Dollar for dollar, with everything being accounted for, this was an excellent stay before a cruise.. the rooms are equipped with full kitchens which allows you to go food shopping and stock pile cold waters and beverages as well. I stayed here before a cruise and I’m glad I did. I chose this property for the price and the kitchen as well as the quiet neighborhood. This neighborhood is true authentic Miami suburbs and is filled with many lovely people. The gym was fantastic for the price, pool was clean and sanitized properly but did not have a view of anything. The rooms were clean enough to my liking. No complaints here. It was super quiet on the 4th floor

The room I was in was nice and spacious and was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The only issue I had with the place was the parking lot was very tiny and doesn't seem to fit all the guests staying. Towards the end of the night the parking lot will fill up leaving you to have to literally create your own spot to park in or park next door at the other hotel and walk over, which is just a bit inconvenient.

Our stay at Candlewood Suites Miami Exec Airport – Kendall by IHG (July 26 – August 3, 2025) turned into a nightmare. My infant son left this hotel with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease and a serious bacterial skin infection (impetigo) that required emergency medical attention. This wasn’t “bad luck” — it was the direct result of filthy, poorly maintained facilities and a complete lack of hygiene protocols. The carpet in our room was visibly dirty, the pool and common areas were unsanitary, and I saw no evidence of proper cleaning or sanitization. On top of that, our bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush, and although maintenance eventually fixed it, a pipe began leaking in the bathroom shortly after. For a hotel that welcomes families, this is completely unacceptable. Because of this stay, I am now forced to take time off from work so I can care for my sick child while he recovers — adding financial stress on top of an already awful situation. I am sharing this so other parents know the risks before booking. Illnesses like these are preventable with basic sanitation, timely repairs, and responsible management. Until this hotel takes real action to protect its guests, it should not be considered a safe place for families.

I am not sure they’ve ever cleaned the floors or carpets here. We have two rooms and they are both filthy. My daughter showered in her shoes. Someone else had filthy feet and put them on the wall by the bed. Filthy footprints on the wall.

Room was not properly cleaned Rugs were never vacuumed Must wear shoes or your feet will collect dirt floor Bathroom had no functional vent. After you shower you must open the door Shower tiles had mold Rooms are cleaned every 3rd day. You pay extra for daily service. If you need towels you must bring your towels to the main desk to exchange for clean ones. Hotel has an agreement with local hospital to place patients in hotel for post hospital stay. When we arrived there were several patients in the lobby. We thought we in annex of a hospital. My wife and I had a 6 day stay to see our grandchildren who live locally. Next time we will drive further away. The lobby has a nice look, but don’t let this outer shell deceive you. We travel numerous times a year but this stay was one of our worst stays ever. PS They don’t serve breakfast. You need to drive to get some food. Remember their price is one of the lowest but you get what you paid for. Pay a little more and get what you deserve.

The facility looked clean except for the dog poop on the outside grass area. The room looked clean but at night my legs were itchy, and the next day we all had bite marks on our legs. Room 417. And when we asked for a blow dryer, the front desk guy made us go down To grab an old sticky blow dryer bc he was alone and house keeping was out for the day. Housekeeping did not make our beds , take out the trash, or provide fresh towels the whole 3 days we were there.

Asked at the reception to give/rent two additional pillows and the receptionist without taking his eyes from the computer display simply answered No. a day before our check out asked about late check out and hit answer No. A/C had two mode for fan: low and high. Low mode simply turns AC off. Refrigerator made such noises that we needed to turn it off. Think twice before booking there a room.

Very nice staff. Room was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable and I liked the choice of soft and firm pillows. AC worked great! I didn’t use the kitchen but it was clean and efficient. The bathroom was just ok. It looked clean but newer towels would be nice. The floor in the bathroom needs to be updated to give it that sparkly clean look. A few more toiletries would have been nice too.

The location was conveniently close to a wedding we were attending. My only complaint was the cracks and holes in the blackout curtains. These need to be replaced asap because the sun came into the room very early and I could not sleep

I didnt like the fact that ot states they have shuttle service which they do not. Check in was a nightmare they should tell you that they start charging your card the day before and when you get to the property they charge another 100. They also should like guests know they dont take cash. I had fleas jumping on me

The hotel it self smelled, attention to detail was missing. They had us stay on the third floor after I requested the 1st floor with plenty of time to accommodate request. Four guessed total room had two towels. Pool had no towels. Front deck denied my wife towels for the kids on the first night. Reason was house keeping was locked for the night. And they don’t show up tell 830-9am joke!! dishware was chipped sink was missing the center rubber spacer. 7 outlet plugs didn’t work including the lamp i between the queen beds. The landry basket had two out of three handles missing. Body wash was empty after third day. Ran out of toilet paper around 8pm went down to ask for some was told housekeeping not here. ??? Ok…. Came back to front deck the next morning before 830 to ask… was handed a box of Kleenex. Mattress sucked chairs where trash. We stayed at the BW next store in 2022 thought I’d give candlewood a chance. Was very disappointed. Would love a refund!!!

Booked through Expedia and will never do so again.I call asking information about the room and was given incorrect info.We arrived at 3 checkin time and our room wasn’t ready until after 4.Requested handicap accessible room and wasn’t given one.Finally we were moved to one.This whole checkin process took over 2 hours.The girl at the front desk was very apologetic and helpful.She was the only good thing about our stay.

Ideal for King Jesus church conferences, self-catering option is useful with grocery stores nearby, airport opposite is very quiet. We suggest to visit Everglades Indian Village on Tamiami Trail.

We lived one week in thie hotel. I give it five star. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is also free parking, gym, swimming pool, and laundry. The staff are very nice. There are some shopping center near the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. Convenient location.

We stayed for a short time. The hotel was clean. We did not use any of the amenities, The staff were all very nice and courteous. Having a kitchen in the room is a great way to save money while staying away from home. If in the area again we will use this hotel again.

Overall was excellent !!! Only down fall is the hotel doesn't offer breakfast like there neighboring hotels . . You guys offered complementary apples and bananas and coffee !!! Bananas were brown half the time and the apples were 2 bite apple . Had to go to Wawa every morning for coffee .

For last minute the booking was easy and getting my card keys. Room was clean and perfect for me and my friend for staying four days. The pool was a plus. Nothing was complicated. The staffing was easy going. Everything was chill. I personally did not have problem with the hotel especially for the price for two queens beds with kitchen studio. The kitchen was a plus and helpful. Overall my stay was pleasant.
