The resort is beautiful, and there are a lot of great amenities. We were disappointed by the fact that there was no sauna, the men's steam room was out of service, and use of those costs $50 per day. In addition, there is a requirement to use the valet service, and the restaurant does not serve breakfast during the week. Plus, we couldn't get room service. This was unexpected and disappointing as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. If we had known, we surely would have picked a different hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and very nicely located. It has a lot of wonderful amenities and is surprisingly very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable and a nice size. Upon arrival we discovered the only kind of parking was valet which was $39 dollars a day. That was a bit off putting. I also booked this as a hotel stay not realizing this is a time share property. Where were taken to a desk to try to sign us up for a presentation and tour. Which we politely declined. It is close to shops and restaurants and has lovely pools indoor and out that also have handicap access. The spa is beautiful and has lovely relaxation areas and even mixed and women areas only. The spa was a bit over priced for the types of services we received and they included their own 22% gratuity. Which having worked in the spa industry for 18 years I thought was a bit on the nose and should be at the discretion of the client based on service. The restaurant was nice but could use some updating to the decor and the menu. The cafe was nice and convenient with a little grocery store inside as well as Starbucks. Overall it’s a beautiful resort and has a lot of wonderful features just a few extra costs that seem excessive. Lovely place for a ladies weekend or celebrating something special. The entry is very grand and lots of great picture spots as well. Would definitely return.

The floor carpet was filthy. After 10 minutes of walking on floor in the room our white socks were black with dirt. We had to keep our shoes on in the room. One of the shower container shampoo/conditioner was completely empty. Was getting info on things to do in the city and there was no stationary or pens to write with. Only way to park was valet. 40 dlls per night. No self parking. Last time we were there it was a very pleasant experience. Not so much this time. Contemplating staying elsewhere next time

For razor and never brought one Pool food closed at 7 pm in summer 4th of july food was not kid friendly Guy trying get us to go to timeshare meeting was a pain and didn’t want to hear no when we first cked in Couldnt pay cash at coffee shop and food was always out and limited Cking out Angelica was awesome

This is a very nice property. The only things I didn’t care for were the expensive/mandatory valet charge of $39 a night and the fact that you don’t get housekeeping during your stay. At a hotel like this I would expect nightly turndown service as well as a freshening of the room each day. It would be nice if they replenished towels and made the bed and took out the trash to make the room feel fresh again. Instead, you walk into however you left it! I did call downstairs to find out if no housekeeping was normal and was told that it was, but they could replenish towels, water, take out the garbage on request. I told them we needed fresh bath towels and water and they arrived at our door shortly after I requested them. So, not a huge deal, but it’s just surprising at a hotel of this caliber to not be extra “service-y”. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of dining options on the premises which was convenient. We didn’t use the pool, but it did look beautiful and spacious.

I would definitely NOT recommend staying at this “hotel”. They charged an additional resort and mandatory valet parking fees when we checked in that were not part of the original price. They also would not clean our room, empty the trash or provide any type of turn-down service. When we called to ask why, they stated that they don’t provide that service and if we wanted the trash removed we should bag it and place it outside the room door on the main hallway. That is disgusting!!! They were kind enough to bring clean towels but only after we asked for them. I would definitely stay away from this hotel unless you don’t mind cleaning your own room and paying additional fees

We checked in Thursday mid-afternoon and promptly given our hotel pass key. We went to our assigned room only to discover the room was handicapped accessible, which I am not nor did I request. I tried calling the front desk from the hotel room but the cordless telephone was dead so I went to the front desk to request a non handicapped room. I was told “sorry, we are sold out and can’t provide any other accommodation”. I expressed my concern that the room given to me needs to be available for someone who really is handicapped but the clerk didn’t seem to be interested in resolving this matter. The room was incredibly dusty and the countertop on night stands and desk area had water glass stains from the previous guest. The bathroom shower was open concept for easy wheelchair accessibility which meant there was no shower curtain so when taking a shower, water is just splashing everywhere. No way to stop water from running all over the bathroom floor. Not even a floor mat was offered so you had to lay a towel on the floor so you wouldn’t slip and bust your rear end. Because it is a handicap shower, the shower head was a lot lower so you had to squat under the shower head. Then when I was taking a shower, I learned the attached soap dispenser was totally empty and had to use the small bar of soap that is provided to wash your hands at the sink. After showering, I was looking for a hook or towel rack to hang your towel but NOTHING is provided. NOT impressed with this hotel or staff

The Eilan is ideally situated in the limestone cliffs of the hill country. It is upscale while not stuffy. The concierge is gracious and accommodating. The rooms are roomy with comfy beds, worldly with ergonomic chair, good lighting, and lots of storage. Great shower and lots of bathroom counter space. Easy access to ice. Mini fridge keeps bottled drinks ( and chocolate candy!) cooled until needed.

Our room was clean but it was not fully dark at night as the curtains were not totally black out. The water pressure was poor and it was very difficult to book the room since you have to go through a third party.

Told them it was my birthday when making reservations. When I arrived my name wasn’t on the marquee like the other birthdays and anniversaries. My room had a patio with lounge chairs but couldn’t enjoy it because the door didn’t work. :( Boooo on my birthday!!

Pretty, but only on the surface. Lights in the room didn’t work, AC went out for several hours, elevator sounds like it might not make it, front entry doors not working. Only valet available, no self park. Pool hazy, didn’t seem clean. Front desk staff seem confused. Great location though.

Frustration with a required high parking fee without an option for free parking. Wasn’t as clean in the common areas as we would have liked. The decor was dated and clearly old with some pretty bad wear on it. There is so much potential to be a great resort, but they don’t take the necessary next steps to be in the next level resort category. We enjoyed our stay and were appreciative of the comfort we had, but it just was missing something.

The room was big, very spacious. The property is nice. The area has a lot of construction. The valet process isn’t great, they have a lot of drivers but the space is small. Overall we were pleased, we would stay again.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning decor and a lovely atmosphere. However, our overall experience was marred by a lack of customer service. During our stay, we asked one of the front desk staff members to take a photo of us, but she barely acknowledged us—she simply took the phone, snapped the picture, and returned it without any engagement. We expressed our gratitude, but she simply nodded in response. We also rented a cabana, but unfortunately, we were never approached by staff to take our drink orders. Instead, we had to go up to the front ourselves to get our own drinks, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, we were not informed at check-in that we would need to give a 24-hour notice for room service, which would have been helpful to know. Overall, the experience with customer service left much to be desired. It's a shame because the hotel itself is lovely and has great potential.

This is a very nice property. The only things I didn’t care for were the expensive/mandatory valet charge of $39 a night and the fact that you don’t get housekeeping during your stay. At a hotel like this I would expect nightly turndown service as well as a freshening of the room each day. It would be nice if they replenished towels and made the bed and took out the trash to make the room feel fresh again. Instead, you walk into however you left it! I did call downstairs to find out if no housekeeping was normal and was told that it was, but they could replenish towels, water, take out the garbage on request. I told them we needed fresh bath towels and water and they arrived at our door shortly after I requested them. So, not a huge deal, but it’s just surprising at a hotel of this caliber to not be extra “service-y”. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of dining options on the premises which was convenient. We didn’t use the pool, but it did look beautiful and spacious.

Amazing service and great location!! Beautiful hotel. The chef at the restaurant made my friends and I amazing bacon not on the menu for us not once but twice, after sampling it the night we arrived. She went out of her way and we were so appreciative of it!

When we checked in, we were told there would be no daily housekeeping; if we needed anything we would need to call the front desk.---we did need things, so we called---the requested items were brought to our room in a decent amount of time.

The hotel has become a "self serve" operation so no house keeping, no bell man (my husband had back injury) Tons of valet who were friendly and helpful. Front desk was not and had an "oh well" that's our policy attitude. Restaurants in area are great and property is quiet. Bar at Sustenio was full but bar tendar had attitude and shewed everyone off during last half of game. What a shame. This use to be THE place to staycation.

Valet service was exceptional, and much better than customer service inside the hotel. We had to ask for all information - and it was given with attitude: asked about check out time, pool hours and pool location,etc. cleanliness moderate. Very few guests, so imagine it may be poor if busy. It seemed the front desk staff did not want to be there. Felt we were inconveniencing them for basic info (like questions about location of pool and check out time). No pool towels out at pool. Later discovered them in our room, in the closet. Just no information given. We’d gone to the resort website to figure out food options on site, etc. At 8:30 am, pounding at our door by a man in a polo with gloves on. No name tag, no polo identifying as a staff member. When my husband answered, he just walked away. Phone rang twice, first time no one on the other line. Second time, front desk asking if we’d changed rooms last night. No, we had not. Confusion over what room we were in, so they thought it was vacant? The pool hours begin at 10 am, we were told, when checkout is. For the size resort, outdoor pool very small. Wouldn’t stay here again. They didn’t bother explaining anything about the property or activities, just handed over a folder with information. The checkout process was especially bad — they knocked on the door, called the room, and hung up, all to rush me out. They even charged $40 for a 40-minute late checkout, which was ridiculous. Also, be aware: the restaurants around the property close at 9 PM, so if you want a nice dinner, you’ll have to drive into the city. Overall, it felt rushed, unwelcoming, and not worth it.

Very beautiful views, in the city but far enough out to avoid traffic. Loved that you have main highways close by and there is a shopping center about 5 minutes away, even less. Enjoyed our stay with 2 kids, they only do valet but they are professional and offer a fast service.

It felt very isolated. The area itself is beautiful but if felt like a deserted area. The only time we saw people was Saturday night standing in a very long line for a restaurant/bar.

My 13 old year son and I had a wonderful stay for a visit to Six Flags Fiesta from the Dallas area. Hotel location was very convenient and the property is beautiful. Lots of amenities (indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, pickle ball, basketball), not too crowded, and friendly staff. Several walkable restaurants and a short drive to many more dining/entertainment options. We really had no complaints. That being said, this is not a luxury hotel experience. If you are looking for upscale service, this is not it. We brought our own food and drinks for the room and prefer to keep to ourselves so this was perfectly fine for us. The valet was fast and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The resort is beautiful, and there are a lot of great amenities. We were disappointed by the fact that there was no sauna, the men's steam room was out of service, and use of those costs $50 per day. In addition, there is a requirement to use the valet service, and the restaurant does not serve breakfast during the week. Plus, we couldn't get room service. This was unexpected and disappointing as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. If we had known, we surely would have picked a different hotel.

There is NO housekeeping which demerits the service considerably, it was a disappointment since when you make the reservation they don’t mention this. The restaurant closes for breakfast and lunch almost all week, which is also another disappointment leaving you only to get food at the coffee shop or outside the hotel.

Excellent. Pool is awesome! They have a bar and a restaurant as well as open late. Indoor pool. Spa was excellent. They have a cafe. Valet only parking. There’s a bar and coffe shop as well as nice restaurants with in walking distance. No one even said a word about a tour for time share. We stayed 2 nights.

First off, This hotel listing should be updated as some of the services listed on this site are no longer offered. I chose this hotel for the closeness to my point of interest. The hotel doesn't offer an area shuttle service (as listed on the property page) The hotel is secluded and require transportation. The hotel has a conveniant store that closes at 8Pm, a restaurant that close at 9pm. No room service. If you're hungry past 9Pm, uber eats is your only choice. i tried 3 of the 4 restaurant on the domain, located on the backside of the hotel, they all close at 9pm and were all pretty bad quality, Uniko, Al Taco were horrible, food & service. The italian place was much better. The lobby looks luxurious but that where the "Luxury" ends.The rooms (based on mine) can you some retouch& better pillows. No room service, no way to get a snack past 9pm. After my first night, I requested for my room to be refreshed, i was told by the front desk that this is a time share hotel and housekeeping are not allowed in the rooms, they could however drop off fresh towels if needed. Using any ride app was aslo a challenge as they all took from 10 to 15 min to pick up and the rides cost over $10 for a 1.5 mile trip. This might be perfecrt for retires looking to use all the sports activities this "hotel" offers.
