Nice welcome at the door from the gate and door staff but that's where the pleasantries ended. Reception somewhat indifferent, not at all helpful or welcoming. Room (ITC One) absolutely huge but feels dated. Marvellous views from the windows to the Mumbai skyline. Breakfast has good Indian and western choices in a dining room style. Good pool and gym. Irish bar on site and a couple of restaurants. Overall, very underwhelming and easily forgettable I'm afraid. Probably wouldn't return unless other similar establishments full.

Room was large, very clean with a basket of fresh fruit to welcome us. The bathroom was spacious and shower was excellent with hot water. Staff would stop by and ask if we needed anything. The breakfast was sumptuous and though a buffet staff was always available to get us our coffee or bring the omelette over from the station. They have a cocktail hour from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm on the 30th floor with beautiful views of the city. I’ll be back.

I was asked while checking in if I wanted coffee sent up to my room. I said yes but coffee never sent. The water was cold in the shower. The restaurant Kebab and Kurries couldn’t handle a credit card transaction agains my US issue card. I had to to the reception to use their card machine.

Extended my stay here and stayed for 17 nights in total, and booked 2 Executive rooms. Amazing staff....from the entrance to the hotel by the security guards and welcoming Indian dressed greeter to the reception staff to the catering staff to the house cleaning staff (especially Rashuvir), they were ALL absolutely fabulous. Even the breakfast chef would prepare my special cooked sausages perfectly (and he remembered this everyday without fail!). Any request was perfectly executed and relayed to all the staff as a reminder for next time. Wow amazing training, and genuine responsive staff. 100% satisfied. Will DEFINITELY stay here again (stayed here twice now). Wouldn't even dream about staying anywhere else. Keep up the good work :). You guys are a shining example of amazing Indian hospitality.

For the price we paid, the rooms were very small, and the quality breakfast experience at a 5 star hotel, I felt, was lacking. Beds were comfortable, and the location was good. However when staying in Mumbai, I much rather recommend Nariman Point and along the ocean front stay. However, unfortunately, you will not find a Mariott hotel in that area.

Inevitably, perhaps, our stay at the Grand Central was fantastic. This was our only 5 star hotel stay in our 3-weeks in India so we don’t have anything to compare it with, but its splendour, comfort and quality shone through in every detail. We opted for the Executive Club Exclusive because it has the window seat which made for a fabulous spot to relax. We had the breakfast which, though primarily Indian fare, catered for all tastes. Uber is so good in Mumbai that to us it wasn’t that important which neighbourhood we stayed in, but Parel isn’t the loveliest of locales.

This hotel is very elegant, we stayed at 3 different hotels in India during our 15-day trip, the ITC Hotel is by far the best property out of the 3, although it is about $40 more per night than the other two properties. Still it made a huge difference in elegance. Location is also pretty good as it is close to multiple touristic attractions in south Mumbai and a couple of shopping malls.

The staff from the management on down are inflexible, unfeeling, and unwilling to help a client outside of their very tightly followed rules. Management when presented with the issue was snarky at best, but again unwilling to help a client with an issue. The hotel is lovely. The management staff is not.

Checked in late last night - was able to check out late due to Marriott life time Platinum status - don’t know anything about area surrounding the hotel. Selected this hotel for its proximity to Dadar Station - plan to take train to Baroda at 3 PM with 2 heavy bags brought from USA - hard to take on domestic flights in India!

For the price we paid, the rooms were very small, and the quality breakfast experience at a 5 star hotel, I felt, was lacking. Beds were comfortable, and the location was good. However when staying in Mumbai, I much rather recommend Nariman Point and along the ocean front stay. However, unfortunately, you will not find a Mariott hotel in that area.

The overall experience was near perfect. This would definitely be my go to hotel every time i ll be in Bombay. Their breakfast spread was amazing, fresh and delicious. It was worth more than i spent. Despite booking last moment, they didnt really rip my pocket off. Highly recommended 👌
