Motel 6-Maryland Heights, MO

I booked online and paid online. When i arrived to check in the lady said I had to pay a 50 dollar deposit also. Now why didn't they put that in my bill when I booked online? Thank god I had the 50 extra on my card to be able to cover it. Communication with the staff is hard as they have big foreign accents. So then i get my keys and go to leave and i hear the person behind me tell the staff their air wasn't working in their room. I was like in my head saying to myself I sure hope mine works cause I was hot and ready to cool down and relax. So I get my stuff out my car and head to the room. Well it was hot as hell and no air on nothing. So I go turn the air on and it kicks on and I was like hell yeah mine works. Well it shut off like not too long after like maybe an hour later. It wouldn't turn back on. Only thing that worked was the fan only. Well it was better than nothing but still not the coldest. Woke up hot and sweating so I go to take a cool shower and the the water pressure was crap. Oh and the towel rack was rigged up and so I went to get a towel to dry off and the rack fell to the floor. Well you can see it was rigged. Like it could be a really nice place if they kept up on their updates. I've stayed here in the past and even though I didnt have the best experience but it was the best out of the times I have stayed there. Also I forgot the parking is crap. All spots were filled but the 6 handicaps. So I had to park and walk just thought I'd throw that out there too.

Clean room, staff was helpful, parking was adequate, bed was comfortable

I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very nice.

It's easy access on off the property to interstate 270, and one exit down from I -70 near the airport. 5 minutes from the convention center in Saint Charles. Staff is very warm and friendly. Rooms are simple, no frills, but clean.

Very dusty. Beds are very very broken down. Hot water and a decently safe place on a budget if you like the smell of pot!
