This property was amazing and I enjoyed my stay. My only complaint was that the property needs to find a way to heat the pool at night. The pool is open 24 hours but at night it is so cold you can’t enjoy it.

EXCELLENCE!!! Superior service from checkin, room service to pool bar and dining. The hotel is chic, modern, exceptionally clean, and in a central location. Ett hotell som nog var trendigt för tio år sedan, men nu är det lite daterat. Väldigt partyinriktat, inte så mysigt och inte så exklusivt. Passar nog gäster under 30 år bäst. Toalettdörren på rummet gick inte att stänga helt. Dynorna i solstolarna i poolen var utslitna och ofräscha. Jacuzzin in poolen var inte igång. Ångbastun i gymmet var inte igång. Supertrevlig och hjälpsam personal dock.

The lobby staff and overall condition of the hotel including entrance restaurants and rooms was very nice. We were very disappointed with the pool area. It looked nice at first, but it lacked basic things like umbrellas, sufficient covered spaces, such as cabanas or lounges and it just did not feel inviting and relaxing. The scorching sun was not tolerable. W hotel pools are known for a wonderful atmosphere and it just did not do it for us in Panama. Drinks and pool service was ok.

The hotel room was dirty in general, specially the bathroom was terrible, needed maintenance a deep clean, the AC was not working. The staff understood the situation and moved me to other room, the bathroom was also in dirty. The elevator and halls had a strong smell like a scent but was so strong that I disliked it, the elevator was dirty also In the breakfast restaurant the table looked dirty too. In general poor maintenance and dirty.

The property was nicely decorated, unfortunately the sitting area with the colorful seats wear ripped and torn in multiple places. It didn't look nice. A few of the outside windows in our room 2101 were dirty and some attention to the outside windows of the rooms should be made.

This is my second time staying at this property. The shower was full of mold to the point I didn’t complain I just wore shower shoes. 5 years ago I didn’t have this issue but overall the property is still beautiful with a nice view.

Don’t get a room over the pool if you need to get to sleep early. We were up at 3:45 AM for our flight so tired by 9:45 PM and needed to get up early for planned excursion the next day. Nothing could be done and hours later the party continued in the room next to ours.

This is a tale of two experiences... First and foremost, the suite was outstanding. It was a large corner unit with a king bed, floor to ceiling windows out to the city, a big jetted tub overlooking the city and more. I can't recommend this suite enough. We had another member of our group go for a regular hotel room (or "deluxe" or whatever) and that would have been a very different experience. Don't do that. In my opinion, for this hotel, you get a suite or you stay somewhere else. There are grocery stores very close by ("Foodie Market" nearby was a good one) to buy some beers, wine, snacks, and empanadas to stock the room. The rest of the hotel has a modern W feel as you'd expect. The pool area was very nice in the afternoons and evenings. We didn't eat at the breakfast restaurant, but instead tried Paul's on the main floor for crepes which I recommend. If there are multiple rooms for your group, I STRONGLY recommend you ask for them all to be on the same floor as your key card can only get you to your own floor and the common floors like PB (outside entrance and Paul's), LB (check-in, a bar, and pool) and M (conference stuff). Sooo much confusion arose in our group everytime someone said "meet you in the lobby". Other than at check-in, we never really saw hotel staff even in common areas. I think that's likely intentional, but it made the hotel seem eerie at times. Anyway, for the suites alone, this hotel is a huge thumbs up.

Staff is great. Lobby on the 15th floor is a bit strange. Room decor and design modern but not that functional. Side faucet caused water mess, shower never got hot. A/C wouldn't control temp, either very cold or had to turn off. Entrance to hotel was awkward for Uber drivers, some found entrance, some had to meet on street.

My stay at W Panama was ok . I was expecting great service and modern rooms especially for it to be a 5 star hotel . The room definitely needs updating you could see scratches and scuff marks all over it the room . I had to call for them to clean my room and give extra towels and face towels . Linens on bed were not changed after 3 days according to their rule. I was disappointed with my stay . Panamá city was a great experience though if I go back I’ll return to the Sofitel legend which is were I stayed the 1st 3 nights . Also the rooms are not soundproof you can hear every noise from a person slamming a door , casual conversation and music from outside

The staff was fantastic. Angelo at the front desk was corteous, helpful, pro-active, and was able to accommodate all of my inquiries or requests. Ahmed and Ernesto were excellent drivers, who were punctual, responsive, attentive and corteous. I will repeat at W Panama for my next stays since they made it worthwhile.

I’ve been to over 80 countries and stayed in many W Hotels and as of right now I have to say I cannot recommend this hotel. The room was not ready for an hour after checkin in time. They said they were working on a mechanical issue in our room and no other rooms were available. That’s hard to believe because I looked online at the same moment and our SAME room type was available for booking. The app for ordering at the pool doesn’t work. The restaurant doesn’t answer their WhatsApp and says they are full (even for paying hotel guests!!!) for Christmas events. When we finally got a reservation for Christmas Eve dinner, it was just the two of us and three other tables in the whole restaurant. Not full at all. Not even half. The spa doesn’t answer their WhatsApp at all. It takes a long time to get any kind of service. No department in this hotel answers the WhatsApp even though they tell you to communicate via WhatsApp. I’m not kidding when I say I would take hours to get answers. Our driver tried to charge us extra and he was texting while driving us to the hotel. The hotel arranged the driver. Totally unsafe. I can’t recommend it for now. The pool has very few chairs for use. They have room for more. The hotel was not designed with the sun at the pool in mind as you don’t get sun until about 1pm, so just know that in case you like warmth for the poolside. Also something I’ve never seen in a W except this one: if you take a toiletry from your room it is $75!

The service was amazing. Angelo assisted us at the front desk and made sure our accommodations were met. David helped us with all of our transportation needs. The hotel is clean, vibrant and the breakfast buffet had a ton of options. Only staying here when we come back. We've been spoiled ;-)

Overall the hotel was ok. However, the front desk service was terrible. Issues with customer service impacted my thoughts about the hotel overall. I was charged double the price for incidentals. I had to go to customer service twice to resolve the matter. Inquired about early check-in ahead of my arrival and was told I would need to book an extra day. Arrived and was able to check in early for $35. However, when my friend arrived, she was charged $50 for early check in. Another member of our group had to switch rooms twice due to a plumbing issue. The initial room was a downgrade from their original room so they had to complain to the front desk to get switched again to a room that was comparable to their original room. We were told the room windows were tinted. Therefore, no one can see in the room. This is absolutely NOT TRUE! Lastly there is a roach problem. While at the indoor bar enjoying drinks, a roach sauntered across the counter top as if it didn’t have a care in the world. Thankfully, we never saw any roaches in our room. Overall the hotel location was nice, rooms are nice but dealing with the front desk was terrible.

Staff is great. Lobby on the 15th floor is a bit strange. Room decor and design modern but not that functional. Side faucet caused water mess, shower never got hot. The hotel is located in a very centralized area so accessing food and areas of interest wasn't a task. However, i would have had $800 stolen from my travel bag within my 1st day at the hotel and it tainted my entire experience as i believe the hotels management treated the situation extremely poorly and with little regard for how it affected my stay. There was a total of 1 staff member who entered our room while we were not present and this is a clear indicator to me that, that particular staff member was the culprit. The lady at the front desk lobby was very pleasant and i enjoyed speaking with her but no supervisory or management personnel even bothered to offer some sort of conversation personally. POOR!

W Panamá was an absolute amazing stay! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! I had two rooms reserved and called ahead of time to inquire on having the rooms side by side, the communication throughout my entire stay was excellent. My party and I were celebrating two birthdays and everything we asked for to be available at check in as a surprise was beautiful executed. The breakfast was delicious and the variety was extensive. I have no complaints whatsoever and truly look forward to staying at W Panamá again. Thank you for a great stay!

While I appreciate the effort your staff puts into providing a pleasant experience for guests, I must admit that our stay was rather underwhelming. From the moment we checked in, there were a few aspects of our stay that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. It seemed as though the room was not inspected prior to our check-in, but during our stay the turndown service was frequent. Additionally, the amenities were lackluster, the pool is not your typical W pool. There were no pool parties and the outdoor area was uneventful and quite boring with no shade or umbrella to help alleviate the scorching heat of the sun. Gym is ok but is in need of urgent repairs to the flooring/ceilings, etc. The W’s iconic “living room” should be renamed the “dead room” at W Panama. It was not lively with parties/entertainment that catered to the guests; the only parties at the Living Room were private events hosted by the locals. The overall ambiance of the hotel also left much to be desired. It lacked the warm and welcoming social atmosphere that I usually associate with the W. We checked into the JW Marriott after our stay which was a much better hotel and experience. Lastly, please review itemized billing on checkout receipt, we noticed discrepancies when checking out.

Hospitality was great. The room and other places in the hotel were clean which I always appreciate. Housekeeping ladies were great and kept our room clean. Anytime I called guest services they readily assisted. The views and our room were beautiful. The location of the hotel is a good distance from all the places we went. I have no complaints.

Hotel was clean and in a good location. The breakfast buffet was really good and had variety. Downside was my share pooled water each time and kids were running down the halls disrupting guest at 3 am. I was awakened 2 nights in a row. I do highly recommend the hotel however

Excellent location in city center and easy to get to many places via short (and cheap) ride shares, including Casco Viejo, Panama Canal area, and Amador/ Marina area. Highly recommend.

we definitely did not expect a "W " hotel to be so dingy. as you walk in from the street, the first thing you notice is the darkness. are you in the right place? ! there is no one there to greet you! we had to figure out how to get to the reception area on our own! someone told us the reception area is on the 13th floor so we took the elevator up to Lobby but it was still dingy when we got up the walls ,the ceiling and the floors are all painted black !!! with some small lights around the wall and ceiling. The staff did not look like they care at all about customer service. Very dry and not welcoming. the place is out of the way and not close to the water. the only good thing is that the rooms were nice and appeared clean. The pool is very small and does not have a vibe.

I enjoyed the stay as well as the breakfast. Due to the hotel being in the financial district there was traffic mainly from 12-6 I believe. The good thing about it though is that the tourists attractions are not far from the property so it was still in a good area. The staff was nice and helpful.

It’s a nice hotel, rooms are great and the price very reasonable. But the area around is not very nice and it may be more of a business hotel than a tourist one. I would stay in the old town if I came back. More to walk to and nicer surroundings. But this hotel was nice for what it is.

I enjoyed my stay at The W Panama. My room was spacious and very clean. Although they had full size toiletries in the room, housekeeping gifted some travel sized products and a small handmade basket from an indigenous community and left me a handwritten note. It was a nice surprise that I really appreciated. It's the little things for me. The breakfast buffet was pretty good but I can't say I enjoyed any other meals I had. Barely took more than 2 bites of anything else, so ate outside the hotel after a couple of tries. Of course that's the goal anyway and luckily the location made that very easy. Everywhere I wanted to go was either less than a 20 minute walk or a $3 Uber ride. I'd stay again.
