Motel 6-Bridgeview, IL

There was a stinch in the room and the elevator stopped working. I'm an older gentleman and had to use the stairs with a cane. If smoking isn't allowed, how do you compensate for the stinch of animals? Not a smoker, but left behind odors come from both animals and smoking.

Where do I start. We had two rooms reserved. The first room was adequate, but the second room we had smelled damp and moldy. There was trash still on the floor and the bed was not completely made. The hallways wet dirty and not vacuumed. I informed the front desk attendant about the issues and he stated he would send housekeeping back to address the matter. We went to visit my mother and upon returning a few hours later, we saw that the room looked exactly the same as when we left. When I informed the attendant that nothing was done, he was indifferent to matter and said housekeeping did go clean the rooms. I assured him they did not and insisted that he go and look for himself, which he refused. He continued to be dismissive and had a bit of an attitude about being held accountable for the property’s poor service. I return to the second room which my daughter was going to be staying in and we found a roach crawling by the front door. The attendant refused to address any of the issues, stating the manager would have to deal with it in the morning. When the next shifts attendant came in they had a little bit of a laugh about the situation between them. After seeing that nothing would be done to remedy the problem, we made other accommodations at the Chicago Marriott Naperville. In conclusion, the property was poorly keep and the staff was lazy and unprofessional.

Smells like dogs and cats. Bed sheets still looked dirty and had crumbs on it. 1st night we had no TV , Day of check out tv was fixed. My room had 1 tiny bar of soap.

The room had bugs, the ceiling tiles on the 3rd floor hallway were hanging with exposed electrical wires. I booked it for a friend who was coming into town for a night. I was embarrassed by what he said the conditions were in this motel. The pictures on the website are deceiving. My friend said there were unsavory characters hanging about the property. Unless it was free, I would NOT revisit this property.
