Has a very big parking has a laundry washer has a coffee machine and also has a microwave it is free to use by anyone even if it does not have a full bathroom in the rooms it has a sink which is perfect for drinking water washing hands washing in the morning brushing your teeth if you bring the ear plugs with you because the old building and the soundproofing is not so great you stick like a baby and also it's a historical building it's an interesting place

Checkin was easy and room is as expected for price - only negative is there are no working lights in the parking lots and the “back” lot is especially dark.

An easy-to-access location with ample parking. Clean sheets. The spaces are generally well-maintained. Despite the fact that the building is currently undergoing renovations, In general, the establishment has a 1980s decor, but it's functional

The price was fantastic. However, you give up a lot for the price. I feel sorry for the students who have to live there during the school year. We had a queen room with an attached bathroom and it was very small. Don’t mistake the family rooms shown on the website for the queen rooms. They are NOT the same. They left the curtains open and the room was sweltering when we arrived. Thinking it would be okay and cool down overnight was my first mistake. We had to buy an extra fan, which only helped minimally. There were other negatives… the min fridge broke and we lost the things we had in there, the pool was closed for all but 2 hours per week, and the shower was grotty. They tried putting double sheets on a queen bed, which barely covered the mattress. Thankfully, we brought our own pillows. If you are a tall or larger person, you’ll have to go down the hall to the communal showers. I’m petit and could barely turn around in the shower. If you are looking for a cheep place to crash for a single night, this works fine, but if you are staying multiple nights, this isn’t a great choice. On a positive note, the staff were kind and tried to be helpful.

The room and shared restroom are reasonable clean. I stayed for 7 nights and there is no room service in between. You can request if needed. Parking is easy. There was only one elevator operating, and the wait time could be a bit long. The trail around the lake is nice. The price is good. It is a decent budget stay.

No fridge to store basic essentials. Some vending machines with real food would be nice. (Froken foods, sandwiches, etc.) ----- Private room is very good for the price.

It was a great stay, but no any option for coffee in the morning.

2 seniors staying here 3 nights. We had a 2 bed / bathroom . It had a refridgerator and table, no tv.. Wi fi was excellent for streaming tv. It had a room a/c when it got warm. It was quiet, we felt safe and the beds were comfortable. Close to grocery stores and great restaurants. Ice machine and microwave on 1st floor. Its a dorm room. The plumbing could be loud when using and the shower was quite small. The bldg could use some sprucing up but overall, The price is very inexpensive. I would stay here again.

No sound proofing whatsoever. Most grungy bathrooms and showers I've seen. Mould on the walls and shower curtains, bedsheets dirty and tattered. Everything desperately needs an update. Wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Cheap though.

Seul avantage = le prix. Du bruit dans les couloirs en pleine nuit, des mouches mortes dans la chambre en arrivant, sol peu propre.

J'ai bien aimer séjourner. Le seul point negatif a été pour moi la propreté des services sanitaires. Une odeur désagréable d urine vieillit. Presence d urine sur les banc de toilettes ainsi que sur le plancher. Pour le reste J'ai bien apprécié. Merci

Très sale! Des insectes dans la chambre! Je n’ai pas dormi là, je préférais dormir dans ma voiture! Je me suis fait remboursé.

I'm a budget traveler and normally not very picky but multiple hairs of different colors and lengths on the sheets is usually a pretty good indication the sheets were not change and the bed only remade after the last guests...and I would say most likely more then one time. Additionally, the air is so dry, my skin was cracking, my mouth was so dry. There are no restaurants or markets easy access, the directions to get to which building on the location need to be more explicite, or the maps tag updated to show the resident building not the main campus one.

For the price it was great. In summer, bring a fan. So hot!!! No AC.

Room was very congested and noisy. Specially room window was very old and noisy. They kept banging against each other. We woke up multiple time overnight thinking somebody was loudly banging the door or the wall. Also, bathroom exhaust was not working.

It’s a very run down building not clean outside. Bed and pillows are horrible but if you’re staying one night it’s ok. Wouldn’t recommend for any more then one night.

Pour le prix, c’est très bien. La chambre est propre, et le lit est correct. Par contre on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le corridor et les chambres voisines, et lorsque l’on a des voisins peu soucieux de déranger les autres jusque minuit passé, c’est quand même un irritant important.

It takes 1 hour to get to Old Quebec if you takes bus 92 or 94 on schedule (after 8:00 AM is every hour) to Sainte Foy and connect with bus 800 or 801. To return home at night, the bus 92 or 94 is every hour from Sainte Foy. There are not grocery store near by. For $40.00 CAD the night it is not bad. Be aware that there are new immigrants leaving in the residence due to lack of housing, no issues with them. The surrounding of the building is a forest and St Lawrence River.

Clean room; paper thin walls, no a/c in dead-heat, bathrooms were clean but, definitely large dorm style mixed gender. No water bottle in room as advertised and no wifi (wasn’t working apparently according to reception). Spider on wall, several little gnats flying around. Should have slept in my car…

Nice clean and comfortable room. Just a heads up though, there’s no air conditioning but you can open up the window for a little breeze.

We stayed for one night in a room with a queen bed and a private bathroom. The room wasn't huge but big enough for what we needed. The staff was friendly and very willing to speak English with those who didn't speak French. There were places to eat nearby and things were easy to find in the building. All in all, our experience was amazing and we would highly recomend this hotel for anyone looking for a small, quiet place to stay!

Unassuming place but makes for a wonderful experience without burning a hole in your pocket. I especially loved all the space, the tranquility, and the haunted hostel feel - I felt like I was in a movie. The staff was courteous, and the linen clean. I would love to return someday.

The price was right. The building was secure. The room was just what we needed for the price. Not enough towels, no hand towel. Directions on which building to go to and which entrance to use would be helpful. When phoning the front desk I was told to go to the next building when in fact I had been at the right building. Because it is a residence at the college there are multiple buildings and it is confusing, even for staff apparently.

I have been a hyper respectful regular customer at this establishment for years but the management mentality by the authorities responsible for this establishment leaves something to be desired and sadly and unacceptably leaves a bitter taste for the customers who nevertheless pay to be RESPECTED. I complained that 3 times in a few weeks, people from the establishment's staff wanted to open my room door WITHOUT EVEN FIRST knocking to find out if anyone was in the room!! Terrible but true. And other customers have had and are still having the same horrible similar experience and management normalizes this as something to accept !!! Amazing ! As a response and apology following our complaints, the management of this establishment invites us to stay elsewhere!! Incredibly astounding and DISSOLVING as a CUSTOMER SERVICE management mentality !

J'ai été un client régulier hyper respectueux à cet établissement pendant des années mais la mentalité de gestion par les autorités responsables de cet établissement laisse à désirer et laisse tristement et innaceptablement un goût amer pour les clients qui payent pourtant pour être RESPECTÉS. J'ai porté plainte sur le fait que 3 fois en quelques semaines, des personnes du personnel de l'établissement ont voulu ouvrir ma porte de chambre SANS MÊME D'ABORD cogner pour savoir si quelqu'un était alors dans la chambre !! Épouvantable mais vrai. Et d'autres clients ont vécu et vivent encore la même horrible expérience similaire et la direction nornalise cela comme étant des choses à accepter !!! Incroyable ! En guise de réponse et d'excuses suite à nos plaintes, la direction de cet établissement nous invite à aller séjourner ailleurs !! Incroyablement sidérant et DÉSOLANT comme mentalité de gestion de SERVICE À LA CLIENTÈLE !

C’est un hébergement à prix modique dans la région de Québec. Un peu éloigné de la ville mais le prix est très abordable.

I stayed 3 nights. The property had plenty of free parking and it was easy to get into the city on the 92 and 94 bus routes. There was some hall noise now and then from people talking, but it wasn't too bad. The twin room is tiny, so if I come back, I'll get one of the larger room. Overall, a great value.

Excellent budget accommodation in a convenient location not far from the freeway. Particularly if the quotes remain competitive, I will likely book again.

This is a very adequate facility at which I have repeatedly stayed; it's strengths are: "location, location, location" and - so to speak - "competitive pricing, competitive pricing, competitive pricing". These are the brutal realities around which my bookings revolve and this facility indeed scores very well on these accounts.

Good distance from the city to decompress

Très bien pour les commodités de base. Besoin d’une voiture pour accéder au campus. Loin des attractions touristiques mais accès facile par les autoroutes.

Desolé, Pas de restaurant et supermarché autour et pas de cuisine dans la résidence pour préparer nos repas!!! Celui qui veut séjourner dans cette résidence se retrouve au milieu d'un désert de neige!! A revoir les notions de l'accueil!! Zone peu fréquenté par les transports en commun.

Clean, basic property. Great place to stay for the amount paid. Staff are friendly and rooms are basic but clean. Only downside is the lack of dining options due to location.

Pas cher, bien positionné. Une belle alternative aux hôtels luxueux. Manque une cuisine collective sur l’étage pour se faire un café

Great value for money. This was built as a student dorm 1965, so the rooms and ensuit bath was small. It worked perfectly for our visit to Québec City as we have a car. It is clean and secure, the reception staff very pleasant and help

Easily found the place at the bus stop. Room was neat and cosy. Old style. Staff were helpful to finding other places nearby and washing powder. Good value for money. Suggest more facilities as kitchen though we managed with the table and microwave of the foyer.
