The hotel was very comfortable, clean and in good condition. However, the restaurant is another matter - breakfast items ran out very quickly and were not replaced as soon as they should have been One morning they ran out of baguettes - in France???? Evening meals were very limited, four starters, four mains, four puddings, the same menu for two months Service was unbelievably slow, it took us 1.5hrs to get a main course. Very nice swimming pool and area and near to lake, very pleasant.

This was a great property for a four-person family. The room was perfect for our purposes, the area and hotel was quiet, and the breakfasts were great. The kids loved the pool, and there are great kids' parks around. There are also a wide variety of restaurants within short driving distance.

Très bon service et personnel adorable. Une piscine très appréciable et propre Seul bémol les chambres qui sont un peu vieillissante pour un 4 étoile mais qui restent tout de même bien et fonctionnelles

Bon hôtel pour une étape chambre petite pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants mais convient pour une étape. Lac a toute proximité jeux pour enfants au bord du lac et en prime une piscine mais pas chauffée

The service from staff was fantastic, efficient and friendly. Bed was comfortable and room clean with nice bathroom products. Negatives: swimming pool opening times, I wish they would be advertised when booking. It was a reason we chose to stay there but the pool didn’t open until 10am and when you have to check out at 11. The English TV channels didn’t work, yes we’re in France and that’s fine, but don’t advertise having any for them not to work. The USB port didn’t work on the side of the bed either

Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée. L accueil fut chaleureux et professionnel, les deux chambres grandes, propres et avec des lits très confortables. J ai choisi cet hôtel car il y a des chargeurs pour véhicules électriques et je ne suis pas déçue. Je reviendrai pour profiter aussi de la belle terrasse.

Good overnight stop on the way to Dordogne. Efficient reception, excellent parking. Ideal for travel with a dog: ground floor room, woodland and lake. Breakfast was cleared away with military zeal at 9.25 which seemed remarkably early for an hotel catering to people on vacation.

J’ai fait la remarque à l’accueil je n’ai pas eu de réponses très appropriées Je ne comprends pas qu’il y est de la moquette pour recevoir des animaux qui devrait pas être dans des chambres pas très hygiénique J’aime les animaux mais chacun a sa place On aurait pu nous proposer une autre chambre

Staff very polite and helpful. Cooling system an absolute joke during scorching temperature. In the main area barely noticeable, in the room very low! Food average, breakfast not worth it for the money paid. By 8:45 was very little left and food not stocked up. Hotel very well located close to the motorways and with wonderful surroundings. Worth it regardless and with room for improvements ( no pun intended ).

Le personnel est d une gentillesse et d' une bienveillance assez exceptionnelle .Les chambres sont correctes mais il manque un coffre fort et surtout elles manquent de luminosité ce qui est génant quand on veut travailler un peu dans sa chambre

Extremely disappointed. The staff whose name was "Audrey" made our check-in a terribly unpleasant experience. First she asked for our names. She didn't find it in her system and got a little unpleasant while we did’nt know which name we booked in....she asked for first name but it turned out she was looking for our last name. No big deal we thought. In the booking, we have written 2 adults, 2 children (6 and 8 years old), and added in a comment to the hotel that we also have an infant with us for whom we would like a baby crib. Got an email from the hotel confirming that it is okay, that they will set up a baby crib in the room. But when Audrey's sees our baby, she rolls her eyes and says "you're 5 persons it’s not possible, you can't stay here" we try to resolve the situation but unfortunately she doesn't want to help and is extremely unpleasant and rude. Almost screams and finally tells me to shut up. Never experienced similar treatment.... When we then ask if we can cancel the accommodation, which she refuses and say: you have to cancel the day before..,even though we completed the booking 2 hours ago. We call hotels.com customer service for help, he also talks to your employee who refuses to be helpful. In the end, we are then forced to book an extra double room for SEK 1,869 so that our infant can stay at the property. A room we won't even use. The Audrey in question went and hid in the office. Not okay at all!

Nous avons fait une étape dans cet hôtel pour la deuxième fois cette année. Nous avons mis 1h30 à obtenir notre chambre, avec un bébé de 6 mois.... Nous avons pu enfin monter en chambre à 19h30.... Le personnel de l'accueil n'était absolument pas qualifié et nous a laissé attendre car ne voyait pas notre réservation. Elle nous a même demandé de repayer la chambre si on voulait être installés... J'ai dû moi-même appeler Hotels.com pour essayer de régler le problème. Pas du tout professionnel. Et aucune proposition d'aide pour monter les valises.

À mon arrivée, le restaurant de l’hôtel était fermé et personne ne m’en avait informé en amont alors que la réservation datait de plus de 2 semaines. L’hôtel était en grande partie privatisé pour un séminaire d’entreprise. Ce séminaire s’est terminé en beuverie géante (musique à fond dans une salle de réception, puis dans les chambres, viande saoule qui vociférait dans les couloirs). Il m’a été impossible de dormir jusqu’à 4h du matin. L’hôtel n’a pas fait le nécessaire pour me garantir une nuit convenable. Tout cela au tarif de 180 € hors petit déjeuner et environ 200 € si on compte le petit déjeuner pris sur place. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet établissement.

Staff very polite and helpful. Cooling system an absolute joke during scorching temperature. In the main area barely noticeable, in the room very low! Food average, breakfast not worth it for the money paid. By 8:45 was very little left and food not stocked up. Hotel very well located close to the motorways and with wonderful surroundings. Worth it regardless and with room for improvements ( no pun intended ).

Location next to the lake was really nice, we had a lake view room which looked over the pool and lake which was great. Clean and comfortable hotel. Looks a bit dated from the outside. It’s a couple of mile into Limoges centre and not much to see in the immediate area other than the lake and a kids play park. I found the hotels restaurant a bit disappointing, menu was very limited on an evening and found it overpriced. The breakfast was pretty good although at 19.50 euros per head I’m not sure it was good value for money. I have to say we thought the housekeeping staff were wonderful, always said hello and checked we had everything we needed!

Good overnight stop on the way to Dordogne. Efficient reception, excellent parking. Ideal for travel with a dog: ground floor room, woodland and lake. Breakfast was cleared away with military zeal at 9.25 which seemed remarkably early for an hotel catering to people on vacation.

Evening meals were very limited, four starters, four mains, four puddings, the same menu for two months Service was unbelievably slow, it took us 1.5hrs to get a main course. Mooie locatie, Goed merkbaar dat er een personeels tekort is. 3 persoons kamer geboekt toch 1 gekregen die voor 2 persoons was. Avond eten gereserveerd dit was zeer matig na lange tijd wachten pas geholpen. Weinig opties kwa eten wel goede. Alleen sausjes of iets erbij was er niet en je moest ook lang op je drinken wachten. Wij komen elk jaar bij meerdere novotels dit was voor het eerst eentje die erg tegenvalt helaas.

we stay here twice a year, once on our way down to South of France and then on our return. We take our dogs with us, there is a lake with a path leading around it, couple of laps and doggies happy. Swimming pool, son is happy. Parking, bar and restaurant Mum and Dad happy!! We try to get there early, have an early supper, food good, even with a fussy 11 year old. Breakfast also good, best to have either early pre 8 am or later 9.30 ish. Great hotel.

Good free parking at the hotel, and they had a number of EV chargers. Staff were all really polite and helpful. Room was good, with a sofa and mini-fridge. Lots of families seemed to be passing thru for 1N because of the convenient location travelling N>S (or S>N!) through France. This was July so there were lots of kids in the swimming pool. We didn’t book breakfast so cannot comment. Overall a good location for car journeys - not really walkable to places (as far as we could tell) - so we would probably stop here again on our way from South of France to UK.
