for this to occur and had to drive 3 more hours back home to CT when this all could have been avoided if someone called to tell us that they’re overbooked or the staff could have told us when i called earlier in the day.

Close to MetLife stadium and easy access to highway

Overall we had a great experience with our stay. Location was convenient to get to multiple other places. Staff was very friendly and the property inside and out was very clean.

Hotel is great, minor issue at check in (2 rooms on seperate floors) fixed it the next day without us asking. Hotel clean, quiet, breakfast was good. Staff was kind & helpful. Garage parking for guests, super convenient. Super close to highway (not loud). 30 mins to NYC (without NYC price). Area around hotel seemed safe, left a few times to get food.

This was a great stay for our family. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The free buffet is a wonderful addition. There is valet parking. Easy commute to NYC by car or express buss nearby.

The staff starting with Miss Brendal was vry customer servic oriented. She and her saff,went out of their way to make myself,brother and his wife feelvery welcomed. We had a family emergency ,and they went over andabove to make arrangements for our stay. Breakfast buffet was clean,varied from oatmeal,real scrambled eggs,pastries,yogurt,cereal,Bacon,and even to red velvet waffle batter.Highly recommend this hotel.

This was one of our favorite stays during our trip. Property is beautiful, super clean and staff was welcoming. Breakfast menu was good; different menu than most continental breakfast offered in most places. I would definitely book again if we come back to the area.
