Very convenient location right in the Lonsdale Quay. We arrived too late for the indoor market but just next door was a Christmas market with lots of vendors, live entertainment, and outdoor skating. Also, right next to the seabus and the oceanfront walkway. My only complaint is the hot tub listed on Expedia was not open but I can't blame the hotel as it was not listed on their own webpage.

A nice hotel. Patking entrance can be tricky with the access very congested when buses are running. Staff are wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed shopping and eating in the market and nearby restaurants. Easy access to downtown by water taxi saved time and trouble getting to meetings. The main elevator was down while we were leaving there. Staff offered to find maintenance to operate another one but we had no time and fortunately just one small bag to take down stairs.

When we booked this hotel, we were unaware that we had to pay $30.00 a nights for parking and very little parking available. Plus not enough signs to get to the hotel register.

When it says pet friendly, it’s kinda worded as pets are accepted and included in price or nowhere on there. Does it say how much it is for a pet? It’s $35 and parking is also $35 per night a little bit misleading they actually don’t even have parking. It’s run by a private Parkade company. Nothing to do with the hotel.

Chose this Hotel as it had a restaurant on site. Even checked menu online. Got there to find it is no longer open for dinner. Had we known we would have gone elsewhere or eaten before checking in. Anything other than going out again in the cold. Need to update their website.

The hotel and market are right on the water, 2 minutes to SeaBus! There are lots of food options within just a couplr blocks. The waterside dock is very relaxing to sit and have a snack, watch the boats on the water or look at downtown all lit up at night! Parking for the hotel is $30/day and you're not guaranteed a spot. We've decided next trip to not even get a car...it's just not needed unless you're going to do day trips outside Vancouver.

Parking arrangements are very confusing. Front desk person actually came down to the parking facility to show us what machine to use and how to pay for parking at the reduced rate. Very helpful--but perhaps clearer instructions might be better.

The hotel was okay.. over priced in my opinion. The bathroom floor, walls and jacuzzi looked old and not clean, not like the pictures. The was a microwave places on top in a mini fridge and it look very ghetto for over $250 a night on sale

The first room we stayed in the balcony door did not work so they offered to move us into an upgraded room the next day, the room was the same but there was sticky spots all over the floor. I proceeded to take a face towel to clean the spot but what I seen was disgusting the cloth came out with so much grim and god knows what that it made me feel sick. I understand not moping a room every time people stay but come on! I don’t think it’s ever been moped. But I will say the beds are super comfy :)

First and foremost, I want to say how incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional the front desk staff are...the lack of stars has absolutely NOTHING to do with the staff at all. And nor does it have any bearing on the location...it is THE BEST. It is right inside the Lonsdale Quay...there is no better convenience than this. Now to the room...I had room 323, which had the most incredible view. Layout was good. The bed was quite comfortable. But important to note...this is a very old hotel. The last time I stayed here I vowed not to stay here again because of how gross and worn-down the hotel was...until I learned that Coast took over. I see they have done 'some' minor upgrades...newer laminate floors (vs. gross carpet), new mattresses, and bedding. It's more or less the same room, just 'appears' upgraded. But again can't really complain because of how economically priced it is...for what you get. This is where I take 2 stars away: the cleanliness of the room. Or lack there of. No matter how old the hotel is, I believe that a hotel room should be spick and span. The floor had a tackiness to it...like it hadn't been washed before. Thank goodness they provide complimentary slippers. The bathroom was not even close to up to par with what should be considered 'clean'. Finger prints on the toilet seat, someone's body hair on on the shower wall, calcium build up in shower corners, caked on dust on the electrical outlet, and splashes on the mirror. Book accordingly.

The staff were fantastic and our room was very clean.We did arrive very early and the room was going to be ready in an hour, however they kept our luggage in a secure room for us and we went for lunch. We will definately stay again.

The location of the hotel is ideal. The hotel is starting to show some aging. As well housekeeping wasn’t the best. Leftover food was in the mini fridge.

Location is fantastic - market is downstairs, had a view of quay and the military ships that were in. However, the balcony door didn't open at all, and the window only.opena a few inches - the A/C unit has certainly seen better days, so we felt a bit hot and stuffy in there. Shower pressure is quite weak, would have been nice to have a piece of artwork or two on the wall, and a bit of mold around the bathroom mirror.

The Lonsdale Quay provides a pleasant stay with wonderful staff, including especially the front desk, the restaurant, and the housekeeping staff. It is conveniently located close to many restaurants, in an area that is appealing for its views and proximity to transportation. The only challenge is the not-too-wonderful wifi connections.

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights and out of all 5 hotels we booked on our BC trip, this was the most expensive and the most difficult one of all. First of all parking is paid and we had to pay about $25-$30 per night, second non-adjustable room temperature. There was a conditioner but it was super loud and the cold air was blowing right at you in bed. I was afraid to wake up sick or congested and because of the noise it was hard to even fall asleep. The next day my husband was able to turn this thing off by switching but of course it bacame too hot so we had to turn it back on again. For the second night, I had to build a wall in front of it with bags and towels so that it doesn't blow on our faces. These were hard two nights. Lastly, there was no ventilation switch in the washroom. So if someone use it for second, be prepared for some aroma coming from there. Some of the things I enjoyed it a bath robe, slippers and a small balcony overlooking Vancouver downtown.

I came with my young daughter and we were looking forward to watching a movie after our dinner out. Unfortunately our room had no option to order movies. The front desk shared that some of the rooms did have smart tvs and some didn’t. It’s unfortunate after spending $425 for a night that we did not.

Staff were lovely. Very friendly and kind. It’s still an older hotel with things like very small TVs in the rooms and old fridges and microwaves. The bed was comfortable. Pillows are a little too hard, but that’s just personal preference. It’s always a nice place to stay because it’s so close to everything. I did, however, get locked in the ice and vending machine room because the door knob was broken. It only took about 10 minutes for someone to find me, and I alerted staff and they were very concerned and said they would fix it right away. Overall, I’ll stay again.

This really is a very average hotel based on the rating criteria but, Harry, the front desk employee made us feel like we were staying at Claridge's in London. Harry turned an average hotel into an excellent hotel for us. We were staying there for medical reasons and he went above and beyond to meet our needs. Coast hotels is very lucky to this man as an employee and should be grateful that he can turn an average hotel into a luxury experience. Well done.

The staff were fantastic and our room was very clean.We did arrive very early and the room was going to be ready in an hour, however they kept our luggage in a secure room for us and we went for lunch. We will definately stay again.

The front desk was very responsive. When we requested an extra blanket they came through. We did request house cleaning staff to make up the room after the first night, but for some reason it didn’t happen.

There was no decaffeinated coffee in the room so we called the front desk to get some brought up. We called 5 times from room phone with no answer. I called the hotel number from my phone and finally after 6 rings they answered. Very frustrating. Also no upgrades as I was told they were sold out , which I know they weren't as there was availability on Expedia!!!

This was a great location on top of the market, although we did find parking was a bit tricky to locate our first night there...no problems afterwards of course. Downtown Vancouver was only a seabus trip away plus quick access to major routes including the famous sea to sky highway. Topping it all off is the shipyards, a truly unique and enjoyable place. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

This is our second time staying here and we love the nearby shops, close proximity to the sea bus and dining options. It's affordable, clean and the staff are friendly. It could use a couple little upgrades like a vent or fan in the bathroom, but overall, it's a good place to stay while in Vancouver.

We were new to the area. The lack of signage for the actual hotel made it difficult to find. With it being above the market, at street level you wonder why Google maps tells you you've arrived!

The hotel and market are right on the water, 2 minutes to SeaBus! There are lots of food options within just a couplr blocks. The waterside dock is very relaxing to sit and have a snack, watch the boats on the water or look at downtown all lit up at night! Parking for the hotel is $30/day and you're not guaranteed a spot. We've decided next trip to not even get a car...it's just not needed unless you're going to do day trips outside Vancouver.

Wasn't sure about location being in North Vancouver but being by the Seabus made everything very convenient. Lots of restaurants of every description and price within a 5 minute walk of hotel. Not a hundred percent sure but I think most rooms are water views. The only downside was when we arrived the hotel doesn't have much of a sign making it confusing for guest and the Uber driver.

With an easy walking distance to many restaurants at a walkway along the Vancouver harbor. I can get off the ferry from the waterfront area of Vancouver and I am within steps of the hotel. Beautiful view of the harbor from the room. I like staying at this hotel before my cruises out of One Canada Place.

For the price this hotel is NOT worth it. The patios had old dirty plastic furniture, the flower beds had last years dead plants in them. The furniture in the rooms was old and warn out. Upon check in we had to produce receipts from 6 months ago when we booked our stay to prove that we had paid otherwise the front desk wanted us to pay again. The breakfast room had 3 tables, coffee and tea and a basket of store bought granola bars. We would not stay here again.

Chose this Hotel as it had a restaurant on site. Even checked menu online. Got there to find it is no longer open for dinner. Had we known we would have gone elsewhere or eaten before checking in. Anything other than going out again in the cold. Need to update their website.

This is a nice & clean hotel, in a beautiful part of Vancouver. A scenic Seabus ride takes you to the heart of Vancouver for when you want to immerse yourself in all that the city has to offer. This area however is a bit more relaxed, with the calm vibe of the water, the variety of shopping in the Shipyards & Lonsdale Market, and the charm of North Van. They currently have some renovations happening, but that didn't really affect my stay. And if you're driving, pay attention to their directions for parking, or else you might end up paying $$$ in one of the competitors lots!

Our second stay in 3 days and we are just as impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. There is a note in the lift saying rooms are being refreshed - the bathroom has a few blemishes, but in no way detracts from the stay.
