We enjoyed the privacy of the room and pleasantness of the staff. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was above our expectations. the parking was close to the room and the area was quiet. If we are in the area again I would choose to stay at the Newfound Inn again.

There was melted ice in the ice bucket when we arrived. Rug had not been vacuumed from previous guests. Fire alarm in room started to beep from low battery, so it was removed. Room smelled musty. We stayed for two days and there was no freshen up service. You can’t say you get what you paid for because it was a almost 200.00/nt. with taxes

The staff are as friendly as could be! Helpful, and versed in local amenities. The floors and wall are very thin! I could hear a neighbour breaking wind! When the kids wake up in adjacent rooms, everyone on the floor knows it. Well worth what we paid. No nonsense, no creeps and no bugs!

It’s was crazy when we got there he was upset we booked it with you and then he said we didn’t say my wife couldn’t walk very well so he mad us go up 4 stairs to get in then in the morning I went down to the front desk to ask a question and I find out if we went down to hall from the front desk my wife didn’t have to use the stairs it was all on the same level he mad us go outside to us the outside door that had stairs it was raining and we got wet trying to get my wife up the stairs with no hand rails she almost fell it breaks my heart knowing someone can treat somebody that has Ms or any other disability I would like my money back only because of how my wife was treated he wouldn’t be treating people like that and get away with it I’m thinking of calling the Newfoundland news hope you will help me with this I love your service it’s truly amazing I I’m new with the phone and have problems using it but you’re app makes it so easy I love it hope to have you’re support in this man’s unsalable behaviour truly appreciated please do something with this man

The location is excellent for touring the Avalon. Easy to get to everywhere. Some areas of the hotel were a little tired and worn. Bathroom was clean and was recently upgraded. A/C was a challenge to work with. We had a room on the upper floor and it had lots of space and a view of the Bay a few blocks away. Didn't have much interaction with the staff but what we did the people, like all over Newfoundland, are great. Timmies across the road too for those early mornings.

The staff was wonderful, helpful above and beyond. One thing which struck us is that there were no paper tissues in the room, no glass in the washroom (for tooth brushing). But a good night's sleep and a Timmies just across the street.
