Great Hotel. Budget price but quality hotel. We were on floor 12 of 18 floors. Lifts fast and spacious. Wasnt waiting long at all. The room had a mini kitchen and dining area. We didnt need this but it was well equiped and organised. Bathroom hand/body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided and very nice. Complimentary water in the fridge. Breakfast was the best we have had! Plenty of Gluten free options. Choice of eggs and omelettes made to order. Staff great nothing too much. Lot's of choice. The only thing i would change would be for the jams and spreads to be individual packets. Shared jars meant people double dipped therefore a cross contamination risk for Ceoliacs. However i asked for a new potion and it was not problem at all. We had to pay a refundable £50 deposit (for any breakages) and told as we were leaving there was a £1.20 city tax that would be deducted from the deposit taken. This should be known when booking. Definitely staying there again!

Great comfortable large room and amazing buffet breakfast which is well worth it. My air conditioning did make some loud strange noises and there was no garbage bin in the kitchen which was odd but other than that a very comfortable stay. Good gym facility too.

Lovely breakfast with different options, food is cooked perfectly well. The room is modern and clean. Gym facility is small but has everything we needed. Parking is not the most convenient but we managed to find a spot where is closer to the hotel and it’s much cheaper! Overall, we had a really good stay! All staff is professional and friendly.

Everything very modern and clean. Makes for a delightful stay away. Superb showers in bedroom! Parking available over the road at University of Manchester car park B, with 2 banks of EV chargers available.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Really nice room and superb breakfast. We had lots of problems parking nearby which wasn't great and staff member at the desk for some reason whispered everything making me feel like I was 90! Would definitely go back.

Cannot fault my stay, apart from the person who may have been a concierge watching me get trapped in the revolving door with all my luggage when I arrived. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was perfect with all necessities available. Spacios and temperature easy to set. The bed was something else and had probably one of the most comfortable sleeps in a long time. Bar, restaurant and nights staff wonderful. Food and drinks amazing. Checkout was smooth and the lady who offered to carry my bags to the car (I refused btw) was fantastic. Highly recommend and will stay again when I'm in Manchester.

Really exceptional. The quality of fixtures and cleanliness of room was unbeatable. The room seemed barnd new, but we stayed here 18mths ago and so I knew it wasn't. The grout, sealant, cleanliness of every aspect including pans, glasses etc. was really unbeatable. Quality of pillows. quilts and linens really amke the difference, better than hotels at 3 times the price.The breakfast is really outstanding. The egg chef was partciularly good (best omlette in a very long time) and variety of offering fantastic (would love black pudding though). HP sauce and ketchup available in a large pot and long spoon saving thousands of single use plastic sachets- really appreciate the effort to avoid plastic. UHT plastic sachets still in room but not sure how to avoid, other than small jug milk in fridge - paper top for freshness? We come to Manchester often and will always stay here.

From the moment i arrived it felt so warm and welcoming. The staff were amazing and friendly . The room was immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, a huge variety that certainly set me up until teatime. Front of house staff were warm and plenty of smiles. Staff on the front desk extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I explained that my dad was joining me and housekeeping was arranged swiftly to make up hus bed and provide extra towels. Towels and bedding lovely and fresh. Will definitely come again

Excellent staff service both at check in and check out, reception very friendly, in- room dinning option was of very good standard. Breakfast options were also excellent. Minor improvements would be attention to detail with room items as shower gel in the shower was empty and not replaced. A light in the entrance near the big mirror would help as that part of the room was quite dim especially when getting ready and dressing up.

This is the 3rd time we hv stayed here and i think they hv taken the regular guests as granted !!! The room wasn’t cleaned properly, there were no slippers or bath robes, we were two of us and there was only 1 towel. So what can I say ……… disappointing

The Hyatt House is great value for money. I absolutely love staying there. The place has a lovely modern yet homely feel and it feels a little luxurious without the high price tag or pretentiousness. The apartments feel like just that - your own home in Manchester and they are high up meaning you get fabulous views to boot. I rate the breakfast - its decent and I've not been able to find anything they haven't got. The location works well but if you wanted to be in a gorgeous part of the city, you will be dissapointed. However if like me, you want the convenience of being close enough in, but also feeling that you can unwind away from the hussle, it's actually perfect. There is something about sitting on the 18th floor looking at the weather passing over the city as the sun goes down that is actually quite relaxing!

Very nice hotel, felt very nice all round, very clean and staff very friendly. Very good bathroom. Only downsides were that it was rather hot in the room and the air con didn't let us drop it below a certain temperature and the bedding wasn't the most comfy, a bit plastic-y, but it was absolutely fine for a hotel!

Very big rooms and the area is quiet so not much noise pollution. The staff are great and checkout can be done online as late as 12pm. Excellent hotel.

The hotel was very clean and good location too. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was really nice with variety of food and drinks. The only thing I didn’t like was the heating, it made a loud noise, It didn’t let us sleep.

Was ignored by the individual checking me in, and instead they kept trying to talk to my companion. Everything was registered in my name, but I was talked over and ignored. I am generally polite, but this was fairly obvious sexism and a deeply irritating way to start off my visit. I have been here before and hadn't experienced this in the past, but also know the typical check in protocol. I hope this was just a one off issue.

The hotel itself was lovely. However we just had a bad experience leaving as we were told to leave via the ‘back exit’ quite abruptly by the usher at reception as ‘someone important’ was leaving the hotel. So that member of staff was definitely lacking in customer service. Other staff members were nice, and Otherwise no issues with the cleanliness of the hotel itself. Only one member of staff was rude, I will not likely be returning again due to this experience
The hotel itself was lovely. However we just had a bad experience leaving as we were told to leave via the ‘back exit’ quite abruptly by the usher at reception as ‘someone important’ was leaving the hotel. So that member of staff was definitely lacking in customer service. Other staff members were nice, and Otherwise no issues with the cleanliness of the hotel itself. Only one member of staff was rude, I will not likely be returning again due to this experience

Overall the staff were fantastic. Always helpful and willing. The ladies at breakfast were exceptional, (the hostess (can't recall her name) along with Ilona, Hiba were wonderful to interact with.

Cannot fault my stay, apart from the person who may have been a concierge watching me get trapped in the revolving door with all my luggage when I arrived. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was perfect with all necessities available. Spacios and temperature easy to set. The bed was something else and had probably one of the most comfortable sleeps in a long time. Bar, restaurant and nights staff wonderful. Food and drinks amazing. Checkout was smooth and the lady who offered to carry my bags to the car (I refused btw) was fantastic. Highly recommend and will stay again when I'm in Manchester.

I booked the hotel to attend a concert at the Royal Northern College of Music which was across the road. My room was on 15th floor with incredible virews of the Penines and the University area of Manchester. Breakfast was included in my booking too, plenty of choice and it started early which was a bonus.

Very nice hotel in a central location, 10 minutes walk to the centre. Arrived early and the hotel sorted out the room for us without charge Club room facilities are a little different than usual as this is given in the main bar area, but still well worth it.

The hotel was gorgeous from the entrance to the lift to the corridors to the room. The whole hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. All staff were lovely and we also got an upgrade on arrival due to it being for my boyfriend’s birthday. The only down side to the stay was the hotel was located about 15 mins away from the centre of Manchester, however taxis are always close by and there’s also a metro close by. All in all it was a gorgeous stay and definitely would visit again.

Really exceptional. The quality of fixtures and cleanliness of room was unbeatable. The room seemed barnd new, but we stayed here 18mths ago and so I knew it wasn't. The grout, sealant, cleanliness of every aspect including pans, glasses etc. was really unbeatable. Quality of pillows. quilts and linens really amke the difference, better than hotels at 3 times the price.The breakfast is really outstanding. The egg chef was partciularly good (best omlette in a very long time) and variety of offering fantastic (would love black pudding though). HP sauce and ketchup available in a large pot and long spoon saving thousands of single use plastic sachets- really appreciate the effort to avoid plastic. UHT plastic sachets still in room but not sure how to avoid, other than small jug milk in fridge - paper top for freshness? We come to Manchester often and will always stay here.

Great Hotel. Budget price but quality hotel. We were on floor 12 of 18 floors. Lifts fast and spacious. Wasnt waiting long at all. The room had a mini kitchen and dining area. We didnt need this but it was well equiped and organised. Bathroom hand/body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided and very nice. Complimentary water in the fridge. Breakfast was the best we have had! Plenty of Gluten free options. Choice of eggs and omelettes made to order. Staff great nothing too much. Lot's of choice. The only thing i would change would be for the jams and spreads to be individual packets. Shared jars meant people double dipped therefore a cross contamination risk for Ceoliacs. However i asked for a new potion and it was not problem at all. We had to pay a refundable £50 deposit (for any breakages) and told as we were leaving there was a £1.20 city tax that would be deducted from the deposit taken. This should be known when booking. Definitely staying there again!

A fabulous stay here. We had a one bedroom apartment - everything was really clean and there were fantastic views over the city. Room service food and the breakfast were great and all the staff were super helpful. A great location for seeing a gig at Manchester Academy.

Really felt comfortable and relaxed through the 3 nights stay at the hotel. Breakfast was top notch. Really enjoyed the quality of food served. Coffee could have been better though. Evening dinner was good quality, freshly made, and the waiting staff attention to detail was great. Water at the reception. My room was very warm, as soon as I reported it, it was fixed. The only downside was the hidden charge of “council tax “! How and why that is not disclosed until you check out is mind boggling! Definitely something which management have to work on. Also it would help if the hotel declares the £100 deposit required when you check in as many may not necessarily have that amount of money.

Breakfast standards are really high and it’s nice to be able to have your eggs anyway you want it cooked there and then fresh. A great selection including a continental option, cereals and artisan bread. Rooms are very comfy and contemporary with ample space and the kitchenette is a great touch especially if you have to stay longer than the average two nights. A real home from home.

When I first came in staff were immediately welcoming. Clearly explained everything to me and gave me all the information needed about the property and things such as the breakfast times, laundry facilities, and gym. Additionally they were very clear in things such as the city tax fees and deposit. Along with this they were very friendly and asked what I was in Manchester for, I told them I was at a festival and they told me to make sure I have fun. Made me feel very confident in the hotel and staff and this continued for the rest of the stay. Location is perfect for the MMU/Oxford Road area and will be staying again the next time I am in the area

Our 4th stay here and, as ever, the staff were excellent, the room spacious and with everything we could need (and more). Particularly we’ve always felt the bed is extremely comfortable! Close to the centre and the university so great for visiting the city and especially if you’re visiting someone at the university.
