We booked a room with a terrace. Do not book this room in the summer, as the terrace is located below street level and is therefore completely enclosed. As a result, there is no natural light in the room throughout the entire day. It feels like being in a prison. On top of that, because the terrace is enclosed, it becomes like a sauna in the middle of summer, making it impossible to enjoy at all. So you end up paying extra for a terrace that is completely useless during the summer. The rooms with terraces are located on the ground floor, and there is also a fairly aggressive green emergency exit light in the room, which is required to indicate the exit in case of fire. Thankfully, the staff put a piece of cardboard around the light; otherwise, I would not have been able to sleep. The staff are very kind and competent, but the room is not worth the price. The terrace is useless in the summer, and the room feels gloomy and depressing because no natural light comes through.

Really loved it here, the staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was lovely! Thought it lacked a bar on the terrace. Our room had a great outside area. The hotel was in a brilliant location. Montjuic was great

4 stars instead of 5, mostly because of poor WiFi and voice calling on the ground floor. I needed to do work while in Barcelona and I was largely unable to because of this. Other than that, relatively decent. Somewhat slow check-in, but staff was friendly. I appreciated the kitchenette so that I could save money on going out to eat. Might stay here again but would request to have a room at least on the first floor so as to avoid WiFi and voice calling issues.

Quite small rooms when you are two adults and two kids. But it was very nice and clean. The "kitchen" is very spacious equipped but we managed. The location is good close to metro and busses, at plaza Espania. The employees were kind, welcoming and informative. The breakfast was good and with small variations each day. The pool is a nice touch especially in the summer heat.
