ibis budget Genève Petit-Lancy

Rooms are small but clean and very basic. We stayed here because it was close to our relative’s condominium. Staff was very helpful and friendly, Rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good. Nice lobby area for quick drink 🍹 or snack. Recommended!

Pas de séchoir à cheveux dans la chambre , faut demander! Tout est très propre,. Bon lits, bonne literie. Le petit déjeuner très dispendieux, 16FH (16 franc suisse/ personne). Il y a tout près un petit café viennoiseries à 2minutes où on peut déjeuner à 3 pour 17CH, ainsi qu' un petit marché d'alimentation sandwich etc. Très très bien situé pour le Tram juste en face direction centre ville

Good for a cheap no frills hotel. Breakfast was adequate. There was a pack of teenage children that pulled through one night... Made a lot of noise. That sucked. Alas, when it is the cheapest hotel in an area, that's what you're going to get.

Non è concepibile che in un Hotel che si degni di questo nome esistano camere senza stanza da bagno e con i servizi in (doccia e water) in resina come nelle cuccette delle navi da traghetto!! La maniglia della finestra è a richiesta.....così come il phon....nemmeno in un ostello!!

Ibis is great for a bare bones basic stay. It’s very convenient to the bus stop (23) for direct access to the airport as well as Tram 14 for a 25 min ride to downtown (Gare Cornavin). The area itself is quiet, not much nearby so you’d need to go downtown for sightseeing/restaurants, which is fine. Room is comfortable, surprisingly cool during the hot summer days even, but is completely sparse, no water kettle, fridge or hair dryer (you’d need to ask reception to borrow). Was comfortable for a budget stay despite no amenities. Staff was professional.

Facilities in the lobby

This is a budget dorm-like hotel with bare bones rooms and accommodations. The toilet, sink, and shower are made of prefabricated fiberglass that could be used in a boat or recreational vehicle. The room does not have air conditioning, ventilation, or the ability to open a window. I found the hotel staff to be very helpful, hospitality, and accommodating.

Very close to bus stop and train stop . Negative is it gets hot in night and there is no air conditioning.

All good for a short stay, clean and minimal fuss. Only thing I would say that you need Swiss adapters for plugs as no multi-area plugs available and different from European adapters I was carrying. USB plugs would have been handy. However, excellent staff charged things up for me with no problem, so minor inconvenience in the end

Städningen är oftast väldigt bra på Ibis hotell och det är därför jag bokar med dom. Tyvärr var budget hotellet i enklaste laget med kryp in till toalett och handfat i rummet.

One pillow is not enough. Provide two pillows. The towels were thread bare. Buy some new ones. The toilet was like being on a plane. Staff were friendly and the room was clean

This is basically a step above a hostel, and you can get a private bathroom. It's not a hotel room, per se, as the toilet is separate from the shower, which is more like something you'd see in an RV rather than a room. It was fairly clean, but we'd been staying at much nicer rooms and this was our last stop of the trip. It was very crowded even for just two people, but we slept fine, and it was the best price for what we got.

Firstly, I would like to start my review by saying Ibis Budget is different from other Ibis hotels you may have stayed at. My fiancé and I always stay at Ibis and I am pleased to say that we found our stay very enjoyable! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you would like a nice quiet area to stay in, and don’t mind the 50 minute walk or short drive to the city centre this is the place for you. The hotel is definitely value for money and provides excellent, clean and cheap accommodation for those who are looking at travelling on a budget. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and I would especially like to give a special mention to Camelia at reception who went above and beyond to help us gain a better understanding of the motorway and national road system in Switzerland and France to allow us to plan our days out accordingly. Camelia should be commanded for her friendly and genuine approach and I would highly recommend her for an employee of the month scheme if you have one in place for your staff. Parking: if you are driving you do not need to pay for parking as you can park for free in the street (anywhere with a blue line) between 19:00 and 08:00. Parking is also free on Sundays. (This is what we did and it worked well for us) - but of course you are welcome to take whichever option is convenient for you. Thank you for such a lovely wonderful stay!

Razoável. Quarto pequeno, banheiro minúsculo e distante dos pontos turísticos. O que ajudou foi o transporte gratuito que usamos diversas vezes. Além de não ter ar condicionado e entregarem apenas um cartão de acesso ao quarto. Passamos pouco tempo, então me serviu naquela circustância, mas não reservaria novamente.

It got hot during the night . Opening the window helped a little , but there a lot of noise that could be heard from apartments behind . Space in room was little too tight . There was one plug in point in room . Staff are very friendly . .

Personnel vraiment peu recommandable . J’ai reçu une amande de 170 franc suisse pour avoir stationné ma voiture à l’endroit indiqué par l’hôtel. Lorsque la police et la dépanneuse sont arrivés, l’hôtel a complètement décliné leur responsabilité!!!

Même si l’hotel n’est pas situé au centre-ville, il est à quelques minutes par voie de tramway. Le trajet en tramway se fait facilement de l’hôtel au centre-ville de Genève. Et en plus, il ne coûte rien pour les clients séjournant à l’hôtel.
