We were happy to find the Motel 6 so close to our destination. The person at the front desk showed us the room before we booked it and accommodated the request for the ground floor. We were early and booked the room that had already been services so we checked in. The price was affordable, the staff was helpful and friendly, the Internet was good and the TV had all the news stations we wanted. The room had a small refrigerator and the common area had a microwave. We were there for two days with no complaints except our room card wouldn't work ( was told it was because it was in my pocket with my cell phone) but it was reprogrammed quickly.

Elevator was operational but far from clean. Room was average for the price, stains on pillow cases and burn marks on comforters. Roaches in bathroom, broken towel racks and heavily stained tub. Poor cleanliness, but staff did however help with complaints.

I stayed for four nights. This motel does not have a sign at its driveway. I initially passed the driveway and had to make a left turn down the road and find it by trial and error. The whole facility appears to be suffering from lack of maintenance. My room had two small bars of soap. No other toiletries were provided. The room was clean. The bed linens were clean. The shower had black mold in the creases where panels join. The water pressure in the shower was good. The toilet was continually running due to some problem with the flapper valve. I notified the front desk and was told it would be fixed the next day. When I left three days later, the toilet was still running. The furniture was scuffed and scratched. The bathroom door had a fist sized hole on one side. Clean towels were provided on the third day. The air conditioner ran at highest settings to make the room comfortable. I have bad hearing so the noise did not bother me. My room was on the top floor, level 3. The elevator was very slow to come to level I was at and very slow moving up and down. Denny’ and Waffle House are very close for breakfast.

We don't have high expectations when choosing a Motel 6, but this was very disappointing. At first glance we saw dings and scratches from lots of use, but so many it must have been years since anyone has noticed the walls. The electrical outlet by the mirror didn't work at all, so to use a hair dryer we had to move a nightstand and use that outlet. The ice machine was out of order, but we found one on another floor that worked. The bathtub had a dull coating that appeared to be ages of soap build-up. No tissues in the holder, under half remaining on the 2 rolls of tp, and the towels and washcloths were well past retirement age. The a/c was cold but wouldn't accept a Fan Only setting, and there was no blanket, only sheets and a thin bedspread, so we had to repeatedly get up to adjust the temperature. It wouldn't be a deal breaker if one or two of these issues were there, but all of them will make us think long and hard before trying Motel 6 again.

The room we stayed was quite spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. There were even 3 chairs. The clerk told us there would be a fridge and microwave in the room but we found only a fridge. Since we were staying only one night, we didn't bother to tell the clerk. The property is being renovated, according to the front desk. So we expected the messes in the hallway but didn't mind at all.

There was no signage to clearly mark the building so we would know we were at the right place. We had to force the door to our room open. The room smelled terrible and the toilet rocked. No closet. 3 thin pillows on a king bed for 2 people, no blanket - just a sheet and a sheet like cover over that. No real night stand, just a floor lamp with a round piece of glass around it that tipped when I set my phone on it. I wish we had a choice to leave and find another place.

The motel was very dirty, the carpets were horrible and the building was humid despite the air being on. The bed was a joke and the linens were dingy and old. This place should only be used if all hotels in St. Louis were booked. Steer clear of this place.

Outside and lobby looked well-put together. The room was another story. We waled in and the window was open, AC was off. Room smelled like a wet dog. There were bugs on the bed and a blood stain on one of the pillows. The bathroom door framing was falling off and the bathtub had so much mold. Through the night, the AC made a huge puddle of water on the floor that ran across the length of the room. There was a large dog that barked non-stop across the hall. Room 351 for reference. Will NEVER stay here again.

Cleaning rag left on vanity top. Trash all around exterior. Garbage receptacles over flowing. Hall carpet looks dirty. Employee was spraying air freshener on carpeting to make things smell better. I have stayed in many Motel 6 but was the worst. The luggage cart had a carpet on it and it was filthy.

This hotel is very dirty and smells terrible. The floor in the room was dirty. Tub land shower needed repair but was functional. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cool with a.c. on. I wouldn’t stay here again and I had booked the room for two nights, but didn’t return the second night.

I'll start off by saying that they have a sign stating they can come in to your room basically any time they want. The hallways are dirty, the bed linens look like they are from the 70's. Not worth the money they charge, should be cheaper.

The staff was very polite and the lobby was clean. There was an awful smell in the elevator and the hallways smelled like dirty gym socks. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was at the end of the hall and it was noisy from what sounded like a high-pitch sound from water pipes.

They are remodeling and everything is in upheavel which is okay but don't book guests in rooms where the cove base is off the wall and there is paint splatter in the bath tub (should have been cleaned/removed). I had to ask the front desk for shampoo because there wasn't any in our room. The pillows were thin as pancakes. The back of our bathroom door was peeling.

Well, for starters when we arrived the police were there, not sure why, but not always a good sign. Checked in just fine. Given a room on the 3rd floor, no big deal. Kinda expect that when checking in at 1:30am. BUT our room was right next door to the elevator! Like our wall was the elevator shaft. Needless to say I didn’t sleep AT ALL that night. Oh and let’s not forget the extreme weed smell that hit us in the face when we got off the elevator…..thought it was a nonsmoking hotel????? Either the guests need to do better or the hotel needs to do better, bc there’s nothing worse then thinking you’re in a nonsmoking hotel and be overwhelmed with that stench.

Bathtub had large rust spots as well as being dirty, blankets were as thin as sheets, needle plunger in the windowsill, people arguing and screaming in the parking lot. There was also no breakfast for guests, which is fine but inconvenient. Went to front desk for help and nobody was there. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again

they kept my deposit after saying they would refund it, i left my room clean, i didnt have amy towels or blankets i had to ask for them and i still did receive any they told me they didnt have time to wash any, my room was not cleaned from the previous guest, i was told the staff left for the say and finished half way, i couldn’t get a refund so i had no choice to stay

Our front desk associate was amazing she checked us in very quick. The room was very spacious,she also made sure our room was ok when she saw us again. The only downside was the bed was pretty hard but I think it was because it was new Another employee thanked us as we left. Very sweet staff.

i didnt have any blankets in my room and the room wasn’t finished being cleaned and they still gave me the room like that i requested another room was told nothing was available and being that i had already checked in i couldn’t cancel or request a refund, i didn’t have any blankets or towels there was debris on the floor idk what it was the bathroom wasn’t cleaned as well when i went to speak to the front desk they ignored me they walked to the back and didnt come back out to speak with me to resolve the issue, someone please help me..

I needed a motel to stay at, while my husband was in the hospital, for a few days. This was the closest and most affordable. I just wanted a place to sleep and shower. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet even though it was right beside the interstate. I slept very well during my 2 night stay. It's in a fairly, decent neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping. I was happy with my choice.

We were surprised that this motel was in such a hard to access area; no dog walk or potty area, looked like a rough crowd hanging around. We had no problems with our vehicle or our safety; so it was maybe just our own discomfort.

The customer service was fine the people were nice to me but everything else was terrible. The overall condition of the hotel was terrible. Very rundown. Looking at one point I thought I was going to be robbed in the parking lot I was sitting quietly in my car after returning to the hotel and a man approached my car then froze when he saw me inside, did about face and walked to the other end of the parking lot where he continue to observe other people coming and going. Very sketchy environment. I did not feel safe at all. I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel but it would be an upgrade from homelessness.

This was a horrible stay. The room smelt bad, paint peeling off the wall in spots, people out front looked homeless. People backed into the parking spot in front of our window and would let their truck idle and exhaust came thru our ac vents and would run the truck all hours of the night after my husband complained and ask nicely to stop. Will never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone.

The hotel was basic. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room no coffee in the room the blankets were like tissue paper. It was not even a blanket it was like I don’t know what it was the bedroom uncomfortable the hotel, for the most part was OK. It was just a basic hotel for $87. It’s not worth it.

reading the reviews on this place after i had gotten a room for 3 days spooked me pretty well, and i had low expectations, but for $75 a night it gave me everything i could’ve asked for. clean sheets and towels, i saw no bugs, and good vending machine options. front desk guy was nice and friendly, we didn’t come across a problem throughout the stay. i recommend if you need to be budget friendly.
