As long as you realize that this is a one-star place, you get value for money. For the price, the continental breakfast is beyter than I've had elsewhere. Sure, the sink in rhe room could have drained faster and there could have been air conditioning, but the shared showers and toilets were relatively clean. They were individual, little lockable cabin-like things. If you were inside one of them, you felt like you were at an RV park.

Be aware this is really more of a hostel than a hotel. Room had a sink but WCs and showers are shared. No other facilities to speak of. The room itself was clean, and fine overall but the price was clearly increased because of expected RWC numbers. Hugely overpriced on that basis but if you want a simple bed and you can get it cheap, overall it was OK. Easy 10 minute walk into town.
Be aware this is really more of a hostel than a hotel. Room had a sink but WCs and showers are shared. No other facilities to speak of. We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest option over the Braderie weekend. Obviously prices were excessively inflated in all Lille hotels for the weekend, so this seemed much more reasonable value. We also booked a room with sharing communal toilet and bathroom - which I have to say, I was incredibly nervous about. The reality was the hotel was absolutely fine. Sharing facilities is a slightly strange experience, but was manageable for a weekend! The hotel was a 25 minute walk from the centre of town, but a Metro stop is very close by and Ubers were very efficient. All weekend the hotel was very quiet and seem safe. I think in the height of the summer, the room might be very hot though, as there is no air-conditioning. Room was very basic, but that was fine. They can provide a towel if you want, although you might want to take your own. We didn’t eat the (chargeable) breakfast, so can’t comment on that. There is the facility to leave your bags in the bagroom once you’ve checked out, which was really helpful. We also found all the staff to be really lovely and helpful. And thankfully a couple of them did speak English, which was really helpful to us. Overall, a perfect location for the Braderie weekend if you don’t want to pay the outrageous prices of the other hotels in town. Communal bathroom a novelty, but we managed to survive it. Would highly recommend the hotel if you want very good value for money and aren’t too worried about luxury living!

The property was clean and nicely kept. Except for the mold in the showers and bathrooms. It's on the vents, shower heads, joints in the shower walls, ceiling. It needs a good deep cleaning. This isn't good to breathe! Bed was good. Pillows were ok. Good price.

Chambre a l hygienes plus que douteuse : Sol plein de taches, ui avaient dû etre simplement essuyees Radiatieur qui n a du jamais voir l ombre d un nettoyage, plei de degoulinure arron Douche sales, distributeur de savon casses, et quand il est encore existant..ben cest plein de degoulinures, de calcaire.. on sort de la douche avec la senatiin d etre sale. Lindge de toilette en sus... des serviettes roulee.. qui semble plus a des tapis de bain qu a des serviettes... Voisinage hyper bruyants, qui stationne assis derriere la la porte de votre chambre... Les lits semblaient propres.. malheureusement ca n a pas suffit. Cest chambre ressemble plus a des cellules de prisons..

Lit mal fait et sale, serviettes mouillées mal pliées, cheveux dans la douche, chasse d'eau non tirée. Visiblement ménage pas fait avant mon arrivée. J'ai demandé une autre chambre , on m'en a donné une sans salle de bain (alors que j'ai payé pour) odeur de sale, d'humidité et de cigarette dans cette dernière . Rooms are incredibly small, bed occupies most of the floor space. Not all have en suite and those that do have very small bathrooms. There are no clothes hanging facilities just some hooks on the wall. We were 1 room short on arrival and another one of our booked rooms had another guest already in it. It is more youth hostel standard than hotel which was disappointing given the 220 euro price tag per night which had been inflated for the rugby weekend. Following day rooms dropped to 39 euros which more accurately reflects their worth

This was adequate enough for our stay but it is more of a hostel than a hotel, with very sparse rooms, no duvets and communal washing and toilet facilities. Prices were significantly hiked for the rugby World Cup and did not feel like good value. Location close enough for Lille, quiet and easy to get to from Calais.

Literie à changer en urgence. impossible de dormir car lit qui grince au moindre mouvement. Celui au bougeait non seulement était réveillé par les bruits mais ces mêmes bruits réveillaient également le compagnon de chambrée. En bref, infernal. Sans compter le sans-gêne des autres occupants qui dès 6 heures du matin se permettaient de parler assez fort (nous avons également pu constater que des enfants criaient à 7 heures sans la moindre réaction des parents) pour réveiller tout l'étage. Etant une adepte du concept et ayant séjourné dans d'autres établissements de la marque, c'est avec tristesse que je n'aurai que ces mots : soit mon époux et moi n'avons pas eu de chance soit c'est à fuir.. Attention à l'ENORME nid de poule à l'entrée de l'hôtel. vu son état, il ne date pas d'hier. il serait également temps de faire quelque chose en urgence. C'est un coup à y laisser son essieu !!!

We checked in and determined this was not a property for us. The room was perfectly clean but quite small. However, the bed was small and saggy toward the middle, so we knew we would not sleep confortably. Unrelated transit issues made getting in and out of the city more difficult than expected, so we chose to relocate nearer the train station.

For the price I honestly cannot fault it, obviously not gonna be a five star experience but then again they're not claiming to be. It's shared bathroom and showers with the whole floor but there are plenty of cubicles and they're all clean and individual. Staff were very friendly and patient with my terrible French. You have to bring your own towel however or pay €1.50 at reception. It's on the outskirts of town, maybe a 45 minute walk away from the centre but there's a metro station about 5 minutes away which runs till late and a lime bike dock not far from that. Don't bother with breakfast as by the time you're awake it'll probably all be gone but that's no worry as there's an Aldi 30 seconds from it.

This is a great place to stop when you are on the way to somewhere. Next to the motorway and Aldi and Intermarche. Ideal as it's also walkable to the centre ofLille. Staff at the hotel were friendly and rooms were exactly as I expected.

Second time of staying here. We choose this hotel because it's one of the most reasonably priced for the Braderie weekend. As such, its a relatively good price compared to elsewhere. The hotel is basic, but absolutely fine. There is a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station which is the easiest way to get into town. There is a spacious car park. Hotel is quiet. Rooms are very basic (it would be nice if they put some hooks to hang things in rooms!). All the staff were very nice. They provided towels. Rooms are probably quite hot in the height of summer as there is no aircon. Overall, we did two nights (that's as much as I would have wanted to do) and had a great time at the Braderie and the hotel was just perfect for the price.

As long as you realize that this is a one-star place, you get value for money. For the price, the continental breakfast is beyter than I've had elsewhere. Sure, the sink in rhe room could have drained faster and there could have been air conditioning, but the shared showers and toilets were relatively clean. They were individual, little lockable cabin-like things. If you were inside one of them, you felt like you were at an RV park.

On ne pouvait pas s attendre à des miracles pour le tarif . Juste l odeur dans la chambre était forte . Impossible de mettre certaines chaînes de tv uniquement la 1 2 et 6. Sur internet la formule avec petit déjeuner compte seulement un petit dej par chambre obliger d en reprendre sur place. Douche et wc selaré était correcte plutôt propre

It is in a quiet location next to Aldi, and a superstore which is 30 seconds away. The rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped. It was very good value. The room can get stuffy when the window is closed. It could do with a fan, or air conditioning. The tram stop is a few minutes walk. The breakfast is basic it consists of baguettes and pastries, and a selection of drinks.

You get what you pay for, the Ritz it certainly isn’t. Basic, I had an en-suite room and that was small, certainly wouldn’t swing a cat in it. Sink had no plug, it was the design, had to leave the water running. There was a strong smell of cannabis from inside the hotel. It served a purpose.
