Great option close to the airport. Staff is super friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. This hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, full of character, something different than big-chain hotels close to the airport like Hilton. They have a restaurant serving tasty local food. We used their shuttle service to/from airport which costs $20 euro for two person each way.

I am so happy we found this gem! Very convenient to the airport A few steps to the beach, incredible rooftop lounging areas, charming & comfy rooms and courtyard, and very attentive and kind hosts. Nice market down the street, too, so we enjoyed a little picnic dinner watching the sunset over the sea. It was perfect!

Stefano picked me up from the airport and was very hospitable. Showing me to my room and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. I enjoyed the rooftop views of the Sea and watched the sun set. There is an amazing restaurant within walking distance called Tre Nodi the food and service impeccable! A short walk to the beach as well it made for a perfect final night close to the airport before heading home to the states. The room was clean, simplistic but with all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot!

Very close to beach. We walked in evening. Very safe. The restaurant on premise was fabulous. Amazing hospitality when our train broke down on way there. Host went out of his way to pick us up. He was so kind and helpful. Great communication. Will definitely stay here next year when we come. Try their restaurant. Food was homemade and so good. Room very clean. Such a wonderful hidden gem.

Convenient location with comfortable bed. With only limited number of rooms it allows you to connect with other guests. Only a 20 euro taxi and 10 minutes from the airport. Simple but convenient restaurant on site open mornings from 7-9am and evenings 5-7pm.

One block from the beach, we spent our last day in Italy at the beach on lounges under an umbrella for next to nothing -compared to U.S. prices. We ate a nice dinner at the hotel for very inexpensive. I would stay there again. They are a short drive from the airport which meant we were able to get a little more sleep before a 6:00 am flight.

Very convenient for a flight out of FCO. Great staff. The dinner at the on site restaurant was delicious. They picked us up at the airport and arranged an early shuttle pickup fr our flight home the next day and both were very reasonably priced.

Warm welcome by Stephano who explained everything clearly. Soon after check-in he prepared a very nice meal for us. The room was comfortable and very clean. Parking was easy, safe and free. The airport is a 10-minute drive, but I don’t recall hearing any planes overnight.

This hotel, has a nice location near the airport by the beach with lots of restaurant choices. The only problem was there was ants in the bathroom and all over the room.! The double doors were a very smart idea so the plane engine sound didn’t wreck our sleep and the service lady was excellent!

We enjoyed our stay here after flying into Rome. Very clean, walkable to grocery store, restaurants and beach and a nice breakfast included. Staff nice and helpful! We paid for transportation from the airport and back which was convenient.

Stefano was very helpful. Our room, Number 4 was disappointing. There was mold in the shower along the floor at the base of the wall. The light outside our room stayed on all night…we could not find a switch to turn it off. The internet service was okay in the lobby of the hotel, but non existent in our room, which was very disappointing as well. The amount we paid for the room was very overpriced for the quality. The proximity to the airport and Stefano’s transporting us to the airport was good.

This was a beautiful little hotel- the front desk made us feel very welcome and walked us through everything from how to work the door, to the lights, to how to get to the beach and many other things. There really isn’t anything negative to say- it was very clean even for our high standards, the bed was comfortable, and it’s really pretty overall too :) Would for sure stay here if we have a flight the next day. It’s a 9 min drive to the airport and not near anything else but this was perfect for what we needed.

We had a great 1 night stay at Intorno al Fico hotel in Fiumicino / Lazio. This was our last night for our Italy vacation, and we booked the hotel due to it's proximity to the FCO Airport. The hotel was very clean and is an easy 5 minute taxi / shuttle to the FCO Airport. The staff was great and super friendly. We had a 5 minute walk to the beach and ate at a very nice seafood restaurant on the beach, as recommended by the Hotel. Our breakfast the next morning was great and helped us start our final day in Italy! Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel manager was super nice, the property was well taken care of. Having said that though there was black mold in the shower; not surprising given the climate but need to figure out how to clean that.

The hotel is good location to FCO and the beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable, however there are no windows in the room and you have to close a metal type barn door in order to lock your door. I was very claustrophobic. The area near the hotel is very run down and not a good area if you plan to go out. However if you are just staying overnight before airport it works just fine.

Great little property the host owner was very nice gave us a full review of the property. Property is located just a few steps from the beach which is nice. Biggest compliment would be the noise of jets taking off. In the room that noise was greatly reduced. Our one night stay was alright.

Very nice place to stay rooms are not too big but have all you need and beaucause the hotel is not too big you can hear people talking outside it can be a little bit distirbing if you want to sleep late but overall it a nice placen and the beach is just in the back of the hotel so perfect for a walk and it’s near the airport

We book this hotel for an overnight stay when we had a late arrival at FCO airport. The hotel is very close the the airport and the own gave us very good instructions for the pick-up service and the self check-in after 20.00 pm. We had a nice stay with a good breakfast in the morning. An extra plus if you are a flight enthusiast, you will be able to watch the take-offs but the noise is not disturbing.

A very cute "boutique" style hotel near the sea in Fumicino. Staff were very kind and helpful. Our rooms were simple and comfortable, ideal for our last night before flying home. Very close to the sea, which was great as we took in a stunning sunset. Breakfast was provided and was nice. Beds and pillows were not the most comfortable (too soft for my liking) but again, for just one night, not an issue. The courtyard was nice to have a little dinner, enjoy a coffee and some conversation. Bathrooms are clean and have everything your need.

The best part about this hotel is it’s location. It’s 15 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. It cost us $40 Euros for a 15 minute taxis ride from the airport which was shocking. The hotel has a rate of $25 which is great. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best choice for you. Airplanes fly above the hotel nonstop. I wore earplugs and I could still hear the planes. The rooms were small but fine for a short stay. My only complaint was the air conditioning. The temperature would not go below a certain point and I found the room to be too warm for sleeping. I don’t know if there is a master temperature controlled by the hotel or if it wasn’t just working in our room.

This is a nice hotel, close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and informative. The host, helped us with our luggage and provided detailed information about how to drop off the rental car at the airport--which was needed because it's tricky! However, the air conditioning didn't work, and neither did the phone so we couldn't call down to resolve the issue. That didn't matter though because there was no one attending (apparently, the desk is closed in the early evening). Also, the internet signal was so poor that it was nearly non-functional. These issues were unfortunate because the staff was so excellent. It was actually perhaps the best reception I've ever received at a hotel.

I used the hotel as a one night layover in between flight, arriving late and leaving super early. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating making sure I have a friction free check in after hours, and seamless checkout (I just left the key in the room) early in the morning, plus they called a taxi for easy transfer. All of this was communicated and arranged in 3 WhatsApp messages. The place was perfectly charming, just as pictured. There is a beautiful fig tree in the middle of the courtyard with delicious fruit. The place is steps away from the beach.

We had a fabulous experience at Intorno al Fico. We actually stayed there twice in the same week (we left for a couple of days). We felt very cared for. The breakfast was good and the dinners were very tasty. The pick up and drop off at the airport/train station was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a daily walk to the beach and to the grocery store. We have been to Rome before so this was extremely relaxing. We would definitely return.

The breakfast was good and the dinners were very tasty. The pick up and drop off at the airport/train station was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a daily walk to the beach and to the grocery store. We have been to Rome before so this was extremely relaxing. We would definitely return.

The staff made our two individual short stays so comfortable after long flights. They helped get us to and from the airport, which is close by. They have a wonderful breakfast, and because we left so early the second visit; Priscilla, on the staff, made us a tray of goodies to eat before our 6:30 am pickup. She went out of her way, and we are grateful to her and all the staff from the prior visit.

Remarkable service, great location, quaint beautiful property which was close the airport. Priscilla arranged airport pickup. Stefano picked us up and brought to the property. Excellent service. Rooms are insulated extremely well as the traffic noise of the airport could not be heard. Would highly recommend this property which was located within a short walk of the beautiful beach

I needed a place to stay close to the airport as I had a 6:30 am flight. This location was very handy and with the taxi service that they offer it was convenient and easy. My room was clean and well appointed and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Stefano and staff were wonderfully accommodating — we stayed on 3 separate occasions during our Italy trip— between legs of our journey and they were most helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport, recommending local restaurants, and having our room ready and comfortable! Would definitely book again if we come back !

Very convenient for a flight out of FCO. Great staff. The dinner at the on site restaurant was delicious. They picked us up at the airport and arranged an early shuttle pickup fr our flight home the next day and both were very reasonably priced.

Great Hotel! Super convenient and close to the airport. Staff was great and helpful . Stefano helped with arranging airport pick up. I would certainly recommend Intorno al Fico hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome.

Perfect location for proximity to the airport and beach. We enjoyed a walk on the beach before our flight, it is steps from the apartment. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is good location to FCO and the beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable, however there are no windows in the room and you have to close a metal type barn door in order to lock your door. I was very claustrophobic. The area near the hotel is very run down and not a good area if you plan to go out. However if you are just staying overnight before airport it works just fine.

This hotel was amazing for our last night before flying home. They arranged a car service to pick us up and take us back to the Rome airport, it was super clean and had a very California cool vibe. I only give it four because the area around is a little rundown, but definitely safe and quiet and the hotel itself is great. They recommended a restaurant, not too many in the area. It was fantastic! In fact, it was one of our favourite dinners on our three week trip.

Great spot if you are catching a flight the next morning. Would not stay for long as the dining options are limited and area around is pretty rundown. The room was quiet, blocking out noise from airplanes overhead and staff was extremely helpful on transport to and from airport. Again, fantastic spot for a one night stay to catch a flight but not somewhere I’d spend a lot of time.

This was a surprising gem of a hotel right next to the beach. The area looks sketchy when driving in, but it was safe and we walked all over. The beach was beautiful. The breakfast was great. Staff went above and beyond.

This is a great hotel with a super sweet staff! You can walk straight to the beach and there’s cafes directly across the street. One of the few places you can get crispy bacon and eggs for breakfast. It’s a small boutique hotel with a big heart! Don’t miss the chef’s lasagna.

Mixed feelings. The management was very responsive and nice. However I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, had a shuttle (which I assumed was free) and provided breakfast. However we were told the shuttle wasn’t free (10 euros per person each way) and wasn’t even running. We had to wait about a hour for a different shuttle to take us to the hotel at a cost of 20 euros. The following morning, we waited 15 minutes outside the hotel for another shuttle to take us back to the airport (also 20 euros). Breakfast was just bad. Room was very small. We should have paid a little more and stayed at a nicer more convenient place.

We book this hotel for an overnight stay when we had a late arrival at FCO airport. The hotel is very close the the airport and the own gave us very good instructions for the pick-up service and the self check-in after 20.00 pm. We had a nice stay with a good breakfast in the morning. An extra plus if you are a flight enthusiast, you will be able to watch the take-offs but the noise is not disturbing.

Very cozy and unique hotel with beautiful beach and restaurants right next to it. Beach has great sand, which is not too common in Italy. Hotel staff is very nice. They have free breakfast.

This is a wonderful hotel right by the beach and 10 minutes from the Rome airport. The staff are so welcoming and the breakfast is delicious. We also had a very good dinner at the hotel. Would highly recommend!

What a wonderful surprise this place was. The staff was wonderful! We got here and we're able to walk down to the beach and relax for a while. Clean nice room, had dinner here it was so good and everything was homemade! Also had no issue with airport ride, we just told Stephan the day before and he said no problem . And half the price of the taxi we took to get here from the airport! Perfect place to chill and stay the night before your flight home!

Unfortunately we arrived after 8pm. We did get a glass of wine and enjoy a beautiful sunset. We had to be up early to head to the airport so we were not able to eat breakfast . I wish we could have stayed another day to enjoy the beach. If the opportunity arises in the future I would definitely stay here again. It is very convenient to get to the airport. They even arranged a taxi for us in the morning.

We had one night before our long haul flight home and wanted to stay near the airport, but not AT the airport...wanted to make our Italian vacation last as long as we could. The staff was very helpful, they were able to arrange a pickup from the airport as well as take us to the airport the next morning, they did charge a reasonable 25 euros each way, but well worth it. The rooms were clean and comfy, fun colors and had everything we needed right there. The beach is a short block away, we walked to one waterfront restaurant for a delicious late lunch and went the other direction for sunset drinks. It was a lovely end to our fabulous trip.
