The accommodation was very nice. The location is very idyllic with the view on the Pena palace and Moorish castle. There is a nice pool with all the needed beds and towels available. You have multiple places to sit outside and around the accomodations there is a well maintained garden. A perfect place to relax. In the morning you can have breakfast outside of inside in a nice breakfast area. The location is not in the mid centre, but easily reachable with the car. If you want, you can travel by uber to the city or sightseeing. You can easily go to Lisbon or Cascais, but we recommend to see all the beautiful places/palaces in and around Sintra. You can easily fill a few days with sightseeings and beautiful parks. The room we had was nice and clean. Everything we needed was available. Every day they came and made the bed and placed new towels. Also the service was very nice. We had a delay on our flight and arrived very late. All the time we had online contact with one of the staff. He was very kind and compasionate and wanted to make sure we arrived safely. The next day we checked in and the service was very lovely. We got a lot of tips and tricks for our travel and could always contact them if we needed anything. In conclusion, this is a perfect place if your on holiday and you want a place to relax after a day of going out or sightseeing (and there are a lot of beautiful places in Sintra to see!!). Or even if you want to stay a day at the pool. Thank you for everything!

I always look for properties that have a home feel and Quinta fits that description to the point! The location is excellent, away from the noisy touristy areas and yet close to all the attractions and great restaurants. Parking is abundant, the room was bright, clean and the view is magnificent! We were immersed in nayure with a prime view of Sintra's palaces! Most of all, the way we were treated by staff is something I have only seen in very few places. Everyone was not just helpful and friendly but also very loving and kind. We already have plans to go back.

Marcelo is a great host! So friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay across the valley from Sintra. You can sit at night by the pool and see the Pena Palace and Moorish Castle lit up at night.

Just a wonderful experience. The grounds are lovely and tranquil, and the pool is perfect for lounging after a day of touring Sintra. Breakfast is delicious and was served under a tree filled with flowers. The owners are super nice as well. I want go back.

We chose an area slightly remote and it was an oasis at the end of busy days. Very close to stove for food, groceries, sights. Had unusually bad weather and a bout of sickness so didn’t enjoy the vast grounds and pool as much as could have but absolutely would recommend this place to couples and families. Kitchen was great. Came back for a night after Porto and had the room with the upper patio/kitchen (fabulous) but was a family suite (2 rooms)that we didn’t need so much space. Tina always around to be helpful even during her early morning exercise. Andre perfect for communications about anything!! Code for gate great for our late night arrivals. Cleaned our room every day. Motorcycles like to race past on long stretch of road outside Quinta but more funny than disturbing. Lots of parking. Tight area if parking under the cover but keeps out of rain. Can drive to upper rooms to unload/load. Thank you all. Excellent!

Great stay at Quinta Verde Sintra! We were welcomed with coffee and pastry upon arrival and our room was ready early. Waited around and napped by the pool area, which is beautiful. Very easy to communicate with Andre and he was more than happy to help with anything we needed including restaurant recommendations and lining up an early morning ride to the airport so we did not have to stress over Ubers. The area is peaceful yet still close to coastal towns, palaces and Lisbon. Well-run, clean, friendly and a great place to vacation! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Jammer dat wij er zo kort waren , mooie ruime kamer , badkamer ruim . En een heerlijk bed.Er staat en piepklein waterkoker en een. Koffiezetapparaat. Het is de bedoeling dat er nog een keukentje komt . Groot terras . En een zeer mooie tuin met een nog mooier uitzicht. Met in de verte het paleis. Er is een zwembad. De quinta ligt wel aan een drukke weg hier geen last van maar kan een beetje lastig zijn bij het aankomen. Sintra het beste te doen met de taxi . Eigenaars echt super lief. Wij zouden graag nog een keer terug komen naar dit paradijsje wat een rust hier .

Absolutely wonderful stay- the room was perfect also the pool and gardens and we were looked after so kindly and beautfully. Marcelo the manager took care of everything and even drove us to destinations we had for a wedding. An absolutely beautiful property. A slice of heaven which seems far away but is actually close to many restaurants and only a 15 minute drive to the attractions in Sintra. The host Andre and his manager Marcelo were fabulous. Very helpful in many areas. I wish we had booked this place for longer, we hated to leave.

This beautiful property & it’s friendly, helpful owners were definitely a highlight of our Portugal trip - wish we could have stayed longer. Owners Andre and Tina gave us valuable information about how to navigate Sintra’s historical sites; everything from timing our trip to the Pena Palace to where to find free parking in Sintra. We had a delicious, reasonably priced supper at one of the restaurants they recommended. This was a quiet and charming property that acted as our base to experience Sintra, which was a 10-minute drive away. We loved the sweeping view of the valley and the Pena Palace at the top of the hillside. The staff was friendly and helpful, including providing tips on parking and sightseeing. The local restaurants Marcelo recommended were excellent and authentic Portuguese. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the Sintra area without the hustle and bustle of being in-town.

We had a wonderful stay at Quinte Verde Sintra. Hotel (or Bed and Breakfast?) grounds are wonderful and you can see the Moorish Castle from the pool - breathtaking views! You do need a car though or Uber (or both if you are not comfortable driving around the Sintra palaces in narrow and busy streets). Owner was very welcoming and informative on how to enjoy our stay and park our cars, breakfast (optional) was a great way to start the day. Thank you very much, we will be back!

Very quiet and beautiful place away from the city. It's about 5 to 10 minute drive from Sintra depends on the time you're driving. It is not a hotel. It is a house that is converted into the hotel. So if you are looking for a hotel this is not the place for you. Staff was very helpful very friendly. Nice breakfast.

bel endroit. on n y a pas profité vraiment (pluie tout le temps) Facile de laisser ses bagages. A 4/5 km des sites tout de même. Code d accès difficile à avoir lorsqu on n a pas de téléphone local et à 9h du soir... Seul point (très noir) : mauvais petit déjeuner. pour 12 euros par personne, allez ailleurs. deux tranches de saucisson, deux tranches de fromage transparent, omelette hyper salée, jus d orange coupé à l eau, et communication difficile avec la langue. Une impression de rationnement incompréhensible. Rien à voir avec un buffet digne de ce nom. Pourtant l endroit n a pas l air au bord de la faillite. Great place to stay in the area close to the main attractions and not far of a drive to some beautiful beaches. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

A wonderful place to stay. Marcel was so helpful in recommending place to park, eat,see etc... property is amazing, would definitely stay here again. My only issue would be the breakfast - we thought it expensive for what was served. However it is optional and you can choose yourself. Thanks for making our stay in Sintra area so memorable

This was a beautiful property run by a beautiful family. We were so grateful we stayed here rather than the other options in town. Waking up to the stunning views of rolling hills and a delightful breakfast made this a perfect part of our trip. Thank you!

Just a wonderful experience. The grounds are lovely and tranquil, and the pool is perfect for lounging after a day of touring Sintra. Breakfast is delicious and was served under a tree filled with flowers. The owners are super nice as well. I want go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Quinte Verde Sintra. Hotel (or Bed and Breakfast?) grounds are wonderful and you can see the Moorish Castle from the pool - breathtaking views! You do need a car though or Uber (or both if you are not comfortable driving around the Sintra palaces in narrow and busy streets). Owner was very welcoming and informative on how to enjoy our stay and park our cars, breakfast (optional) was a great way to start the day. Thank you very much, we will be back!

The personal service for breakfast was a big plus. Nice pool. Very secure premises with security gate at the road entrance. No amenities in walking distance. Serve yourself bsr on site.
