Upon arrival, our room was ready and clean. While very close to the airport and a paid 24 hour shuttle are very convenient, there are no amenities around the area. The Holiday Inn itself has a restaurant in which we ate dinner as we had no other choice and our room included a free breakfast, which was great as it opened at 5 AM so we were able to eat before we went to the airport, the hotel itself is very simple. It met our needs of a place to stay the night before an early flight not really a place to stay long-term.

Hotel rooms clean, even if a little worn. We stayed 1 night so didn’t mind. There is a free shuttle bus that you walk to bus stop about 5 min from hotel. Or you can pay for hotel shuttle. We picked the free shuttle and it worked out for our family of 7.

While close to the airport, it is not easy to find on the free shuttle bus and signposting is scarce, so definitely book the hotel bus 15 euro per room if you can. Check-in super quick and efficient, good drink selection at the bar and great food and service in the restaurant. Breakfast included, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and usual continental selection. Return shuttle bus on time and easy to book.

This hotel was exactly what was required. Clean and comfortable room. Front desk staff and breakfast staff very pleasant and efficient. Best breakfast buffet I have experienced in a Holiday Inn express. Fruit, yogurt, hot eggs, bacon, full range of pastries and tarts. The shuttle was 18 eu per room booked the night before. We took a taxi from airport the night before at 20eu for two adults with 2 large suitcases and two carry on. So fair price. Shuttle is not run by hotel but appears to be an area shuttle. If taking train, try to start from terminal 2 which is smaller with fewer people. It was easy seating at terminal 2 but then standing room only by the time people boarded at terminal 1.

The worse Holiday Inn Express I booked a room at this hotel then I sent messages to confirm the room I booked has two separate beds. No response. I kept sending more than 20 messages, literally 20, in the following days; still no response. At the time I checked in the hotel, I request to speak to the management. There was no manager at the hotel. The air con control panel at the room is broken. Stains on the carpet in the corridor are found. This particular Holiday Inn Express has serious management problems. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and IHG hotels. This one is definitely the worse one.

The facility was comfortable but our bathroom had mold in the corners off the shower. We forwarded the information to the staff. Also, transportation to and from the airport has to be arranged and cost $15 Euros per person - we thought that was pretty expensive, considering our next hotel provided a shuttle free of charge. The food at the restaurant was excellent!

Brand new. Very Clean. Next to airport so get both airport noise, freeway noise…Additionallt we were unfortunately above the giant AC unit which did not cool our room but did make opening the tiny window impossible because of the noise. Room was stuffy, bedding was synthetic which made the night particularly sweaty.

Room was okay! It needed up dating with new floor and furniture. The shower sides leaked water out the bases getting the floor all wet. And the Bed was very hard. I think this J's just a European thing. All the beds I slept on during a 2 week stay were hard, at least for me The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great. The free transfer shuttle is a bit of walk to reach but is fine as long as the weather is decent!

It was a long day for us and the first front desk staff could not find my booking so we had to wait there to figure out what's going on. Yet later another girl came and told us she found it after a while. No apology were said by their staff and they had nothing to say. Very disturbing experience and would definitely not considering staying here next time.

Pros ....The room was good, very clean and suitable for a 1 night stay. Internet was ok. Breakfast was adequate with a number of different choices. Cons .. the hotel has a shuttle bus service from the airport. When I emailed them about it, they advised that it is €15 each way per room,. They also gave me a couple of other choices to get to the hotel which were on the free bus which stops about 200 meters away. However not knowing the area, we decided to pay the €15 each way. We were advised to ring hotel when we arrived and they would send someone to pick us up. We were told to wait outside Door 10 for pick up shortly. After waiting over half an hour we rang again and we were told someone would be there in 10 mins. Another 25 mins passed and we rang again, only to be told we were waiting at the wrong place,so we went down to the front of the Sheraton to wait and we would be picked up from there. After 15 mins, I rang again and were told again, that we should be at Door 10. I told the man we had been there for over an hour and nobody showed up. He apologised and said someone would be there in a few mins. So off we went again, and finally after 2 hours we were picked up, driver apologising for the delay. Honestly does anyone at the hotel know what is going on? So I would not recommend this place to anyone who comes by plane. It was a nightmare. First hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world who has a charge placed on an airport shuttle .. they are usually free.

After our cruise from Genoa we traveled to the Holiday Inn Express at the Milan Airport and stayed two nights before flying out. It was a nice relaxing recoup before our long flight back to NYC. The hotel is clean, quiet with a nice restaurant that opens in the evening. The staff is amazing.

The stay was great after a not very good stay in June. The only issue was the lack of electrical outlets. We’ve stayed her frequently but not in this type of room and there were no electricity outlets on the bed side of the room which nade it difficult for my spouse to pkug in his cpap machine. They did have USB and C type charger outlets, which were a nice addition from previous rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and the drinks at the bar were goid and affordable. Check in and out were fadt and efficient. The air conditioner issues we experienced in June were fixed and the room was nicely cool. We've been staying here for 10 years as our 'go to' location before flying out of MXP and this stay refreshed our confidence in the hotel.

Good price and comfortable room. Staff helpful and friendly but some problems encountered with travel from airport. Distance quoted from the airport looks easy to walk but is almost impossible due to roads and the airport itself. The shuttle bus should also run more frequently to assist people getting from the airport - the free bus is not very convenient.

Good location and price if you need to stay near Milan Malpensa Airport. The hotel is very clean, has a small bar, free breakfast, and is open for dinner from 7-9 pm. You can pay for an airport shuttle arranged by the hotel or walk 2 minutes down the street and catch the free airport bus. There is also a small bakery/pizzeria and another small restaurant within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. One note, there is really nothing else to do in the airport area without a car or taking the train.

Hotel was fine but getting there from Malpensa Airport was a nightmare. No information on where to get a shuttle. You must order a shuttle but difficult to connect with the hotel. . Finally found a bus after asking around and it left us 1/4 mile away. Taxis are not an option as too close a fare. Would book a different hotel in future in terminal grounds

Unfortunately our evening meal in restaurant very poor,room has no atmosphere ( husband kept saying it's like a school dinner hall...I pointed out our school dinner hall much nicer!) . Soup tinned ( I'd guess) . I had to send my main course back...beef cheek so full of gristle I couldn't even cut it) . Bedroom window faulty and wouldn't shut properly. On leaving had queries at reception location of shuttle bus to terminal....man told us to stand across road from stop at end of road....bus drove past us ..stop was 800m up the road....had to wait 20 minutes for next bus...not what you need when aiming for a check in time.

Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located close to the airport. We stayed one night to catch a flight the next morning. We were a bit confused about the free shuttle from the airport (coming from Milan) to reach the hotel, but airport staff helped to confirm the pickup location. Smooth sailing. The food at the restaurant was good too, after a long day of travel.
