Staff were excellent. Room was clean and adequate. Only disappointment was the kitchen was closed for renovation so no hot breakfast, no dining options and no bar service … they did provide us with a bag breakfast which was ok. Coffee/tea was available in the lobby as well… not the same. We should have been warned prior to booking …

The website advertises a continental breakfast. The owner has been told by the staff to update their website because of complaints but the owner fails to get it done. An exercise room is also advertised, but it is not available at the hotel. I would have to drive to an exercise facility down the road. The room is also noisy as highway 50 runs in front of the hotel.

The pool and steakhouse were nice and the rooms were nice. I didn’t expect to be put across the street, beware there is a lower rate for the rooms across the street which were nice but not by my friends and the pool which was what I’d expected… good breakfast and dinner. Check out the Mexican restaurant across the street it was a hidden gem!

We pick this hotel because the pool and hot tub. We checked in and they put us in another building across the 4 lane hyway. My wife is having knee and hip issues and was looking forward to a good soaking. No changing rooms. I guess should be more disappointed with hotels. com who we booked with for not knowing this.

Room was dirty on floor, looked like it had not been. Some wall sockets were loose when you plug something into it. Caulking in shower was black and shower faucet was very hard to turn on .

Toilet didn’t work, shower bar fell off, no towels upon arrival, then found the previous guests towels on the back of the door. Hen we mentioned this upon checkout they did credit us $23.00 dollars. Didn’t like the smell of smoke when we checked in on the casino side of place.

Faucet was broken, sheets were not clean, garbage behind night stand, TV didn’t work, we’re renovating kitchen and not informed when booking room, fridge froze food. Will never stay there again. Owner was supposed to call me back as he was not there during checkout. He never called despite leaving 2 messages.

The property was overall rundown and unkempt. The shower bench in the handicapped accessible room was dirty and unsafe. One of the rubber tip has disintegrated and was bare metal on tile - no stability whatsoever. There are appeared to have fecal matter on the seat. I refused to use it. I have pics of both.

I had a king room and the bed was fantastic! 6 pillows and super comfortable. Room was clean and tidy. The restaurant (JT’s Steakhouse) was pleasantly surprising! I ate downstairs in the bar and Robin waited on me. She was great! Room filled up and I was never in need of anything. The ribeye steak was probably in my top five favorites. The scalloped potatoes, although maybe a touch salty, as they can be, were amazing! That meal was delicious. Robin also makes a great Old Fashioned!! The only issue for me is there was staff smoking on a bench right outside my room. Don’t care if they smoke but wish there was another place for them instead of right outside the rooms. That was the only downside. Staff was super friendly all night. I would definitely stay here again and would love to have another go at a rib eye!

It would be cool if the staff could hande room problems. I drove up and found they had parking. Booked online and was put across the street. Normally not a problem, but i had a truck with trailer. Staff informed me it was impossible to change my room. Not happy.

I travelled for a political convention and while there were some definite "issues" with other locations in Ely, NV, This hotel was a respite from all of them. I had an issue with my TV late evening and a person from the front desk immediately came to my room and attempted to fix the issue personally!! I didn\'t have to ask, it was her immediate response, how refreshing!!

It was interesting that online the cost was roughly $63 however when we checked in at the front desk without a reservation it $88. The front desk attendant allowed me to take a second and reserve the room online while standing at the counter. Then he noted that if we made that online, he had to place us in another location across the road. This gentleman should get a raise and promotion for using courtesy, kindness and logic. We checked in at 11oclock on a snowy Saturday night. He took all aspect of situation and absolutely made the best of the situation. Breakfast the next morning was really good. Just couldn't be happier.

We arrived at 2pm, which was supposed to be check in time. No rooms were ready. They said come back at 3. Still no rooms ready. They told us they would come get us from the casino as soon as our room was ready. At 3:30, we went back up to yhe front desk, and they were checki g people in. Was quite irritated that they didn't dp what they said. The room , once we actually got to check in, was nice, clean and comfortable.

This was our second stay and will not be our last. Property is well located with good parking. On-property restaurant, JT"s Steakhouse, is excellent. Pricing seems a little high for the community, but the value exceeds the price. My steak was delicious and so big that I could not finish it. JT's also does a great breakfast15% more expensive than Denny's, but 40% better.

The hotel rooms were across the street from the main hotel and swimming pool, which was quite inconvenient. Also, breakfast in the am was a sack breakfast which you took back to your room to heat and eat.

We stayed in the annex across from the main building where the rooms are adjacent to the casino. We had ground floor room that was clean and convenient and appropriately updated. It was next door to a great Mexican food restaurant, La Fiesta. It is located in the heart of the new downtown and very convenient.

The hotel advertises with a included breakfast , and shows a picture of a well stocked breakfast room , but all you get is a brown bag with a cold nasty Jimmy Dean sandwich , apple juice ,a diet yoghurt and a granola bar , and no place to eat it . Covid is over , lets move on .

Room was clean and comfortable, the steakhouse on property was fantastic, probably had the best old-fashioned I’ve ever had. The staff and servers were extremely friendly and did a great job to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. Definitely plan on staying there again.
