I couldn't tell from the picture, but this is an old-school motel where you park your car right outside your room and have an exterior entrance. Furnishings and bathroom were very dated, although reasonably clean. Exceptionally noisy wall-unit airconditioner/heater. At 3 am, were awakened by a loud cellphone conversation outside our room.

Parking and being able to see your vehicle was convenient. I did not like the breakfast food or that housekeeping never gave me new shampoo or conditioner each day when cleaning the room, resulting in bar soap on the hair. Overall the room was clean and the bed was decent for the price.

Would have gave it 5 stars but could of had better interior lighting. Clean, comfortable,air conditioner worked excellent good parking,had a good feel about security and friendly desk staff, light breakfast but has a dairy queen next door

This is a very clean hotel in a decent neighborhood. The price was great and the staff was friendly and efficient with an average breakfast. They seem to be doing some renovations but it is not really run down, as you might expect for the price.

The room smelled of smoke really bad. The sign in the room stated non-smoking room, but it was terrible. The second night the smell wasn’t as bad…possibly the neighboring room had an active smoker and it passed through the ventilation system or walls etc. The included breakfast was mediocre.

The room was fifthy, my boyfriend pulled covers back the covers to the bed and was hit with a pungent smell of urine and other human fluids. The bathroom floor was so dirty my flip flops would stick to the floor as I walked on it. Left in the middle of the night. Manager Chris refuse to give us a refund, stating he couldn’t smell it and perhaps we imagine the awful smell. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

The property is run down and in a state of disrepair. The rug near the bed hasn't been vacuumed in a long time and is disgusting. You get what you pay for everything worked but the blanket on the bed didnt look clean. The carpet felt greasy. The shower curtain was yellow. Weird smell and the bed was not comfortable felt like it was very old.

It was so gross, there was white pebbles of some kind under the bed, toilet paper under the bed, and a crumbled up paper towel with stuff on it under the bed. The shower was disgusting, and there was dirt all over the carpet and bathroom floors. We went and stayed at a different hotel to sleep because we were so uncomfortable with how dirty it was. And after all of that we still couldn’t get a refund which was ridiculous. Don’t stay here. I understand this is a old motel and am perfectly fine with that. But I wouldn’t pay a penny to stay in filth. Even if it’s a cheap place and you get what you pay for it still should be clean at the least.

Carpeting was filthy and unvacummed. Over six spiders along walls with webs (different sizes and species) The bed was a king with four throw pillows instead of actual pillows. Room smelled like mildew. I was looking forward to a hot bath after traveling… the bathroom was renovated with no spigot and I was too tired to fill up tub with the shower head that had minimal pressure. Front window drapes were old and broken. We were on first floor and had to pin them closed with my hair clips. We left early. Only stayed one night instead of two and paid for different hotel. The property was what i expected based on the cost. I was pleasantly surprised at the room and the condition it was in. It was clean though the walls are quite thin and you can hear everything next door. It served me adequately and I would stay there again if I need a reasonable place for a week.

The guest room that I was in was #114, which was on the west side of the building. The room and bathroom was clean to very clean. The air conditioning worked well as the windows faced the west and it was 99-degrees at the time of my check-in. My only difficulty was having to wait for hot water for taking a shower. It took 5-minutes before the water was hot enough to enjoy a shower. Prior to that the water was mild to lukewarm. So, I turned on the water to wait for it to get to the desired temperature before taking a shower. This was just a little frustrating but, not unmanageable. The mattress was very comfortable and that made for an enjoyable night of rest and sleep.

The person at the desk at any hotel should never say the guest’s room number out loud. I asked, “don’t say my room number”, and when handed my key, the person at the desk said my number and there was another person, not behind the desk, that I don’t know who they were, was in ear shot, and that’s why the desk personnel is never supposed to say the room number out loud.

Overwhelming smell of cigarettes throughout the room. I could look past the dinginess if it weren’t for the cigarette smell. Front desk is not staffed 24/7 nor was the emergency phone answered when called after multiple guests had their room keys shutoff accidentally.

The room was simple and clean. It was exactly what we needed for the trip. The staff was phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. We really appreciated their extra level of hospitality, making us extra coffee every morning for our thermos! It’s the small effort that makes a big difference.

There was no attendant to check me in. When i called the number for emergencies and late check ins it was not manned and went straight to voice mail. I do not understand how any hotel can opperate with out 24 hour staffing and i can not imagine that it is very safe for the people staying there. God forbid an actual emergency arose that needed the hotel staffs acess key or something.

This is an unpretentious motel that is on the edge of a quiet neighborhood. Continental breakfast, but comfortable beds. If you are just needing a room to stay, this is only 5 min from Harrisburg but very inexpensive.

Wonderful stay. Significantly updates from last stay. Will be my choice for lodging when visiting family in central Pa. Numerous food and drink options close. Ever Grain Brewery and Noir less then a mile away.

This is a very clean hotel in a decent neighborhood. The price was great and the staff was friendly and efficient with an average breakfast. They seem to be doing some renovations but it is not really run down, as you might expect for the price.

We stopped here unplanned, for one night during a roadtrip and were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly welcome, clean room. Nice linens and shower. On a busy street wjich is good if you're travelling. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would stay again if passing through.

Older property in need of upgrades, but it worked for what I needed. Stay was not comfortable, but it worked for the weekend. Carpets need cleaning and vacuuming, and I had to unplugged lamps in order to charge my phone. To reach the toilet you had to go up a step, same for the shower. A good coat of paint in the bathroom would have worked wonders. Chair by the desk needs screws tightened, looks like no one checks on these types of things. Bed was old but sheets seemed clean. Neighborhood which backs up to the hotel was a nice place to take a walk, which I did every evening. Restaurant next to hotel, and if you have a car there are several places to eat a short drive away. Hotel mentions breakfast, but it was mostly yogurt, waffles (which ran out on my first morning - not refilled), toast, and coffee or tea. Cereal in dispensers, but I didn't notice any milk for them on either of my three mornings there. No juice or ice water. Staff was very nice, both the overnight crew and morning folks.

Parking and being able to see your vehicle was convenient. I did not like the breakfast food or that housekeeping never gave me new shampoo or conditioner each day when cleaning the room, resulting in bar soap on the hair. Overall the room was clean and the bed was decent for the price.

The hotel was old but relatively clean. The person at the front was very nice and professional. There really isn’t anything at the continental breakfast. I’m guessing since people live here they don’t want to provide them breakfast 7 days a week. No issues with the area and I was never worried about safety.

Aging hotel. Don’t get your hopes to high. Very limited breakfast options at best. A phantom waffle maker meaning it’s well install and on display, but when it comes breakfast time it’s stangly out of order.

Fairly quiet but almost isolated room with door that didnt lock well. Poor room lighting. Nonsmoking but smelled weed everywhere. Coffee ok. Yogurt good (that's all I took).

Perfect for what we needed. Great mid-point between Gettysburg and Hershey. Clean beds, clean bathroom, easy parking, safe neighborhood. Breakfast covered the basics and did the trick. Staff was easy going. We’d definitely stay again.
