Wonderful motel. The staff was friendly and super helpful with dining suggestions and things to do and see. Close to most of what you need. Nice picnic/sitting area. Laundry at motel. Would stay are again.

Very nice little motel. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and services. Very nice walk along the rail trail to downtown Summerside. Staff were very pleasant and it was great having laundry on site.

Great place, warm friendly owner, felt at home. Loved onsight laundry, green space, and chairs and a gazebo to relax outside and most of all great shower and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Cairns Motel was great! It was like having your one little cottage with a front entrance for parking and a back deck with seating and a nice open area with a gazebo. It was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Everything you needed was supplied. The only thing I would suggest would be some hooks in the bathroom and a curtain on the back door to the deck. The door has neat blinds built in but doesn’t keep the light out for the morning if you want to sleep in.

Onsite laundry services Re very convenient and lota of green space and tables, chairs for relaxing and enjoying the outdooors. We have starred this motel for future trips and hope to be back.

A lovely well maintained property run by owners Aaron and Kendra. Upon turning into the motel you are greeted by a fountain, beautiful flowers and a green space adjacent to the parking lot. The green space has picnic tables and each room has a bench which allows the outdoors to be enjoyed. The rooms are super clean and have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Also, you are made to feel welcome to help yourself to coffee brewed each morning in the reservation desk area. The owners are warm and helpful with directions and suggestions for things to do. Upon Aaron’s recommendation we enjoyed attending a fantastic PEI ceilidh, The Ross Family Ceilidh, which was about a twenty minute drive from the motel. The Cairns Motel is in a great location as it is very close to downtown Summerside and offers easy access to routes to enjoy the highlights of the island. Would stay again at the Cairns Motel in a heartbeat, the creative towel sculptures left atop the bed add a whimsical fun touch!

The owner was very friendly. The rooms had been updated very tastefully. The price was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. The room we had was smaller so would not have been good for a family with small children. Overall a great place to spend a few nights while exploring the Island!

Was great to have a laundromat and reasonably priced laundry $6 Double queen Room was ok. Bathroom very small, bright. Nowhere for toiletries in the bathroom to get dressed. AC was in a far nook from the beds and could not cool the room enough.

The room was clean. The owner and staff were very friendly. The room had a fridge, microwave oven and coffee machine. The motel was on the quiet end of the main street so the location was ideal. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. I would also recommend this motel to anyone who plans on visiting this area.

Great property. The only issue was the constant noise/ hum coming from inside the wall beside the sink. That was on room #9. Noise is very strong and never stops, its 24/7

This is a really great Motel to stay at. The room we had was recently renovated. There was a little back patio to sit. On the grounds there was a gazebo if you wanted shade. The beds and pillows were comfortable. They even made animals out of the towels. I would definitely stay here again.

Family run, Owners were there to enthusiastically welcome us to their Motel, Kendra was lovely! Room was perfectly clean spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend this Motel!!

It is sometimes hard to reach the owner at the desk or on the phone as she is working alone through most of the day. When my TV went "off line" suddenly one afternoon. They answered the phone line and the husband got it fixed - with wifes help. Not having a breakfast meal or even a snack is "unusual " . Only one restaurant within one KM to get breakfast.

A walk back in time. Metal key for room but bolt locks. Fridge and microwave. Coffee maker. Nice area to walk in nearby town of Summerside. We slept with windows open. No noise. Great parking. Restaurants nearby. Reasonable.
