Pro: Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet (Safe, Fön, Wasserkocher) und waren sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist super, da es zum einen kontinental, aber auch typisch regional ist. Sehr lecker! Mit einem kleinen Fußmarsch ist eine S-Bahn-Haltestelle erreichbar, von der man alles in der Stadt erreicht. Contra: Wir hatten als 2 "normale" Personen ein Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer, weshalb die Zimmer-Einrichtung ein bisschen komisch war. Ist aber sehr wahrscheinlich nur ein Einzelfall gewesen. Zudem ist ein 1,4m Bett mit einer Bettdecke für 2 Personen ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Parken für 22€ / Tag am Hotel (Stand Jan.24) war uns dann doch ein bisschen sehr viel. Auch wenn es für Münchner Verhältnisse vielleicht nicht unüblich ist.

Die Betten war sehr hart und unbequem. Das Frühstück war immer sehr voll. Das Personal hat nur Englisch gesprochen. Bei den Fahrstühlen hat man auch immer sehr lange gewartet. Mit Treppe konnte man nicht hoch ins Zimmer da die Türen zur Etage verschlossen waren. Das Parkhaus war sehr dreckig und Tauben saßen auf jedem zweiten Auto, sodass alles voller Taubenscheiße und sogar Eier, der Tauben, war. Auf dem Parkplatz der draußen zur Verfügung stand, stand das Auto neben einem Obfachlosenplatz. Dafür dann 25€/ Tag zu verlangen ist schon unverschämt.

Das Frühstück entsprach nicht dem Standard. Keine Butter, Brötchen vergriffen, 30 Minuten Wartezeit auf einen Kaffee, Brot noch gefroren, kein veganes Angebot.Trotz mehrfacher Bitte die defekte Kaffeemaschine zu überprüfen, passierte gar nichts.Aufschnitt war nicht appetlich angerichtet. Im Zimmer herschte ein unangenehmer Geruch, der aus dem teilweise verunreinigtem Teppich zu kommen schien. Die Toilettenbürste war aufgrund eines durchgerosteten Griffs unbenutzbar. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht ausschalten. Auch etwas schade fanden wir, dass ausschließlich englisch gesprochen wurde und wir somit nicht alles vortragen konnten.

Whole room would get a severe smell of sewer gas. Bathroom fan was set to always on. Clearly they know about the issue and this is their fix. It would be so bad at points that you’d throw up. Pillows were about 6 years past their life, felt like they are putting cotton balls in them to keep them alive. I told the front desk of both of these issues, they just said ok and smiled. Clearly they don’t care about the customer. I mean even an “oh I’m so sorry your stay wasn’t pleasant.” It’s clearly living up to the Hampton Inn name.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly- tissues and someone’s socks left under the sofa bed. The tea tray contents were scattered on the table like the cleaner hadn’t bothered to tidy it up from the previous guest. Breakfast was standard - nothing special

Zimmer war nicht sauber! Haare im Bett und Dusche dreckig. Haben um ein neues Zimmer gebeten und bekommen aber da war die Dusche auch dreckig und das Zimmer war nur halb möbliert. Das Zimmer hat schlecht gerochen und man hat sich null Wohlgefühl! Der Frühstücksbereich war so klein das man sich gar nicht drehen konnte wenn so viele Leute da waren. Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt so das viele Leute keinen Platz gefunden haben. Rezeptionspersonal nicht freundlich und konnten vorwiegend nur englisch sprechen was für uns kein Problem war aber für das ältere Pärchen was auch ein checken wollte. Wir hatten 2 Mächte gebucht sind aber nach einer Nacht abgereist weil es sooooo schlimm war! Geht gar nicht.

Sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel. Die Klimaanlage unserer Bekannten funktionierte nicht und sie bekamen umgehend ein anderes Zimmer. Gute Lage (neben S-Bahn). Gut gedämmte Fenster (man hört keinen Verkehr). Außerdem ein schöner Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Kommen gerne wieder...👍

Excellent hotel. Is out of the hustle and bustle of Munich downtown. Wonderful access to transportation (MVG) direct to the Central Station in 10 minutes or less. Restaurants and Supermarkets really close by. I have stayed there before and love it. Only one downside, should have a mini fridge.

Came over to visit friends and sightsee for the weekend. Great location for trains, trams and buses. Breakfast had a great choice and the staff were friendly. Sadly the first night of 3 we had a room right over the railway tracks and although we said the aircon wasn't working they insisted it would be turned on centrally but nothing happened. We ended up with the window open all night with track maintenance going on until at least 3am under our window. We didn't have a good night. Day 2 they moved us, front of the building and working aircon. Much better! Bed/mattress was too hard for us though (both rooms), so it wasn't a great sleep over the weekend. We enjoyed ourselves all the same.

The bed was hard as a rock! Every time you moved it made so much noise! We asked to switch but were told they were all the same. We put down a 2nd comforter to sleep on top of so our backs wouldn’t ache. Breakfast was not great. Fruit salad has slimy watermelon in it each day.

Situated a 5 min walk from Donnersbergerbrücke station via steps to the side of the hotel, so was very handy for frequent trains to the centre. Twin room was lovely as beds were small doubles, with tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer/safe. One big problem was a lack of heat - room was so cold despite ringing down twice & staff saying they'd "reset" it.....read similar in other reviews. On the 3rd request staff did offer us a heater and additional duvet which really helped. Wouldn't stay again though because of the cold room. Breakfast was excellent with cereal, cold meats, fruit, pastries, scrambled egg/bacon/sausage/beans and a waffle maker. Hotel was excellent value with lovely ladies on reception. Very handy as on the direct line to the airport via either S1 or S8 trains.

The staff were super accommodating and nice. The rooms themselves were ridiculously hot and uncomfortable and the noise from the outside area into the room was unbearable. It was also hard to get taxis to get anywhere from that location.

The room is pretty small for 2 people but it’s very close to Oktoberfest. For the AC you will have to call the front desk to get it to work which is inconvenient. Would recommend getting a bigger room if you’re traveling with 2 guests.

Éramos em 3 no quarto. O sofá cama onde minha filha dormiu era péssimo, dava para sentir as molas. O café da manhã muito bom! Bem localizado, o tram passa erm frente e vai direto para estação central, ideal para fazer bate e volta pelo país.

Wir waren bereits in anderen Hotels dieser Kette und daher recht vorfreudig auf unseren Aufenthalt. Leider ist dieses Hotel wesentlich schlechter als die anderen! Das Personal ist zwar freundlich, aber kann leider nur auf schlechtem englisch Kommunizieren - für mich ein no-go in Deutschland. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, allerdings funktionierte bei uns die Klimaanlage nicht und das Fenster lässt sich auch nicht öffnen, was bei 30 Grad echt ungemütlich wurde. Enttäuschend war auch, dass das Zimmer während der 4 Nächte nur 1x gereinigt wurde. Heißt, wir haben unser Bett selbst gemacht. Das Frühstück war leider auch enttäuschend, das Personal überfordert und hat mich eher an eine Kantine erinnert. Auswahl auch mager im vergleich zu den anderen Hotels der Kette. Positiv ist die Lage direkt an der Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Binnen 10 Minuten gelangte man mit Linie 19 in die Innenstadt. Parkgebühren von 25€ pro Tag empfande ich als Wucher!

We are returning customers and were disappointed. Had to move room due to faulty toilet. Kettle was missing from room. Replacement kettle faulty too. Room was not cleaned and we had chase the matter up. Manger told us it was missed due to high volume of guests checking out!!! Our request for turning the air conditioning fan off had to be chased up. The worst thing was that there was a dead bird lying at the side of the main entrance. This was pointed out to reception staff but was still there the following day and so we had to pointed out again. Only then was it removed. We really did not expect this standard in the Hilton.

Hotels.com cancelled my booking without notice and we ended up waiting at the hotel reception talking to 3 agents asking me to wait for few hours for them to resolve. By the time we checked in the room, the telephone was not working and the sofa bed no ready.

Our entire stay experience at the Hampton by Hilton Munich City West, was exceptional from the check-in time to the check-out, the personnel was helpful, professional and friendly, always asking if we where ok, and if we needed anything. The room was super quiet, finally a hotel were we slept, also big and clean room. Close to München HBF, as well as local city transportation. We definitely will return to this great hotel.

The hotel itself is great. Comfortable, reasonable value, very well connected to public transport and with an excellent hot breakfast booking. Be careful if you have booked several rooms and/or amended s booking before staying though - check in was quite chaotic for us, and we were overcharged which took quite a few emails to the hotel to resolve

Sehr praktisch gelegen, S-Bahn, Bus und Tram direkt vor der Tür, man ist in 10 Minuten am Marienplatz. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend, selbst kurz vor Schluss wurde noch aufgefüllt, sodass auch die, die spät zum Frühstück kamen, noch eine große Auswahl hatten (in anderen Hotels kriegt man oftmals nur noch die Reste). Die Zimmer sind etwas klein. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis, insbesondere für Münchener Verhältnisse.

Great location. A few minutes walk from the S bahn station Donnerbergersbrucke which is about 45 minutes from the airport. There is also a tram stop just outside the hotel which goes to Marianplatz in the city centre. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very pleasant. Room was quite small but the bed was comfortable.
