Great location, spacious room, lovely bathroom with an excellent shower and good pressure. The pool was amazing though we didn’t use it just had a peek. This is a very large hotel with access to a huge shopping area beneath. Staff were friendly, the bar area at reception served a small choice of food which was excellent, even served warm milk with a lovely coffee. The restaurant was also very good, comfortable with good menu choices. Would stay again if in Beijing.

The concierge at this hotel was amazing! She booked several appointments for me, National Museum and Tiananmen Square, which I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own without a local phone number. She also followed up with me to ensure I knew exactly where to go. The pool, like all the other reviews rave about, is also amazing!!!

Un magnifique hôtel, très bien situé pour visiter le centre de Beijing, la cité interdite, etc…. La piscine est vraiment très belle et agréable. Attention, comme partout en Chine, le bonnet de bain est obligatoire.

The swimming pool area is like a paradise.

We stayed for a week in July. This is a perfect location for exploring the old Beijing on foot. We walked to Qian Men, Liu Li Chang to the south, and Shi Sha Hai to the north. Biking would also be fun, if we could get the app to work . There are tons of restaurants and a food court within the complex, for convenience. But I highly recommend the executive lounge. They make good bread. It calms my stomach after a day of exciting Chinese food .

We stayed et the update two bedroom suite with lounge access & it was super spacious and clean. Excellent service and lounge food was pretty good. Amazing amazing pool and fitness center. If i ever come back to Beijing, i would definitely stay here again. Great location .. close to shopping & restaurants.

L’hôtel est magnifique en particulier le lobby, la piscine et la salle de sport. En revanche, la chambre/appartement était très en dessous de ce à quoi nous nous attendions. Ménage approximatif, mobilier usé. Bref assez déçue de ce côté là.

王府井にあるのでショッピングも食事も便利です。部屋は清潔でしたが、洗面台の下とか排水溝が外れやすいとかドアの下とか雑な工事なんだろうなぁと思うところが多かったです。建物全体にも何となく嫌な匂いはありましたがそれはこの国全体なのでどうしようもないかな。リネンもなんか独特なにおいがして寝付けなかったです。

Check in was extremely quick, the entrance is a little bit chaotic sometimes, because of didi and taxis. The bar has good drinks, breakfast has a great variety of food. All the staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the main building and it was great, clean , it had a washer/dryer machine . The furniture was slightly outdated but not a big deal. The restaurant made in china was also amazing. Overall Great hotel!

The lobby is wonderful. The rooms and hall ways have a smell and are out dated. Old and dirty

The room we were given was old and smelled a bit- other than that it was spacious as we got a king room suite - there were more renovated areas of the hotel however felt we didn’t get a good room for what we paid . Staff were nice and other amenities were good. Pool and spa was good, however the massage that cost me nearly $300 wasn’t worth it.

A great location and the quality of food in the restaurants is superb. Enjoyed the very spacious gym during the week stay. However, the room is a little small and decor is dated.

Having enjoyed our recent stay at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, I was disappointed that Grand Hyatt Beijing's rooms were not as good. Small bathroom with small vanity counter and small sink so water kept splashing out when we washed our faces. No remote control toilet and bidet which the SZ hotel had. Breakfast spread not very tasty. Good point is that the front desk and concierge spoke very good english.

We stayed here for two nights during the summer and it was a pretty good experience. Let’s start by saying the rooms are a bit dated but they did renovate the lobby to be more modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was one of my favorites of the most of the hotels I’ve stayed at. The hotel is located in the city center where you can find numerous modes of transportation to many popular spots.

Having read mixed reviews about old and new rooms I decided to book this hotel given it has the best location in downtown Beijing. I had a rough start, upon arriving on the metro and walking through the mall to find locked doors inside the mall to the hotel with no directions how to walk outside and around the mall in the rain to find the entrance. It was not straightforward and nobody knew where it was to help as the mall was filled with tourists. Finding the hotel entrance was not easy. Tired aggregated and wet I finally got into the room and I had booked which was the apartment as I thought having a washing machine would be a great convenience. Unfortunately, the apartment room was very dated and it had been smoked in many times. After 30 minutes I just could not take the residual smoke smell anymore and dragged myself down to the lobby hoping for a new room. The front desk came through with 5 stars and put me in a beautiful new room which I spent 3 nights in. The hotel lobby and restaurants are first class and beautiful, great pool and gym and the breakfast rivaled any that I have been to, it was simply outstanding! My stay went from starting out as a disaster to one of the top I have stayed in. Make sure you book one of the new rooms on the website and not the apartment and you will be impressed. Oh and the restaurant “Made in China” lives up to its Michelin rating! Excellence!!! I will be back on my next visit! Cecilia the concierge was also a pleasure!

Very conveniently located, breakfast spread was very good. Friendly reception staff, and in particular, outstanding concierge team. They provided useful information on tours when I queried about them via email before my stay, and haloed to reserve a table at Make in China, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, in advance. When my teenager girl has problems with the delivery of stuff she purchased on Taobao, concierge staff was very helpful in helping to resolve the matter. But Make in China restaurant is overrated.

酒店員工有禮，大堂前台員工及bellboy的服務都很專業。惟酒店房間服務未夠細心，酒店沒有因應客人訂房資訊去預先安排有關服務，如：沒有預先安排加床（第一天更沒有足夠床可以安排），也沒有安排小孩用品在房間。 嘉賓軒樓層早餐種類一般，住了5晚，天天種類沒有太大分別。此外，經常沒有安排餐具放在桌上。飲品區經常沒有茶杯及玻璃杯，食品區亦經常沒有碗碟。餐廳員工是友善有禮的，估計是不夠員工。 房間方面，設施比較老舊。第一天入住時，房間大廳及廳廁所有異味。第二天清潔完房間後，好了一些。房間燈光亦有點昏暗。 最後，此酒店是VIP Access酒店, 雖然是金會員，但沒有任何禮遇。

Nice room, nice location, easy walkable to shopping, dining and almost anything. Oh, nice pool! The staff was ok, we arrived at 2pm after a 30 hours travel. The staff told us the room was not ready for 40 minutes, so we waited for 40 minutes, they told us we had to wait for another 40 minutes. Guess what, we came back after the second 40 minutes, they told us they need another 30 mins....

Comcierge service was amazing.

Not too fond of their early policies as they require a full day for being early. Although all the rooms where spotless the policies need reimagined

I had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing with my wife and daughter! The hotel is fantastic, offering luxurious accommodations and excellent service. A special shout-out to Cecilia, who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. She assisted with finding tours and planning our itinerary in the most professional and responsible way. Her dedication to making sure travelers have a smooth experience truly stood out. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beijing!

The hotel is perfect for both business and family travelers for its locatiom, amenities, etc., but for the best stay, contact CECILIA, the hotel concierge, before departing for the hotel bc she IS FANTASTIC (!!!) and really made all of the difference in our stay. She will arrange all of your transportation to/from the airpot and hotel, suggest and arrange any activities, make resrvations to restaurants and venues, and ensure every facet of your stay is perfect. The hotel pool is unbelievable and not to be missed, even if just to walk down to see it, the gym and lockers are clean, and the spa and massage staff incredibly accommodating. Bathing suits can be purchased but even just sitting poolside is worth a visit.

Good location we can walk to The Palace Museum, the park, and a walking street for shopping. There is also a mall available under the hotel. . They provide breakfast, lunch, dinner Nice employees too Recommend

The hotel location is so convenient for shopping and walking around. The staff was helpful and polite, the room was very clean and organized. Just one thing, please put a sign indicating a beverage fee in the refrigerator. Since there was no such sign, my kid thought the drinks in the refrigerator were free and consumed two bottles of juice. And we were charged although we explained the situation to the staff when we checked out.

It’s situated centrally in downtown Beijing above a large mall with excellent facilities: metro stations with full connectivity to the amazing rail network. The area is next to Wangfujing street : the shopping mecca. The mall has tons of dining options. The staff are fantastic and very helpful- tip: download a good translation app and you will be glad you did.

Excellent hotel with great staff and service. The food is outstanding. A truly luxury hotel in all aspects. The location is very good and close to many attractions, and a few minutes walk to Wangfujing pedestrian street with lots of local shops and major international brand stores. A vibrant place for an evening walk or shopping. Recommend booking stay with inclusion of the Grand Hyatt Lounge which is also very family friendly.

We had a fabulous stay at the Grand Hyatt. Very clean and comfortable. It is attached to a shopping centre so really handy for shops and restaurants. It is so close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden city/Palace museum. We ate in the Grand Hyatt taste of China and the food was outstanding. The breakfast was good with excellent choices. Plenty of western food for those that wanted it. I will definitely stay again if we are back in Beijing in future.
