The receptionists were very friendly and attentive. They have amazing amenities such as free meals, up to 5 free alcoholic drinks, massage chairs, mangas, etc. the place is very clean and from my experience, all the other guests were not loud at all.

This place is good to be an onsen, the onsen itself is really good, they have a place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the capsule and includes beverages, beer, wine, even popcorn, free amenities like toothpaste and toothbrush, q-tips, shampoo, razors and foam. The hall of the capsules smells like feet and I imagine why. Inside the capsule it was never a issue, they have a little fan and a curtain and if you want to go extra a little tv. The only problem is you go need to go to first floor to your belongings. You can take a backpack with your stuff and let them in the capsule. The capsule is comfy, they have the fan a little curtain to separate from the neighbors. If the lights from the hall bothers you, you can try to put the curtain inside and that solves the problem. Everything is walking and is a great location to stay a few days.

Such a wonderful experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the amenities are excellent (awesome sauna and mineral soaking bath, free drink bar in the lounge every evening), and the location could not be better for conveniently getting around the city - or exploring incredible Shinjuku City. Cannot wait to return on my next visit to Tokyo!

Capusle hotel for men only in a great location by Shinjuku Station. Place exceptionally clean and provides lots of amenities as well as some food and drinks including alcohol. Logistics is the key here and planning. With the lockers on the ground floor, capsules 4th to 7th and the showers on 2nd floor. The locker area was fairly dim and could have done with some seating. A small bag of the key essentials was handy to have, that fitted in the smaller shower lockers and also you could take to the capsule. It was just a case of remembering to take everything you needed from the ground floor as the lift was slow and only stairs to the 3rd level. Shower area was clean and nice onsen bath and small sauna. Capsule was adequate and comfortable and included TV and charging facilities. For the price, location and things included hard to beat.

Best affordable stay during my Japan holiday. Comfy capsules with air-conditioning, fan, tv, power and a looot of complementary stuff to try and use in the facility. Free coffee, soft drinks, rice and booze as well as excellent massage-chairs, sauna and a big onsen. It would be hard to top this experience for that price.

Only a couple blocks from Shinjuku Station, this was very conveniently located with lots of great food options nearby. Anshin Oyado has so many amenities like the sento and free meals and drinks. I was impressed by all the complimentary toiletries—earplugs, breathing strips, cotton swabs, razors, hairbrushes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, and more. They’ll even let you keep the pajamas. I was very happy with my stay and can’t recommend this place enough. I would definitely come back here next time I visit Tokyo.

First time with capsule hotel experience. Excellent for solo travel. Enjoyed the onsen and massage chair onsite, and free booze after 5pm from wide selection of liqueur. Convenient lication in the heart of Shinjuku. Surprisingly quiet with a men only establishment. Everyone is respectful of others privacy and space. Top cleanliness as no shoes allowed once inside the well kept 7 storey building.

The employees keep this beautiful place extremely clean, the shower area is amazing and the lounge is kept super clean as well, now when it comes to the capsule they need to pay extra attention to it, at least wipe the walls.

First time staying in a capsule hotel. Would absolutely recommend Anshin Oayado Shinjuku. This place is spotless. Employees are non stop cleaning. Bathrooms were spotless. Their complimentary happy hour was very much like. Thank you for the glasses of wine! Bathrooms are also stocked with plenty of necessities if you happen to forget something. I had a capsule on the 6th floor. Very quiet. Only a few noises but nothing disturbing. Would stay again if traveling solo.

The pods are clean, and serve their purpose. Not all pods have a TV. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a weird smell that emanates from the pod area. Just a heads up, it has communal showers and basically public washrooms. The lounge area is great, with alot of amenities. The only thing I was not impressed with was that I had locked in with hotels.com at 137 per night, and the hotel charged me close to double that citing it was a Saturday ( just that night). For that reason alone I won't be returning. many amenities available.

It was bucket list item for me to stay at a capsule hotel and this place checked all the boxes. After traveling with others after my 2 weeks in Japan, I stayed here in Tokyo solo for two nights before I flew home. The entire place is super clean. The capsule was spacious enough for me and my floor of 64 capsules has only about 15 or so other guests, but bring earplugs .. a necessity. My capsule came with a big tv and headphones, though I rarely watched it. The onsen was relaxing and clean and the lounge area was quiet and comfortable, the massage chairs, free alcohol and drinks, curry, miso soup etc was a nice touch. Other guests (mostly people in their 20s to 40s) were quiet and the hotel played traditional Japanese Music or Classical in the lounge area. The location was amazingly convenient to everything Shinjuku. Very close to the Train/Subway stations and the bus that goes to the airports. This hotel is only for male guests, but I believe there is one for females nearby, the hotel offers brown "uniform" pants and a top for all guests to wear, so I liked to think of the place like a big pyjama party. I know that this hotel chain has other locations in Japan and I wish I had found them sooner.

Clean, beautiful place! Best capsule hotel in Shinjuku. Free food and alcohol. Delicious curry and rice breakfast. Bath house with spa (tattoo accepted) many shower amenities. This was probably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The only thing I didn’t like, was that my pod was right by the door, so I heard people coming in and out every night. If you stay here, I would suggest asking for the back of the room.

Bien mais les matelas et les Oreillers pourrais être plus confortable, un peu dispendieux au final, finalement pour le même prix j’ai trouver un hôtel avec chambre et Sdb privé aussi très bien situer à Tokyo.

The place was great to hang out! Free alcohol, food and amenities. Loved that! The problem is some capsules only have curtains and no roll up door, that was a let down and also it seemed like some dudes were running up and down and stomping on our floor late at night which was annoying with only a curtain to stop the noise was pretty lame. And the capsule was super warm which sucked.

The staff speak and understand enough English to communicate with. The area is very clean, this was my first time there and if I ever come back to the area it would be my go to place. The amenities and facilities are wonderful. I enjoyed my stay and I’m sure others have and will too.

Great place for me who want to visit japan while on a budget or is on their first trip to said country. Elevators maybe be slow, but you can circumvent it with the stairs for a more healther route. Staffs: very good, has english speakers. So you're covered on that end. Highly recomend it.

Great check in process for English speakers with a A4 handout given with very clear instructions and things you can use and take advantage of during your stay. Felt very safe, all guests were quiet and respectful when I stayed. Fantastic location, close to food, arcades and shopping, and easily walkable from Shinjuku station. I'd arrived after 10 hours of flying and having never been to Japan before, found the process of locating the accommodation easy with Google Maps. While I was concerned upon arriving to the Japan summer heat, the cooling in the capsules was adequate to me, I slept comfortably enough with the fan provided. The capsule floors themselves are air controlled also. I would have appreciated another pillow (only 1 provided) but perhaps this could be requested by staff! Note that none of the taller capsules I observed had televisions or other technology if you wish to have that as it didn't appear super clear by the listings what they would have inside. Also, as noted by some of the other reviews, the bathing/showers are on a different floor, so are the storage lockers, so you'll need to use the elevators a bit to get around, but I never found this to be a hindrance personally. Would recommend! Thanks for having me and making my trip to Japan a great one!

Only a couple blocks from Shinjuku Station, this was very conveniently located with lots of great food options nearby. Anshin Oyado has so many amenities like the sento and free meals and drinks. I was impressed by all the complimentary toiletries—earplugs, breathing strips, cotton swabs, razors, hairbrushes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, and more. They’ll even let you keep the pajamas. I was very happy with my stay and can’t recommend this place enough. I would definitely come back here next time I visit Tokyo.

A nice capsule hotel, in a wonderful location. Right beside Shinjuku Station. Good amenities and services. I wish there were storage on the capsule floor, as waiting for the elevator was quite time comsuming, especially just to quickly access some of you luggage. Overall, a good place to stay for a solo traveler.

Best affordable stay during my Japan holiday. Comfy capsules with air-conditioning, fan, tv, power and a looot of complementary stuff to try and use in the facility. Free coffee, soft drinks, rice and booze as well as excellent massage-chairs, sauna and a big onsen. It would be hard to top this experience for that price.

This place is good place to stay if you want to be near places in Shinjuku. The staff were helpful in explaining the amenities and answering questions. Some areas were a little unclean. The food provided is nothing fancy, but convient.

Amazing place and deal. Absolutely loved the hot baths and massage chairs and free food after a long day of exploring Tokyo. Perfect way to end the nights! Felt so refreshed every morning ready for the next day.

This is my third time to stay here when I explore Tokyo. One of the reasons is their location: next to JR Shinjuku Station and close to central business district. I can drop my luggage here and take one-day trip to Tokyo’s famous places on foot, by subways or buses. The other reason is the free foods and drinks they offer. Very high quality Japanese style meals: simple but delicious. I want to emphasize on their high quality rice, which is the main ingredient of their curry meal. So very impressed!

As I've said in prior reviews, a capsule hotel won't be for everyone, but if you're traveling solo and location and cost are of concern, then this place nails it. Another elevator would be nice, but the stairs are good exercise to burn off the delicious curry breakfast. Even on a full weekend they keep everything super clean.

Honestly a really good capsule experience, I didn't think the capsules would be the comfortable but they really were and the temperature was great, some capsules get really hot inside but this one was not like that which was nice. Really good location too!
