Room was nice but small. No staff so you need to check in early to get into the hotel gates and your room. The wifi, air conditioning, and bed was great. Close to the metro station making it easy to get around.

The hotel staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, accommodating. The access code system to enter the hotel and room was ok, but we had initial challeges with securing the access code. The room had plain concrete floors, walls, ceiling, not a soothing relaxing atmosphete at all. One little chair, portable fridge on the floor, no carpets or paint colors on the walls. For a Marriott bonvoy we were expecting more. The bed was comfortable, which in the end is most important.

The hotel is located in a lovely area of Barcelona with small squares, cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket located within 50m and it was nice to feel like we were in an authentic Spanish area rather than a tourist hotspot. The hotel itself was clean and well presented. The staff there (between 10 and 6) went out of their way to assist us, showing us places to go on the map, finding umbrellas when it rained and sorting out any issues we had. They spoke amazing English and were super friendly. There is no milk in the room so we got some from the supermarket and the team put a small fridge in our room to keep it cold. The room we had faced away from the main square so was quiet (the main square was so busy on a weekend). We did hear a lot of noise from other guests in the corridor as the walls and door aren’t soundproofed that much. The room was clean but needed to have maintenance work done on it (AC not working, sockets loose). The bed was positioned next to a wall so hard for the second person to get out of bed without waking the other. There is a glass door on the shower/toilet which we found odd and there are only paper cups for the tea/coffee. After a few uses they became a big soggy. Not sure why they couldn’t have a china cup and glass as there is a bar downstairs. There is an amazing roof top garden which was so lovely to chill on and caught lots of sun. I know the price is at the lower end, but with a few small changes it would be amazing.

No tiene una sola cosa de bueno. Todo es pésimo, la habitación aparte de sucia y con muchos detalles de pintura, no tiene ni donde poner las toallas de mano, no las toallas de baño, las cortinas entran hasta el lavabo y están perfectamente sucias, no tiene un lugar adecuado para colgar ropa, el colchón y las sábanas son de lo peor, no tiene ni siquiera el banco para abrir la maleta. Utilizan el nombre de una buena cadena, pero la verdad es una estafa. NO ENTIENDO COMO EXPEDÍA NO REVISA ESAS COSAS. Si no lo hacen, ustedes se convierten en cómplices. Gran decepción. Me gustaría recibir una respuesta de seguimiento. Saludos

Notre hébergement préféré de Barcelone, dans le quartier à la mode de Gràcia. De quoi profiter de la ville sans étouffer dans la vieille ville remplie de touristes. Chambre très confortable et bien climatisée. Nous adorons !

Room was clean and reasonably spacious. Staff was super friendly and responsive, really appreciated their effort. Location was perfect as it's within walking distance to famous attractions. The hotel is next to a small plaza with restaurants so there was some noises from the diners, but it's on an acceptable level. The only feedback for improvement is to install a sliding door at the showering area, as water splashed out so easily.

room is spacious, clean, and tastefully minimalistic. front concierge is very nice and helpful. area feels safe. it's a bit of a walk to metro station and tourist attractions. If anyone is talking in the hallway outside, you will hear every word.

The La Gracia neighborhood is a wonderful community filled with great local businesses. You will find fantastic food, coffee, bakeries shopping and groceries in a safe walkable community. We loved our stay at Sonder in Placa de Sol. The plaza is a wonderful area where the local community activities occur. Sonder placa de Sol is a very walkable location close to other neighborhoods, public transportation and everything you need. The staff is amazing, always there to help or answer questions. They have excellent recommendations and are very accommodating. The space is perfect for a stay in La Gracia. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided are a high quality natural brand and was a nice added touch. The view of the plaza from the room balcony was perfect. Very charming place to watch the local life and enjoy the community. We hope to be back soon! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Literally one if the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, especially considering the price. Hotel room smelled super strongly of bleach, lights were not working, faucets have these complicated handles, my bed was two mattresses pushed together which can be fine, except the bed frame wasn’t made to hold two so they slid apart, it’s directly right next to a noisy plaza when the room is advertised as “sound-proof, and they couldn’t even call me a cab because no one is at the property….when they did call me a cab in advance, it was 20 minutes late and caused me to be late for dinner reservation. Thank you never staying at a Sonder hotel again EVER As some one that travels frequently and up to 200 nights last year, I have a decent sample size when knowing what to expect and this was just horrible.

Zimmer für 2 Personen etwas zu klein , der Mini Kühlschrank (wie auf den Bildern) hat gefehlt . Schall Isolierung nach außen so wie auch im Hotel Sehr schlecht , man hört fast jedes Wort des Nachbarn sowie die Straßen die schon etwas lauter sind abends. Frühstück war in Ordnung aber seltsam serviert : man kommt an einen bereits gedeckten Tisch mit Saft , 2 Croissants und ein belegtes Brötchen mit Wurst , dass war’s an Auswahl Lage sehr gut wenn man abends gern weg geht

This property was a great place for a couple who wants to be out of the tourist craze every day in Barcelona. This is very much a locals area. It is about a 30 minute walk into the downtown gothic district, La rambla, etc. but you can always take the metro or bus, we did both. The walk isn’t bad at all but just gets exhausting after a few days of doing it. Overall this was a great property for us and what we were hoping to experience in Barcelona. I would say the property is very basic, nothing fancy but it’s a nice place to relax at the end of the day. The rooms could definitely use some touch ups and renovations with paint, scuffed walls, and maybe a better sound proofing system. You can hear just about everything through the walls and door, even some of the noise from the square outside the hotel but we didn’t spend much time in the room so we were ok. If they made some basic esthetic updates I think they would be a perfect hotel for the Gracia neighborhood.

Very nice place and great location near everything including metro station. Only throng that prevent 5 stars was the WiFi. It constantly dropped me or wasn’t available and the bed was really firm.

Hotel room smelled super strongly of bleach, lights were not working, faucets have these complicated handles, my bed was two mattresses pushed together which can be fine, except the bed frame wasn’t made to hold two so they slid apart, it’s directly right next to a noisy plaza when the room is advertised as “sound-proof, and they couldn’t even call me a cab because no one is at the property….when they did call me a cab in advance, it was 20 minutes late and caused me to be late for dinner reservation. Thank you never staying at a Sonder hotel again EVER As some one that travels frequently and up to 200 nights last year, I have a decent sample size when knowing what to expect and this was just horrible.

The hotel is next to a small plaza with restaurants so there was some noises from the diners, but it's on an acceptable level. The only feedback for improvement is to install a sliding door at the showering area, as water splashed out so easily.

The hotel staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, accommodating. The access code system to enter the hotel and room was ok, but we had initial challeges with securing the access code. The room had plain concrete floors, walls, ceiling, not a soothing relaxing atmosphete at all. One little chair, portable fridge on the floor, no carpets or paint colors on the walls. For a Marriott bonvoy we were expecting more. The bed was comfortable, which in the end is most important.

Me pidieron un taxi que era mucho más caro que uno tradicional Porque el taxi cobra desde que lo llaman en recepción no desde que me Recoge No recomiendo esta propiedad

This property was a great place for a couple who wants to be out of the tourist craze every day in Barcelona. This is very much a locals area. It is about a 30 minute walk into the downtown gothic district, La rambla, etc. but you can always take the metro or bus, we did both. The walk isn’t bad at all but just gets exhausting after a few days of doing it. Overall this was a great property for us and what we were hoping to experience in Barcelona. I would say the property is very basic, nothing fancy but it’s a nice place to relax at the end of the day. The rooms could definitely use some touch ups and renovations with paint, scuffed walls, and maybe a better sound proofing system. You can hear just about everything through the walls and door, even some of the noise from the square outside the hotel but we didn’t spend much time in the room so we were ok. If they made some basic esthetic updates I think they would be a perfect hotel for the Gracia neighborhood.

Very nice place and great location near everything including metro station. Only throng that prevent 5 stars was the WiFi. It constantly dropped me or wasn’t available and the bed was really firm.

The hotel is located in a lovely area of Barcelona with small squares, cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket located within 50m and it was nice to feel like we were in an authentic Spanish area rather than a tourist hotspot. The hotel itself was clean and well presented. The staff there (between 10 and 6) went out of their way to assist us, showing us places to go on the map, finding umbrellas when it rained and sorting out any issues we had. They spoke amazing English and were super friendly. There is no milk in the room so we got some from the supermarket and the team put a small fridge in our room to keep it cold. The room we had faced away from the main square so was quiet (the main square was so busy on a weekend). We did hear a lot of noise from other guests in the corridor as the walls and door aren’t soundproofed that much. The room was clean but needed to have maintenance work done on it (AC not working, sockets loose). The bed was positioned next to a wall so hard for the second person to get out of bed without waking the other. There is a glass door on the shower/toilet which we found odd and there are only paper cups for the tea/coffee. After a few uses they became a big soggy. Not sure why they couldn’t have a china cup and glass as there is a bar downstairs. There is an amazing roof top garden which was so lovely to chill on and caught lots of sun. I know the price is at the lower end, but with a few small changes it would be amazing.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The location right on plaça del sol was fantastic, right in the middle of local culture and off the beaten tourist path of the city center. Judith at the front desk was also super accommodating, making my stay easy and pleasant.

Zimmer für 2 Personen etwas zu klein , der Mini Kühlschrank (wie auf den Bildern) hat gefehlt . Schall Isolierung nach außen so wie auch im Hotel Sehr schlecht , man hört fast jedes Wort des Nachbarn sowie die Straßen die schon etwas lauter sind abends. Frühstück war in Ordnung aber seltsam serviert : man kommt an einen bereits gedeckten Tisch mit Saft , 2 Croissants und ein belegtes Brötchen mit Wurst , dass war’s an Auswahl Lage sehr gut wenn man abends gern weg geht

The La Gracia neighborhood is a wonderful community filled with great local businesses. You will find fantastic food, coffee, bakeries shopping and groceries in a safe walkable community. We loved our stay at Sonder in Placa de Sol. The plaza is a wonderful area where the local community activities occur. Sonder placa de Sol is a very walkable location close to other neighborhoods, public transportation and everything you need. The staff is amazing, always there to help or answer questions. They have excellent recommendations and are very accommodating. The space is perfect for a stay in La Gracia. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided are a high quality natural brand and was a nice added touch. The view of the plaza from the room balcony was perfect. Very charming place to watch the local life and enjoy the community. We hope to be back soon! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

What a fantastic property! Having never been to Barcelona before, we were “green” as to where to stay. The Gràcia quarter was amazing and this hotel is at the heart of it all. Located right next to a central square full of shops and restaurants, the area comes alive in the late afternoon in to the evening. Families out just living life! Our balcony overlooked it all, and even though the room was extremely quiet, we chose to have our balcony door open to soak it all in. The rooms are amazing, the staff extremely helpful and everything you require is mere steps away. Stay here, you won’t regret it. Sonder does it right!
