Beautifully renovated ancient building right on the harbor. Great location, but the many steep stairs were challenging with luggage, and the restaurants and bars below were loud at night.

A most enjoyable stay in this loft room which was clean and comfortable, although with 2 medium sized cases there was not a lot of room to manoeuvre around. We were only there to sleep and shower. Lovely clean and modern bathroom. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I appreciated a staff member who carried my case up to reception… no lift. Breakfast was good with a small number of various options to choose from. Great location for selecting dining options. Easy 40 min bus ride into Dubrovnik. Lovely swimming and beautiful walks around the town.

There was nobody to meet me at the facility in order that I could get my paperwork done so I could get reduced parking. The main complaint I have is once inside there was a lot of mould on the ceiling in the washroom which affected my breathing for the night .would not recommend this place

Accommodation lives up to all its positive reviews. It is ideally situated on the waterfront in the Old Town. We were traveling by car and chose to stay in Cavtat rather than Dubrovnik because of parking concerns. Even in Cavtat the only viable parking is at the Municipal lot and at $30/ 24 hours, not cheap, but this worked particularly well for us. Cavtat is a charming town also entertaining many tourists and can be used as a base to visit Dubrovnik, either by ferry (already running several times each day in May) or by bus. We had no problem walking our carry-on cases from the car park. Make sure you connect with the owner for directions and arrival time.

If you are looking for a perfect beach community on the Adriatic, this is it. Right out of a romcom movie. Be aware, this is in a pedestrian only area (except for local vehicles). If you take a taxi or uber, they will drop you off several blocks over cobblestone roads from this small bed and breakfast. It is up a long stone staircase from the street overlooking the harbor.

We were looking for a place to stay overnight in Cavtat as we had a very early flight to catch the following morning. Villa Faggioni located on Cavtat's vehicle-free waterfront was the perfect find. The room was small, but spotlessly clean and modern looking. Check-in/check out procedures were simple in large part because of the enormous attention to detail provided by Nora who maintained regular electronic communication with us via Whatsapp text messaging prior to our stay, providing us with detailed walking directions from the bus station, check-in procedure etc. She was amazingly responsive and took care of everything including arranging early morning transportation to the airport and responding to a late call for help when we discovered we had forgotten to take our room key with us when we went out for dinner. In all, the B&B was excellent value for the price and the perfect place for a short stay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Overall, this property has a lot of potential, but falls short in some substantial areas given we paid the same price for other properties this trip. I will say that communication with the reception desk was excellent via WhatsApp and she was eager to set up a transfer service to/from the airport directly to the B&B. This is nice if you don’t /can’t walk the 3 blocks from the bus stop as they are in a very nice pedestrian-only area. The two biggest issue we had was there was significant mold in the bathroom that needs to be addressed. Additionally, there were no beach towels, blankets for the bed (just a sheet and decorative throw) or spare pillows. When we got in after dinner and realized this, there was no one at the reception or number to call to help with the issue. As we were only there one night, I didn’t bother to ask in the morning for them to fix it. Definitely a good place, just needs some attention to detail to make it worth the money. BTW, the owners run a restaurant nearby (where you get breakfast) so they definitely know the hospitality business.

Wonderful place to stay. Nora contacted me ahead of time and arranged a transfer. My room was clean, comfy, close to a gorgeous walk, swimming spots, restaurants and everything worked perfectly. The only thing I would do differently is to definitely go with a room with a view as my window opened up to a restaurant balcony. Lovely stay, thank you.

Great location, cute modern room, good amenities. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.

I had very high expectations for this B&B -- the photos made it look spacious and open, but unfortunately the place is actually very small. Rooms are tight and feel claustrophobic. The walls are very thin -- you can clearly hear conversations from the room next door. The roof terrace is nothing like the photos -- just a little open space, shared with some other apartments up the hill. The breakfast is OK (a little confusing, but OK) -- though my orders got mixed up both mornings. The one redeeming factor is location -- you can walk downstairs, to the promenade, or take the ferry to Dubrovnik from right across the B&B.

No reception, so I couldn’t get iron to iron my clothes. There was no blanket, just a sheet, so when I got cold at night, had to cover up with bath towels. Overall, great location but would not stay there again.

We had to cancel our trip to Dubrovnik because my husband had an emergency cardiac catheterization and was not able to travel. We provided Villa Faggioni a letter from the cardiologist and they still would not give us a refund. All of our other bookings kindly refunded our payments. Kindness in a very stressful situation goes a long way. Think twice before a reservation at Villa Faggioni.

Excellent location with lots of dining options. Using the hotels choice of transportation made arriving a breeze. Everything was perfect with a couple of issues. As a solo traveler I prefer to meet with someone at the property when I check in, this did not happen. There was no information on the room accessories. I(bathroom floor heater). My deadbolt didn’t work and there was no note or indication that it was broken. I attempt to get it to work for several moments each day till I asked manager/owner. The most important of all was someone entered my room even when I had a Do Not Disturb sign on door. When I asked about it, all I got was a shrug of shoulders and, “I don’t know who would do that”. I find that a little alarming. Overall, I would stay here again but would clearly make sure someone could personally check you in and get a tour of the room and clarify your privacy needs.

Our hostess Nora provided detailed instructions and was a huge help in arranging transportation from the airport to our hotel (especially helpful since we arrived late at night 10 pm). Air conditioned room was wonderful after being out and about. The delicious breakfast (at restaurant Zino) is included and had many choices including traditional English breakfast, fresh fruit, omelets, and more. We loved jogging/walking on the trails and shopping at the local stores. Cavtat is an amazing place and the Villa Faggioni hotel is in the heart of the town. Loved it!

My arrival in Croatia was made very easy due to the service provided by Boutique B&B Villa Faggioni. In advance of my arrival, I was contacted to arrange an airport pick up. I was provided with maps and advice regarding the location. I regret I could stay just one night but hope to return in the future

La experiencia ha sido horrible. Mala comunicación para poder llegar al sitio, no contestaban al móvil y lo explicaban todo muy rápido y sin consideración. A las 6 de la mañana hubo un corte de luz y se encendió en la habitación una luz que no era posible apagarse ya que era como una luz led, fatal ya que no nos permitió dormir más, además de que no podíamos cargar ningún dispositivo ya que no había luz y no nos daban ningún tipo de información de cuándo podía volver. Al no haber luz, el restaurante que se encarga del desayuno que va incluido nos decía que tenían las cocinas cerradas y no nos podías poner desayuno. Llamamos bastantes veces al número que aparece para contactar con el alojamiento y no nos respondieron y cuando lo hicieron no nos dieron solución. Tras mucho insistir, el del restaurante accedió a ponernos un café y una tortilla, todo desde el desdén y con una mala educación ya que los perjudicados éramos nosotros que habíamos pagado el desayuno includio. En definitiva, el trato malísimo y malísima atención ante un imprevisto. Desde luego no recomendaría a nadie este alojamiento. Estuvimos 10 días Croacia, y en todos los sitios nos trataron genial y con mucha amabilidad pero este nos dejó un sabor muy amargo ya que nos despedíamos del país ese día, una pena.

I wish I had stayed longer! This spot was amazing and as a solo female traveler I felt very safe in Cavtat. The hotel manager was very welcoming. The views, the water and so many places to eat and relax. I would love to visit again and stay longer. It was very easy to grab ferries to different areas from right in front of the hotel. I took a small water ferry to Dubrovnik.

De ligging van deze prachtige B&B ligt aan een mooie boulevard dichtbij restaurants en eventueel ferry om naar Dubrovnik te varen. Ook de buslijn is op z’n 5 min lopen. Ideale plek! Enige nadelige punt is dat de vliegtuigen vaak laag overvliegen. Ivm dat de luchthaven redelijk dichtbij gelegen is .

Mycket trevligt hotel med bästa läge. Fint inredda rum och skön säng. Väldigt tyst trots det centrala läget. Bästa hotellfrukosten vi hade på fyra veckor. Personalen är serviceminded och trevliga. Båtar till Dubrovnik utanför hotellet. Nära till buss och taxi.Hit kommer vi gärna igen.

We had a wonderful one night stay in Cavtat at the start of our trip. Communication was great, directions/photos for checking in was easy, and the hotel is in the perfect location in the center of town. The included breakfast was good & provided various options. The menu tells you what you are entitled to, and anything more would be a charge. It was small and quiet and just what we needed to start our trip!

Das Boutique B&B Villa Faggioni liegt in idealer Lage, um Cavtat zu erkunden. Hält man sich an die Wegbeschreibung, ist die Unterkunft leicht zu finden. Mein Zimmer war modern, sauber und wirkte frisch eingerichtet; im Bad standen zudem hochwertige Pflegeprodukte von „Rituals“ bereit. Die Kommunikation mit Nora verlief jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert, besonders über WhatsApp, und auch der kontaktlose Check-in funktionierte reibungslos. Das Frühstück wurde im Restaurant „Zion“ serviert – das Omelett war mir etwas zu fettig, aber das sehe ich eher als persönliche Geschmacksfrage und nicht als Kritik an der gesamten Auswahl. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten sowie das B&B gerne weiterempfehlen.

Close to the airport but you feel like you’re at a vacation destination. We had an early flight and they arranged for a breakfast to go (we left before their meal service) and a ride. If we’re not get back near Dubrovnik we will stay here and take the ferry to the city!

Such a wonderful room right on the bay. Breakfast was provided by the restaurant downstairs, Riva, order anything off the menu!! Staff were very helpful. Cavtat is lovely- would like to return here.
