This is an older but very servicable motel on the road up to the Hot Pools. We had a kitchenette room which included a double hot plate as a cooking device. This worked but was very slow expecially for frying meats. If you were patient, it did eventually do the job. We had two pets with us and they were welcomed here and we had a good park area for them to run in for thier private needs. With Hwy 1 closed at nights, the truck traffic through Radium is crazy but the noise levels were quite acceptable inside the room. For a good economic stay especially with furry friends, this motel will fit your bill.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet. It had everything I could need for a night stay. The parking was great and there was lots of parking. The view was nice. There were areas outside my room to sit outside. I would stay here again.

Our room was down some stairs that were loose and dangerous. The bed was horrible. Not comfortable at all. Windows were broken. The a/c barely worked. The bathroom door stuck and was hard to open.The lock was on the wrong side of the door to the washroom. All in all it is in rough shape. The up side was it was very clean. Coffee pot and fridge and microwave in the kitchenette room. ( no cooktop). Screamers cafe is where you go for the included breakfast. Food is very good.

It has the basics, be aware there is no hair dryer. There were only 2 pillows in the room but we did get more from the office. Bed was ok. Room 2B was quite dark (I forgot to tell owner that the wall light was not reliable - needs a new bulb I think). Remember to ask for breakfast vouchers. We weren't offered them when we checked in - fortunately someone was in the office in the morning. It is old and dated, lots of repairs to balconies to reinforce, lots of garbage around - sadly people throw over the balconies. The breakfast place was good, a few blocks down the road with only 3 options but we enjoyed them. There is a portable air conditioner which was needed, small fridge and microwave. I would not recommend staying if you can afford something else. I felt it was overpriced for the condition of the building. Fortunately the weather was beautiful and we didn't have to spend much time in the room.

Five minute drive from the hot springs. Parking is right in front of your door. Tiny balcony over looks forest, so no view, but I guess it would be good for smokers. Someone had stolen the TV remote so the front desk person came right away with a new one. Our bed frame was coming apart, so they got their handyman on it right away. Overall excellent value for the money.

It looks clean when you walk in but as soon as you look closer it was full of spiders, ants, and other bugs. We were to stay three nights but lasted one night. They were very good about giving our money back.

Old building and rooms are not clean, showers also not clean. This place REALLY NEED a renovation and GOOD CLEAN. The only thing is good - Bedding are clean, Thank you for this. Unfortunately I will not recommend and will never stay there again.

The room was small, but very clean. The bathroom did not have a tub, but did have a shower, though it was very small. I found the bed uncomfortable, but my husband felt it was good. Every room seems to have its own sitting area and balcony. that over looked the wooded area. We had a small family of deer and a lot of birds visit us. We were able to walk to downtown Radium and sightseeing was a short drive away. Breakfast was supplied by Screamers Ice Cream Shop and it was satisfying. Overall, the stay was great, a few things that made me give 4 out of 5. But we would definitely stay again.

Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked but downsides were windows facing highway had to be kept closed and covered due to noise and privacy. Room was clean, bed comfy, but being so close to road...first night had snow plows up down road very loud. I was on bottom floor with hostel on top so had foot steps walking above me seemed loud to me hear voices mumble older building could probably use some sound proof insulation upgrades. But clean, bed was nice used ear plugs second night slept well. No hair dryer in room so that suprised me as i did not pack as any hotel/motel ive stayed in before always had a hair dryer. Price was right

This is an older, basic and economical motel. The king bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The unit was equipped with a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The A/C unit was undersized, noisy and did not cool the room in 26 C weather. It's an ineffective design with a vent to the outside and should be replaced with a window A/C unit. The motel is not soundproof and the semi-trucks climbing or descending down the hightway felt close at hand.

This was a great place for a quick overnight stop. Staff was super friendly and it’s a clean cute little motel and the Price is right. You’ll read reviews about it being noisy because it’s so close to the highway, those people are light sleepers and need ear plugs. It’s honestly not that bad. Would stay here again!!

They claim to have an attendant at all times which is not correct. They keep changing the signs on the door. We wanted to check in a bit earlier as it was very cold outside and it was raining. There was no one to attend us. The rooms were ready, as we could see people cleaning, locking and going away. There was no one at the reception to attend us. There was number to call if you need anything. So we called, thinking that they will be able to allow us checking in a little earlier. But the man on the phone refused. He said check in begins at 4 only. This was unusual. I travel a lot and this has happened for the first time with us. Ultimately we had to sit in my car for 2.5 hrs and then got a room. The 'breakfast included' as they claim has no variety and you need to walk a mile for that.

The room was small, but very clean. The bathroom did not have a tub, but did have a shower, though it was very small. I found the bed uncomfortable, but my husband felt it was good. Every room seems to have its own sitting area and balcony. that over looked the wooded area. We had a small family of deer and a lot of birds visit us. We were able to walk to downtown Radium and sightseeing was a short drive away. Breakfast was supplied by Screamers Ice Cream Shop and it was satisfying. Overall, the stay was great, a few things that made me give 4 out of 5. But we would definitely stay again.

Amazing breakfast. Three choices to choose from, made to order, all high quality. Breakfast staff very friendly. Portion size too small. Hotel room comfortable, warm, and clean. Would recommend more hooks to hang coats and towels. Very happy that my room was pet friendly so that I could bring my dog with me and not have to worry about leaving him behind.

This was a great place to stay in Radium Hot Springs. The room was very clean and spacious. We love the breakfast that is included at a local cafe, Screamers. I will visit again!

Great for a night or two, affordable and relatively clean for an old motel. Lighting for balcony rooms is non-existent, I had to use a flashlight after returning from the hot springs and again in the morning while taking my belongings back to the car in the morning. There was no breakfast provided, I assume because the office was closed until 10am.

It has the basics, be aware there is no hair dryer. There were only 2 pillows in the room but we did get more from the office. Bed was ok. Room 2B was quite dark (I forgot to tell owner that the wall light was not reliable - needs a new bulb I think). Remember to ask for breakfast vouchers. We weren't offered them when we checked in - fortunately someone was in the office in the morning. It is old and dated, lots of repairs to balconies to reinforce, lots of garbage around - sadly people throw over the balconies. The breakfast place was good, a few blocks down the road with only 3 options but we enjoyed them. There is a portable air conditioner which was needed, small fridge and microwave. I would not recommend staying if you can afford something else. I felt it was overpriced for the condition of the building. Fortunately the weather was beautiful and we didn't have to spend much time in the room.

Very old school motel Clean but obviously dated and very basic That said it was an awesome stay for our radium getaway with our teen son 2 bedrooms and kitchenette were perfect for us Added bonus breakfast vouchers for a nearby restaurant 3 basic breakfast choices all excellent and the restaurant is a retro cafe style, very cool I would stay again for the price and the location Not fancy but no complaints

I wanted to like my stay as the Apple Tree Inn from memories of years past. Unfortunately, the Inn could use a much needed facelift. The bed/mattress in the suite was well worn and uncomfortable. The kitchenette was not useable with minimal utensils which is unreasonable when this is what we needed and paid extra for. There was leftover coffee in the coffee maker. Sadly, I would not stay again.

The hotel is old, they have attempted to update the property but there is only so much you can do to an old building. Bed was comfortable, hotel is close to road so there is a lot of traffic noise. Definitely overpriced for what we got, but that is what you get in a resort town. We won't stay there again.
