Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was perfect, great water pressure. Balcony was so nice. Location was perfect with a nice supermarket next door. Parking in the underground parkade was very easy for European parkades. Still very narrow of course! Would def stay here again.

Really disappointed to have booked a hotel with a pool and the pool not be available. Even though it was advertised as being available 'June - September' and we were there in mid September, sunny and 25+ degrees every day. When I sent a message I was met with an incredibly unprofessional 8-word response, and when I followed up they ignored me. Without this, the experience was only ok. The breakfast seemed ridiculously over-priced so we didn't use that. I'd strongly recommend choosing a different hotel as they over-charge for what your getting versus other hotels in the area.

Yes, the room was clean, condition ok, but it is an old hotel. Lift is tiny..Neigbourhood is still unpleasant and leaves a lot to be desired..the staff however were welcoming. I consider the hotel good value as long as you are not seeking upmarket.

Parking is tight! Wish I would have put my SUV on the street. Rooms were clean and the wifi worked. Just what we needed for a couple of nights. We were here to visit Gibraltar and so much easier/cheaper to stay in Spain.

Once again, I booked this venue because hotels.com said there was a pool. It was closed. Furthermore, my 84 year old father was stuck in the lift for 15 minutes!

Fantastic place ! We had a balcony and view of the water and the rock of Gibralter. We didn’t have breakfast there but it was offered for a few. there is a small fridge and coffee maker in the room and a small elevator perfect for luggage. About 20-25 minute walk to the border or 5-10 by car. super comfy bed and clean w. c.

This is an economical Marriott, very good deal. Breakfast was great. Complementary items are a very nice touch. Found it annoying though that the room temp can’t exceed 21.5oC, other than that was perfect. It’s misleading to say it has a pool, pool is closed.

This hotel is a bit tired and the location is in a run down neighborhood. Our room faced the main roadway to Gibraltar so there was traffic noise all the time. The walk to the border crossing into Gibraltar is about 30 minutes along the waterfront. There are a few restaurants along the waterfront but some were closed and it would be better to eat in Gibraltar vs trying to find anything near the hotel. The pool was closed (off season), the breakfast buffet was overpriced for the quality of food,

Not that great - 0 flexibility when I tried to cancel the booking within a few hours of making it, despite it being the norm of allowing cancellations within the first 24 hours. I later needed to change my reservation to be only one of the two days I booked, and they made me go through the travel agent that I booked (Expedia) instead of just doing this themselves. The room itself is fine but has little soundproofing, with doors slamming waking you up through the night. The room wasn’t well cleaned (I had hairs on the bath tub) and the shower gel dispenser was empty. The corridor of my room also had a strong smell of cigarette smoke when I arrived. Breakfast is acceptable for the €14 fee. The hotel is also quite a long walk from the gib border, you basically need a €6 taxi to get there. Not sure I’d rush back.

A part le personnel qui fait son travail avec les moyens qu'on leur donne, l'hotel est sale ( moquette elimee dans les couloirs, parquets disjoints et uses dans notre chambre, cheveux dans la douche mais pas les notres, etc...) et vieillissant avec une negligence evidente de l'entretien. Ne merite pas ses etoiles

We were here to visit Gibraltar and with the high cost of hotels across the boarder opted to stay in LaLinea. This hotel was selected for their affiliation with Marriot, and after staying with them I am very surprised that they are able to maintain the affiliation. The rooms were very basic, walls were dirty, trim was damaged, dust bunnies in the corners, and the highly fragrant cleaning solutions made our eyes water they were so strong. We had to open the window for several hours to air out the room, which resulted in mosquitoes in our room since there are no screens. The bedding and towels at least seemed to be clean. However I suspect that it used to be a smoking room because once the strong cleaner smell was gone there was a whiff of tobacco present - particularly in the dingy curtains. Parking was not included with our room, and was a high daily fee. We needed up street parking in an area that does not seem to be all that nice. Would not come back here and plan to let my friend that works at Marriot corporate know about our poor experience. Pay the extra to stay in Gibraltar proper, you won’t regret it.

I do not understand how this hotel is a Marriott. Room is small and basic, even AFTER paying to upgrade. I'd hate to see the previous queen room. Fridge didn’t work and was moldy inside. Wasted over an hour checking in and waiting for a different fridge. Staff member told my husband we were booked in a single room, and only after i pulled out the printed booking did he change to, oh its a basic queen and we should upgrade for more space. I'm guessing the basic is like a broom closet. Parking is, good luck, on the street somewhere. Not even close to the expectations i have of the Marriott line of hotels! Location is decent at least to go into Gibraltar for the day. My husband tried to find out about food options at the restaurant, and was greeted with attitude and unhelpful. (We're guessing the end of his shift) Over all disappointed and would NOT recommend this hotel.

The staff I came across were all lovely and friendly, they even checked me in early and found me a charger as I forogt my adaptor. The rating is more for the room and condition of the hotel. Bathroom tiles were cracked and metal bits were hanging off the wall,flooring was really old and faded. I stayed here 10years ago and it looked better then. It was so noisy I could hear my neighbours talking and every morning at 6am the people above me were dragging furniture around. When someone showered or went to the toilet in the next door room you could hear that, but I have to say the room was clean.

Bonjour, Le problème principal est que l'hôtel est seulement raccordé en ADSL et non pas en fibre générant un débit WIFI très faible et avec de trop nombreuses coupures. Le reste était très bien.

Very nice hotel, rooms very modern, spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to Rock of Gibraltar by foot and several restaurants on the water. Breakfast was very good compared to other hotels we stayed in our travel this time.

Kind and helpful staff. Is close to Gibraltar border and bus stop. Only sad thing was the AC in our room didn’t work and we went in July.. they did nothing to help us with that, such as provide a fan, check on it, etc.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, however the Aircon leaked and there was a drip throughout the entire night. Luckily, I'm a heavy sleeper and didn't ask to switch rooms because I got in so late and just wanted to shower and sleep. However, the floor was wet where it leaked right in front of the bathroom door, and I had to throw 2 towels down to absorb the water.

Provided no coffee at 10:30 am. Front desk woman sent me on a wild goose chase through sketchy area. Why no coffee available? Every hotel in the world serves coffee except Marriott.

Really disappointed to have booked a hotel with a pool and the pool not be available. Even though it was advertised as being available 'June - September' and we were there in mid September, sunny and 25+ degrees every day. When I sent a message I was met with an incredibly unprofessional 8-word response, and when I followed up they ignored me. Without this, the experience was only ok. The breakfast seemed ridiculously over-priced so we didn't use that. I'd strongly recommend choosing a different hotel as they over-charge for what your getting versus other hotels in the area.

An average class Marriot Hotel, not like typical 5 star expensive and huge Marriot Hotels but excellently priced given the location near to Gibraltar. Room was very clean, staff were excellent and I would highly recommend it.

The Staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful--especially Sandra!. The lavender sachet give aways were a lovely touch and it was excellent to be able to use the coffee and tea machine in the breakfast room all day.

Kind and helpful staff. Is close to Gibraltar border and bus stop. Only sad thing was the AC in our room didn’t work and we went in July.. they did nothing to help us with that, such as provide a fan, check on it, etc.

Actually, it was Expedia, not the AC La Linea that led us astray - the Expedia listing indicated free parking, but did not elaborate that the free parking was on the street, where ever you could find a spot, and that the secure parking offered in the add was an additional 11Euro per day. This is where the staff offered excellent service, allowing us (a senior citizen couple at the end of a long travel day, nearing midnight) to park in the check in area until a nearby spot was available in the early morning. The staff were very nice, efficient and accommodating, and the hotel had a lovely view, and was likely stunning when the last renovation was new.

I do not understand how this hotel is a Marriott. Room is small and basic, even AFTER paying to upgrade. I'd hate to see the previous queen room. Fridge didn’t work and was moldy inside. Wasted over an hour checking in and waiting for a different fridge. Staff member told my husband we were booked in a single room, and only after i pulled out the printed booking did he change to, oh its a basic queen and we should upgrade for more space. I'm guessing the basic is like a broom closet. Parking is, good luck, on the street somewhere. Not even close to the expectations i have of the Marriott line of hotels! Location is decent at least to go into Gibraltar for the day. My husband tried to find out about food options at the restaurant, and was greeted with attitude and unhelpful. (We're guessing the end of his shift) Over all disappointed and would NOT recommend this hotel.

Yes, the room was clean, condition ok, but it is an old hotel. Lift is tiny..Neigbourhood is still unpleasant and leaves a lot to be desired..the staff however were welcoming. I consider the hotel good value as long as you are not seeking upmarket.

Fantastic place ! We had a balcony and view of the water and the rock of Gibralter. We didn’t have breakfast there but it was offered for a few. there is a small fridge and coffee maker in the room and a small elevator perfect for luggage. About 20-25 minute walk to the border or 5-10 by car. super comfy bed and clean w. c.

This hotel is a bit tired and the location is in a run down neighborhood. Our room faced the main roadway to Gibraltar so there was traffic noise all the time. The walk to the border crossing into Gibraltar is about 30 minutes along the waterfront. Genial! Un hotel muy bonito, muy cómido, ubicado a 15 minutos caminando de la entrada a Gibraltar, la caminata es muy agradable a la orilla del mar. Ofrecen parking interno por un precio adicional, a un precio adecuado, muy seguro. El desayuno fue muy bueno y ofrecía opciones variadas. Really friendly and helpful staff The hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the border with Gibraltar so very handy. The breakfast was enormous and kept me going. The room was spotless and had a beautiful view over the rock. Pool was still cloed as it wasn't quite yet in season so can't comment on that. Overall i'd definitely recommend.

El trato muy cordial, pero las dependencias muy antiguas y poco seguras. Cómo ejemplo, La puerta sin pestillo/cierre adicional. Tuve que cenar en el restaurant del hotel y me fui sin apenas probar la ensalada César que pedí. Algunas lechugas pasadas, el pollo recién sacado de la nevera, salsa en exceso.
