What a gorgeous property! I was nervous about my terrible French speaking, but they were warm, helpful, and responsive. Everything, from the pool to the boats were well taken care of and easily accessible, and there was so much to do that was included with the stay that saved me money, like not having to rent a kayak. The restaurant and service are top notch, and the bed/room are very comfortable and cozy. Can't wait to spend more time there.

Did not like the fact that we did not receive any information on the hotel, spa and restaurant when we arrived and there was no information about any of that in the room. Spa is minimal. Not very interesting. Restaurant is extremely high quality and excellent service.

We had a lovely large room with a patio overlooking the lake. While the room and view are gorgeous, you are near the pool and all of the activity on the water so it can be a bit noisy. These larger rooms have refrigerators and ovens so they are nice for families who want to prepare some food in the room. We really enjoyed our stay, but it is important to note that breakfast ends at 10 and lunch is not available until 11:30. There is no food option available in the interim. Additionally it would be great if the hotel would add a coffee bar or light breakfast option for those interested in a quick easy start to the day. I love that they have boats and SUPs available with no wait and no additional charge. Easy to just enjoy a short activity on the lake. Additionally they have a large selection of bikes and helmets for guests to use. Lovely trail nearby! Overall the resort, food and service are wonderful. Better option if you have kids than for a romantic, quiet getaway.

We stayed in one of the new 3-bedroom villas, and it exceeded expectations. The view out to the lake from the multiple balconies was beautiful, and we had a well-equipped kitchen to cook meals. The hot tub was an over-the-top benefit that I didn't expect. The property itself is beautifully maintained and we were able to take out bikes and kayaks and peddleboats. Lovely!

The stairs to restaurant and bar are a bit much especially after a nice meal. And if you have to go up to the second floor for your room, definitely a bit much. The fire alarm late at night was well, alarming, and having to ask for towels got old. Overall, a good stay. Just a few hiccups.

We have visited the resort both in August and now in winter. In the summer, the setting is perfect for lounging by the pool, swimming or boating in the lake and biking on a nearby nature trail. In the winter, the resort is not far from groomed Nordic, skiing trails and other outdoor activities. We enjoyed the resort’s sauna and Jacuzzi both seasons. Our accommodations had fully equipped kitchens and lovely balconies. For a relaxing and peaceful retreat, Ripplecove is a wonderful resort.

Peaceful setting and beautiful nature on the lake. Nice front desk people able to quickly resolve issues. A few missing kitchen items were quickly delivered brand new in boxes. The 3-bedroom villa was perfect for the family of 5. Good selection of paddle boards and kayaks, although the kayaks could use some periodic washing to remove the crusty mildew. Overall, a good 5-day stay, exept for a strange encounter with a consierge who said that "the villas are not in his inventory and are for sale" and he was not helpful.

Hôtel très bien situé sur le bord du lac offrant de belles options pour les activités nautiques, le vélo et le tennis. Les restaurants est délicieux et les chambres sont modernes et biens équipées. Le personnel est aussi vraiment sympathique. Nous avons eu cependant de la difficulté avec l’eau chaude et le service aux chambres qui a laissé notre porte de chambre ouverte après avoir fait le ménage. Un oubli peut être, mais ce n’est pas une surprise agréable au retour en fin de journée.

We had an incident were my room wasn't cleaned two days in a row which was very disappointing and upsetting. But the service manager made that right by sending a bottle of brut to our room with small chocolates and also paid for one night's stay. That was very nice of him. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating. Food was excellent and drinks were great. Overall I would stay at the Inn again. A few details got missed for a 5 star or a 4 star inn. I would focus on the small things. Like for example, I had to call back to ask for my VIP credit to be applied. They missed that.

Pour ce qui est des 2 spa sur le balcon, il étaient vraiment sale, après un couriel et photos a l'appuie ils ont nettoyer mais nous ne somme pas retourner dans le spa. Ripplecove again did not disappoint. Hubby and I appreciate the safety, quiet, cleanliness, professionalism of everyone we had encountered. I will always recommend Ripplecove to anyone who is looking for a to reset or who wants to leave behind the bustle and hustle for few days. I will also recommend a room with the lake view.

The carpet in our room was badly stained in the doorway area- otherwise a spacious comfortable room. Tv flat on wall impossible to watch from the couch which was off to the side. TV needs to be on a swivel mount

The property is beautiful and the staff is very nice. We have stayed at Ripplecove 5 times over the last 20 years. But we were surprised and distressed to discover that it took 15 minutes for the hot water in the bathroom and shower to come up! That is simply unacceptable in a suite costing over $800 a night. The staff was unable to fix the problem except to have us run the shower until the water ran hot enough to use. New ownership should do a better job of ensuring that basic amenities are provided to guests.

Lovely, cozy room with a beautiful water view and a gas fireplace. Also enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the bistro and breakfast in the enclosed water front porch. Staff courteous, friendly and bilingual. Would certainly visit again in warmer weather.

We had a room in the main building. While we didn’t have a balcony, our view of the lake was impressive. The room was extraordinarily large and offered a seating area and fireplace. The bathroom was also generously sized. We had no trouble as non-French-speaking guests. The hotel’s dining room provided beautiful meals and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely book this hotel in the future.

The only part of the hotel that we experienced, besides our room, was the inside bar and the patio which were very nice. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the lake and it was extremely beautiful. The only complaint is that the room lacks a refrigerator which prevented us from visiting any of the cheese factories in the area.

This was not a good experience. The hotel had construction going on starting early in the morning which they did not mention on their website when I made the reservations nor did they inform us prior to our stay. The menu for dinner was simply a 7 course meal which we weren't interested in and the entire menu did not have anything other than a hamburger that was lactose tolerant. Lunch menu was also extremely limited. The Manoir Hovey was much better with lunch and dinner selections. You should take a lesson. The person who checked us in at the front desk was rude. There were no directions on how to use anything in the room. Our phone never worked. The heating/cooling system didn't work. We had difficulty obtaining a drink as the bartender was not in the bar. We did finally get a drink on the second day. The robes in the room were worn out - frayed. Everything was written in French. I understand French is your first language but you have many Americans and others visiting who do not speak French. Most hotels also include English. We thought we had a room with a balcony and lake view but there was no balcony. The visit was definitely not worth the room charge. I would not return as a guest.

Not a 5 stars hotel. We reserved a basic room (about 400$ plus taxes) There was 3 available; they gave us the worst; just over the reception, view on the asphalt entrance road. it’s was quite noisy. They state the check in is at 4PM, but when we arrived at noon, they said the room would be ready at 2PM. We went for a walk, came back at 2PM; the room was not ready. We waited another hour to get the room. I was appalled the last clerk insisted on the check in policy as an excuse, while other places welcomes you at 2 or 3PM. When we got into the room we were surprised to find the bed cover and pillow to be wet; it took another hour to fix. Nice sized room but many amenities were deficient. The fridge was noisy, none of the wall switches for the lights were working; we had to go to each light and switch ON/OFF manually. The air conditioning was efficient and quiet but the heating was not possible and the next morning the room was quite cold. The washroom was nice but missing a security bar in the shower as the floors were quite slippery when wet. The fan was loud and the mirrors lacked an anti-fog feature. The shaving / makeup mirror was installed way too high to be useful. The shower faucets were cheap plastic missing the gripping knobs; so with wet hands it was difficult to turn them. The Ripplecove is a nice Inn if you can pay for a higher level room. Nice property on the lake, the restaurant is quite good. Their cheaper rooms are too expensive and lacking.

Ripple Cove is a superior hotel with gracious staff, delightful rooms, and a lovely lakeside setting. What’s more, the area has numerous charming surprises. We have been to this area of Quebec numerous times, and hopefully it will not be nearly our last!

The property is absolutley stunning. We had a lake view and it was totally worth it! The staff were wonderful, and the amenities were a great perk to the property. The morning brunch is good (but a little expensive). Be sure to make reservations for Brunch and Dinner, since their dining rooms can get booked up! I cannot recommend this place more (close to Magog and Sherbrooke), it's quiet and relaxing, and fabulous views!

This hotel is a luxury haven on a gorgeous lake. We stayed in winter, and it was a pure delight! The chef of the Riverain restaurant is worthy of a Michelin mention. He is clearly a perfectionist. The weekend/holiday brunch is a royal feast, replete with delicate French pastries ready to dunk in your allongé, local charcuteries, eggs made on order just the way you want them, fresh fruit and decadent desserts to your heart's content. The Grand Marnier tiramisú was out of this world! This hotel is perfect for a couples' getaway or an upscale personalized experience for the entire family. It's also within drivable distance of the ski slopes at Mont Orford and Mont Bellevue.
