It was originally office units, it would be nice if there were vending machines as there is limited options after 7 pm! I prefer full size pillows rather than the cubes on the bed! Staff is limited and so is their schedule. The staff is pleasant and willing to carry a conversation with you. Oh the HOT water is very HOT!!

Very pleasant stay.There is not specific parking for the hotel. As it turns out, the area seemed very safe, but still hated leaving my car at on street location. Also there's a coffee maker but no coffer; however there is nice coffee at coffee shop in lobby. Was a really good experience.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Pawhuska, right across the street from The Pioneer Woman Mercantile! The room was fantastic! Very large and roomy. The bed was extremely comfortable, nice, and soft! The only negative thing was the hotel has no vending machines! No drink machines or snack machines on the property. -Our booking said that we would receive 2 complimentary beverages during our stay, but we did not. When we asked the front desk about it, they had no idea what we were talking about. This was suppose to be a perk of being a silver member. So that was a little disappointing.

There to see the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile. Hotel is right across the street. Was disappointed to learn that it doesn’t have parking, as advertised. Was instructed to “park in the police parking lot or use the Merc parking. Our room was not my fave of the choices (decor-wise), but it was clean and comfortable.

Love the western vibe of the town. Parking lot for vehicles was a couple blocks from the hotel but able to load/unload vehicle at hotel.

Great historic hotel. There's nothing they can do about the street mess around the property. Due to massive road construction, the hotel parking is difficult and the ripped up roads make the process anything but convenient. However, this is not the fault of the hotel. When the road construction and parking nightmare is solved, this will be an outstanding property in every way.

The hotel was beautiful and very unique. Rooms were roomy and large. Lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance around the hotel. Parking is on street. Only downfall is there is so much construction going on all around the property blocking off the main street, outside area and sidewalks.

The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants (especially if you’re interested in the pioneer woman businesses). Parking wasn’t as convenient, not a huge problem, however . The old building isn’t at all soundproof and the room was pretty bright at night. Bring a pair of ear plugs and a sleep mask. Over all, we enjoyed it, though.

This property has so much potential, but it is unrealized. The lighting in the bathroom is inadequate and there is hardly any counter space. The kitchenette was huge, as was my room. It seems they could have made the bathrooms larger and kitchenette smaller. Loved that it had a kitchenette, though. And loved the stand-up shower. Obviously it was not designed as a business hotel, but there were not enough electrical outlets and nothing to directly plug in phones or computers. The front desk staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. However, I found housekeeping deficient. When I arrived, there were food containers left by the previous occupant stashed in the cabinets in the kitchenette. On a subsequent day, clean towels were left but no other housekeeping done--beds not made, bathroom sink not cleaned, etc. They did find my $5 tip on the bed though! The hotel is charming as was my room. There were windows all around and I got to watch a spectacular sunrise every morning. If you're going because of the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, which most people are, it's about a dozen steps away, just across the street. However, there's hardly any where else in town to eat. There's an abundance of history to take in. I would probably go again, now knowing exactly what to expect. But I would still find it overpriced.

Terrible experience. Found dried blood on pillow case and sheet. The shower head dripped all night. The check in lady was at first rude. After checkout they claimed i kept key to room. I didnt. They charged me $40 to replace the key Would not recommend.

Beds very comfortable. Room was SUPER clean. We enjoyed the large shower and the abundance of towels/washcloths/hand towels & the robes. Room was also cooled down by the time we arrived which made unpacking better. Would stay again.

Check in staff was very kind and helpful. Evening desk staff was amazing. Room was comfortable but did not appear to be very clean. We got ready for bed, turned the bed down and discovered blood on the sheets and on the mattress pad. Called the desk and Pam was very apologetic and insisted we get moved to a different room. She assured us our concern would be addressed with the manager and the next Morning it was. For the price of this room with no amenities and no parking, I would suggest staying elsewhere

This is an exceptional hotel! The photos in the listing are accurate, but in person it is stunning!! Renovated historic building with so many unique details still present and lovingly maintained. Beautiful art on every floor. Our room is ENORMOUS, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. We got here a day early so booked an extra night to add to our existing reservation and consider this “error” (on our part) a true blessing. Love, love, love this place. AMAZING hotel and wonderful staff.

Awesome location and clean. Unfortunately there are large gaps between the door to the room and the floor, allowing all the noise from the halls. Got woke up very early due to the noise. Barn door to the bathroom would not stay shut, so no privacy at all while using the toilet!

Classy, remodeled, elegant old fashioned hotel! Entryway, stairs, Christmas tree was stunning. Room was more exquisite than we had read about or imagined. We were in rm 405. Huge room. Beautifully decorated. Old doors with old fashioned keys. View of the Mercantile across the street. Triangle building on a triangle block on Main Street. Our room was the top point of the triangle with windows on both sides. We could see north, east and west. Beautiful blackout curtains so we could sleep.

The pillows on the bed are terrible. They were not tradition pillows, but cube-shaped and hard. It was impossible to get comfortable. We discovered the problem at bedtime and thought we could "get by" without contacting the front desk. MIstake. We should have asked for regular pillows. On the positive, the restoration of this once office building to boutique hotel is amazing. Our room was huge with eight double windows looking out three directions. Blackout curtains worked well at night. Love the themed decor. Color pallet is perfect.

Wi fi is unstable, I was kicked off several meetings because it wasn’t strong enough. We waited 30 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, even then we had to keep calling the cell phone listed . The phones did not work, no gym or even a treadmill . It’s a really nice room but you can’t work there and there is no one really available if you have questions.

From the moment we walked through the door, I knew this hotel was special. We received such a warm welcome and pretty much the choice of whatever room we wanted. We opted to go up and wound up with the most breathtaking room on the top floor. Everything was perfect… Comfortable bedding, beautiful views, and so much charm. Every time we passed the front desk, we were greeted and received recommendations on food joints and coffee shops. It was just the perfect anniversary stay, and we will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Frontier Hotel in Pawhuska far exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next trip so we can stay longer. The room was exceptional from cleanliness, luxery, comfort and view. Loved the plush towels and robes, such a great touch. Thank you Pam for all of the super information about the town, people and businesses. See you next time.

We were supposed to check in on Sunday. Not knowing the entire town shuts down on Sunday, no restaurants, stores, bars, nothing is open. We got to the hotel at noon, they said we could check in at 3. One place was open until 2 for lunch so we were able to get lunch. We go back to the hotel at 1:30 to see if we could watch the US Open in the lobby, no Tv. We had to sit in our car until 3. I think it’s terrible that the rooms are ready, but they won’t let you in early knowing there is absolutely no place to go on Sunday. We drove 10 hours to get there and this was the reception we got, wait in your car. We ended up leaving, losing our money for the night and going on with the rest of our trip. We will not be back. Hospitality would have been to let us in since literally nothing is open in the entire town on Sunday. Lesson learned

Great historic hotel. There's nothing they can do about the street mess around the property. Due to massive road construction, the hotel parking is difficult and the ripped up roads make the process anything but convenient. However, this is not the fault of the hotel. When the road construction and parking nightmare is solved, this will be an outstanding property in every way.

The hotel was beautiful and very unique. Rooms were roomy and large. Lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance around the hotel. Parking is on street. Only downfall is there is so much construction going on all around the property blocking off the main street, outside area and sidewalks.

I ended up staying here for four nights due to severe thunderstorms and a flight delay. It was a very comfortable hotel to stay at. not much to do in the town, but everybody is nice. I appreciated that when I checked in on Saturday night, they gave me a list of all the restaurants and which days they’re open/closed and their hours. Most places are closed on Sunday so it’s quickly able to order a pizza to eat the following day.

This is a restored historical building that kept some of its original features. It is also directly across the street from the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile. Parking is on the street and limited but was not a problem after 5:00 pm. It does not have a restaurant but is within walking distance to places to eat. Rooms are big with kitchenette . It is a good place to stay.

Our suite was beautiful, with large windows surrounding the entire space and views of all the local shops/restaurants. There was a butler's kitchenette, with coffee set-up and bottled water, along with an apartment-sized refrigerator, microwave, sink, and table for two. The bathroom was small but well stocked. King-sized bed was comfortable but a bit higher than i like. The only thing that would improve the experience would be an included continental breakfast and better parking options (basically park in a city lot a block away or luck out with street parking). Breakfast is available for $12 but we didn't try it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel with an historic feel and look. Definitely recommended!

My husband and I came for the night. We loved the hotel. Right across the street from the Pioneer Woman Mercantile. Bed felt good, everything was clean. No complaints. I did find it curious that there was a Keurig machine, but no K-cups. It might be nice to include a couple! Everything else was laid back and comfortable, and just a nice place to stay!

Very pleasant stay.There is not specific parking for the hotel. As it turns out, the area seemed very safe, but still hated leaving my car at on street location. Also there's a coffee maker but no coffer; however there is nice coffee at coffee shop in lobby. Was a really good experience.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Pawhuska, right across the street from The Pioneer Woman Mercantile! The room was fantastic! Very large and roomy. The bed was extremely comfortable, nice, and soft! The only negative thing was the hotel has no vending machines! No drink machines or snack machines on the property. -Our booking said that we would receive 2 complimentary beverages during our stay, but we did not. When we asked the front desk about it, they had no idea what we were talking about. This was suppose to be a perk of being a silver member. So that was a little disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Frontier Hotel, everyone was super friendly. It was within walking distance to the Mercantile which had delicious meals and plenty of shopping. We also enjoyed P-town Pizza. We visited The Lodge and Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve which were close by. I would definitely recommend the Frontier Hotel to anyone staying in Pawhuska, OK.

This is an interesting historical hotel to stay in. But what I really love is the location- right across the street from the Pioneer Woman mercantile, the P-town pizza place , Charlie’s Sweet Shop and small boutiques. You do have to park your car a block down the street. The decor is kind of a western theme. And our room was big with a high ceiling and 8 windows.

Don't even know where to start! It is such a charming place, it was beautiful and spacious. Very clean and has everything you could need. Only thing there is not an ice machine on every floor, only second which was fine for us but if you use a lot of ice might want to ask to stay on that floor. It is right in the middle of everything and we could walk everywhere. Our room was all windows(literally) and it was a beautiful site in the evening as well as waking up to the view in the morning. The staff was so sweet and very informative. The decor was beautiful! You could see the the history in the decor. The architecture of the building was kept but modernized with such beauty and class. I applaud the design team because they did a fantastic job.They do have a small cafe or coffee shop on the first floor but didn't seem operable. It was being used to do laundry for the hotel. We did see a menu for a restaurant by elevator but never enquired so don't know if room service could be ordered. The Mercantile and Pizza place are across the street and we had dinner and breakfast there. No options for late dining so take snacks or left overs. We did go on Monday and Tuesday. Nice little kitchen set up in ours.I definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again!

It was a chilly 68 when we walked into our room and we both melted into the bed! It was so nice to have somewhere cool to lay down after walking the streets in the heat! Bed was comfortable. The shower was a little small, but it served the purpose. Mas a mini fridge and microwave do would be great for longer stays also :)

The room was cool, quiet, and comfortable. We slept very well. I wish we could have stayed longer. Prime location for the Pioneer Woman's Restaurant. They do need to have some lamps with usb charging, however.
