This property is currently undergoing renovations. The room we stayed in was great, and no significant issues, other than a smoke detector hanging off the ceiling and no thermostat for the HVAC unit. The exterior of the property is still under renovation. The front desk person was terrific! Sandra was so pleasant to meet and helped us with the coffee station.

Quick and easy off the 400, just on the edge of town but with ready walking distance access to nearby dining. Parking lot's a little odd with how it splits from the main lot, and could use some signage for clarity, but that's trivial for an otherwise excellent experience.

Breakfast area was really small. 6-7 chairs. Literally had to wait to eat. We booked 3 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room…we got 3 rooms with 2 double/full (definitely not queen) beds in each. There was no elevator in the hotel so keep the luggage light as you need to carry it via stairs.

The people were so kind and friendly. The building was under some serious Reno’s which meant the elevator was not working. We were on the second floor and I had to carry my baby and stroller up and down a flight of stairs because of the inoperable elevator. We had booked a queen bed and instead got a room with two double beds which was cheaper than what we had paid for. The staff were super kind but told us since they were doing renos that was all that was available and they apologized. Staying here for one night cost us $189 for what was supposed to be a room with a queen bed and instead got a room with two double beds, no working elevator, ongoing construction and hazards in the hallways. We did however get free wifi, parking and breakfast from 6-9am.

The staff was wonderful, doing their best with a bad situation. The place is under construction, only accessible from back entrances some distance from parking. My room's heat didn't work, so I was provided with a portable heater. The "breakfast" was provided in a paper bag. The TV had no signal. I was given a significant discount, so don't expect compensation, but overall it was not a good experience.

My stay was just one night. Only thing is paving area needs to be redone. Pebbles and cracked pavement were a little bit of a nuisance when walking and trying to not trip. Other than that everything was satisfactory.

adjoining room door paper thin. Women staying in room next door were so loud Monday morning at 6am that our dog thought they were in our room. He barked, and then we attempted to go back to bed but those women just kept getting louder. No respect for anyone but themselves! They must of thought everyone should be up. Cars parked outside some of them were parked in areas not marked for parking.

Have stayed here in prior years. Property was undergoing renovation during this year's stay. Bathroom cleanliness was an issue. Toilet had been used and was not flushed when I got into my room. Tub filled with water while I showered, and was still full when I got up the next morning.

Room was not very clean, bedsheets not changed, hair and some bugs crawling on beds, had to ask for the room to be cleaned again and all bedsheets to be replaced. Was done and did not see any bugs after. Very unfriendly breakfast room staff. On the positive side front desk was very helpful, location is amazing, walkout to forested area from room on the first floor, access to free coffee machine with iced coffee dispenser, waffle machine for breakfast. Too bad there is no view of the pond right behind the hotel, all covered with trees, viewing deck with some picnic tables would make it spectacular.

Room was very musty and carpet felt sticky. Bathroom was foul smelling. Bathroom sink did not drain. Air conditioning unit did not work. For the price we paid ($285 Cdn), this was an absolute disappointing experience and not aligned with the Choice Hotel vision of providing "high quality" to its customers.

The hotel is good, service is good, but they had no internet for three days and they gave us lame excuses and lies saying that the whole town did not have internet etc., then it was re-programming, then needed some equipment ... always changing the story.

My only concern with the room was the fact that there is only one night table - both of us wear glasses - I had to set mine on the floor when I went to bed - and I couldn't plug in my phone near my bed, which is a preference - or have a glass of water bedside - had to put a cup on the floor.

Room 126 desperately needs a new mattress! There is a big sagging dip on the right hand side that makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on, especially if you are a couple. For $200 a night I would expect a flat level supportive bed. After all, this is a hotel room and people come here to sleep!!! Replace your mattresses at least every 10 years for god sake!!! Overall, the room was decent size and relatively clean with good water pressure in the shower. Staff was friendly as well. A few restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance.

Travelled with small children and a crawling infant. Originally booked a ground floor but was given 2nd floor which we had to climb upstairs with 2 small children and an infant. Room was dirty. Toilet was stained and found a pubic hair on the toilet seat. Washroom smelled like dirty rags. My infant was crawling and put a gummy she found In her mouth. We did not bring any gummies into the room. Hair shampoo and conditioner dispenser is attached to wall and conditioner was empty. Breakfast was okay, decent options of cooked eggs and waffle maker. Issue is breakfast is until 9am. Another patron asked for eggs at 8:40 and the employee name Perry was quite rude saying it was too late to turn on the grill. The gentleman said he was gluten free and was hoping to have eggs. The staff member was very rude to the other patron when he asked the staff’s name. Will not return and prefer the other inn across the street.

We stayed for one night at the Comfort Inn. We were attending a wedding at a lake house close by. It is a great option. Very conveniently located off the highway, close to shopping and restaurants. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff are courteous and friendly. The breakfast served the next day was delicious and got us on our way. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were basically in and out but we felt safe, lots of parking and perfect for our overnight stay in Parry Sound. We would highly recommend.

The location is awful. Surrounded by storage bins. Not a place I felt comfortable in at all. It could use even a simple reno and it would make a big difference. Staff were excellent!

I booked for two nights and expecting room clean on second day and not aware about special requests for cleaning. If I stay only one night, they clean second day but I booked for two days, they didn't clean and not provided second set of towels even. It's not cost savings strategy. Breakfast is pathetic and very small room and at least 30 to 40 people in the queue like beggars standing for food. Overall, I have not good experience and I never book in Comfort Inn

Warning to families do not go here! It’s full of Hydro crews and other workmen. Normally that’s fine but the whole place smells like a bad locker room and mouldy socks. I was travelling with my 19 year old daughter and these perverts were propositioning her at every turn while drinking and getting high just outside the entrance. It’s filthy in every respect. Run down and every room is full so they will charge you an arm and a leg. Breakfast runs out by 730 am. The guys take everything and management frankly don’t care to replenish because they have a full house. I will never return
