Landsborough Holiday Park

We were on a family holiday visiting Australia Zoo. Upon arrival the reception staff were more than helpful with providing local knowledge, maps, fish and chip recommendations and offering a discount for the zoo. The cabin was clean and welcoming - the air con was even left on for us to be nice and cool. We ran into a few permanent residence and they were all cheerful and friendly. We didn't use facilities (were too busy exploring the incredible local area) so unable to comment on that. There is wildlife here (water dragons family came up for breakfast and sunbaking each morning). Overall, a lovely place for a convenient stop over close to the zoo.

POSITIVE : This property was in a great location, few minutes drive for the zoo which was perfect! Easy to find, friendly staff very accommodating. We stayed in a cabin type accommodation, had everything we needed & more, big double bed, bunk beds, ensuite, fridge, microwave and cook top. The TV on the wall was a bonus too (able to pivot) to watch in bed, table or bunks etc. Aircon worked perfectly, sufficient storage and amenities were great, lastly - one massive single vehicle park at rear of accommodation too, I have a small car but when we return with 4x4 it’ll be perfectly parked out of the way. NEGATIVE: only one door in and out of accommodation. Neighbours are quite close to you as well (permanent tenants reside here too) be mindful. Shower pressure could be better, however sufficient. NEIGHBOUR (male and female approx. in there 40s were up drinking alcohol and speaking loudly with each other while playing with the dog until 1030-11pm, directly opposite the entrance of accomodation - I literally opened the curtains multiple times (as a - hello we are trying to sleep) gesture without causing any problems. I switched off the outside light. Finally at around 11pm, they were quiet - by this stage I was already feeling tired and annoyed, but slept until 630am. All in all, great location, and value for money too. Will definitely be back - maybe I’ll sit outside and drink alcohol, talk loudly and see what happens…. Beautiful place, villa in great condition. Good amenities. Disappointed that I went to reception to change money for the laundry but it was shut 30 minutes earlier than signed. Would stay there again though and have recommended to friends

The staff was amazing The area and facility was nice and clean Love the fact that it had a kitchen Reasonably price Would stay here again the next time I am up thank you

Clean comfortable accommodation and friendly helpful staff

We had stayed in the cabins 3 different times . The cabins definitely need up grade the bathroom was terrible they must of taken down towel rack and looks like hair dryer or hand towel rack and not even painted the whole inside needs painting . Lounge not comfortable at all . Will not be staying there again great spot but don’t feel comfortable.

Amazingly quiet Caravan Park. We had a modern cabin with 2 bedrooms, comfortable kitchen, dining & living room combo, nice bathroom adequate size. It was clean and modern.

This was a great location for our short stay. We came to visit the Australia Zoo and it was only 5 minutes away. The place was clean and close to a grocery store. Overall our stay was very nice.

We really enjoyed the position and convenience of this cabin, staff were super friendly and helpful however I don’t believe our cabin was swept/ vacuumed before our arrival my only other complaint was the shower temperature was impossible to get at a standard temp it was either freezing or boiling and switched mid use…overall we enjoyed our stay 😊

Great location to Australian Zoo, only a couple of kms drive. Our 2 bedroom cabin was spacious and the bed was comfortable and sheets lovely and clean. Cute outlook over a duck pond and amazing bird chorus both evening and morning. A short drive to Landsborough which had a great supermarket, and a fabulous bakery. Our only gripe was lack of wifi. We did arrive after hours and getting the key was straight forward and great communication, however no mention of wifi which was disappointing

The single bed was tiny!!!! Not suitable for an adult which made the stay not pleasant at all. My friend and I travel together and as 2 grown women we need a bed each…. Dissapointing. Otherwise everything was good

I stayed in the Possum cabin. I loved this cabin. It was quiet and located near the edge of the property where I could hear the birds singing in the morning. It was small, but I didn’t need much room. I loved the plants and trees that surrounded the cabin, it felt like I was in a treehouse.

While the cabins are difficult to find (I did show up after dark), the seclusion of them are very nice. Sure, you are in between a camp site and around other trailers. But I didn’t experience any issues with the people around. Note that some of them have $100k+ vehicles, so I doubt they’d be interested in whatever is in the rental car/cabin (I left my car unlocked due to some key issues). Only thing that took some stars off was the bed. It was good for a cabin, but I’d be pretty bummed if I compared it to other hotels. Bring right next to the zoo, I didn’t mind the trade off.

While the cabins are difficult to find (I did show up after dark), the seclusion of them are very nice. Sure, you are in between a camp site and around other trailers. But I didn’t experience any issues with the people around.
