We experienced several negative situations during our stay: HVAC problems throughout. The room either too warm or cold. The thermostat did not function properly. The mini refrigerator had been turned off resulting in water from defrosted ice spilling out to the carpeting. Breakfast was just bad. Lastly, what was referred to a Fitness center was no more than a storage closet with minimal equipment in poor repair. Overall, this hotel is old and greatly overpriced.

Nice older hotel, comfortable room with quallty furniture, etc. Disappointing that the “exercise room” was closed for renovations 3 of the 4 nights of my stay. Marginal breakfast, out of bagels one of the days! Friendly staff.

Very nice hotel. Weird pillows though. They advertise a gym, but it’s more like a closet with a treadmill and elliptical trainer. Breakfast was very good for a free buffet style.

Pleasant good value hotel in nice village. Although decor was nice, curtains in room were very dirty and drawer in chest of drawers was broken. Although food in restaurant was fine and service pleasant, the room itself suffered from lack of natural light.

Our stay was wonderful. We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, bed and sheets were clean. We were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is my was dinged in the parking garage. ( I can’t proof that it was them, but it couldn’t have happened anyway else). But I did have a very pleasant stay here. And breakfast was very good also.

Upon arrival, after flying across the country to be there, it took us 20 minutes to find the check in person. they were in the bathroom. upon entering our first room, we went to set our luggage down and settle in, some to find poop all over the toilet in the bathroom. The second room had a balcony door that wouldn't shut, so the winter breeze made the room freezing. the 3rd room we tried only had one bed and we needed 2. the fourth room had hair on the sheets, the 5 t room was fine until day 3 and the heat went out in the middle of the night. mind you it was February and freezing. They brought us a space heater 4 hours later that didn't work. we ended up checking out and going to the hotel down the street that wasn't much better but it was warm and the staff was MUCH friendlier at the Andrew, so we overlooked the uncleanliness as we didn't really have many other options.

Stay away! The lobby furniture was filthy! The room was awful. There was a centipede on the wall next to the bed as soon as we walked in. There was a spider in the bathtub as well. Our view was next to the train tracks and there was a small roof next to our windows that was filled with weeds and dirt. The toilet handle was broken, and the toilet paper holder was coming off of the wall. People that we were staying with at the hotel said that the bathtub filled up to their ankles when they were showering. We were with people who had two other rooms and we all concur that the place was absolutely filthy. The other two couples ended up staying and had breakfast this morning reporting that not only was the food awful but there was lipstick on one of the water glasses and the silverware was dirty. We ended up leaving last night to go back to Massachusetts and didn’t even stay because it was so disgusting. Absolutely zero stars and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have here many times. The staff is always wonderful. However, this time, the room fell short. The internet barely worked; the guide on the TV did not work, and the picture continually pixelated; the light on the magnifying mirror did not work; they did not give us 4 towels or even a bath mat. While these are not big things, taken together, it damaged the image. No, it’s not the 4 Seasons, but it’s not the Travelodge either, I have come to expect much better, so this disappointing.

Dated and not fully clean (found a long hair when in checked in. Bathroom faucet wasn’t great. Water pressure was weak throughout my stay. The real down side is my room faces the LIRR tracks which was noisy and annoying at various hours. Can’t justify staying there again other than purely for location.

The guy who checked me in on the night of July 24th 2025 was very rude with an unwelcoming attitude. He needs to work on his attitude since he’s dealing with customers. Otherwise everyone else was great. 1 star for this employee only because he checked me in.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk staff at this hotel, Eric. My flight was delayed by a day, and all nearby airport hotels were fully booked. This hotel was the closest one with available rooms, so I booked through a third-party platform and received a confirmation email. To ensure the room was indeed available before heading there, I called the hotel. Eric, the front desk attendant, was extremely aggressive and rude. He yelled at me, questioning why I booked through a third party instead of calling the hotel directly. His exact words were, "Why did you book through a third party when you could have called the hotel directly? It\'s already 3 AM!" This interaction highlighted Eric\'s unprofessional behavior and lack of proper customer service training. It was a disappointing experience, especially during an already stressful situation.

I won't comment on the property as I was unable to get checked in to see a room. They may be nice, I dont know. What I do know is that bait and switch with an Expedia reservation speaks to an untrustworthy organization. Only upon arrival I was told my reservation was received but was "wait listed" without any further explanation. I then was offered to book a new reservation (at a higher price). Expedia canceled the reservation but I was left without a hotel in NY at midnight upon arrival rather than be scammed. Bottom line is the Inn at Great Neck has irreparably lost my trust, and I'd warn no one else to trust them either lest they jeopardize their time and money on visiting NY.

We have been staying at this hotel since 2012. It's a great place to stay. They now have a buffet breakfast that is much better than almost any other buffet breakfast that I have encountered during my years of traveling. Fresh made muffins and croissants, and fresh fruit make it an enjoyable start to the day. Hot coffee and tea are always available in the lobby. The staff always has a friendly smile and great attitude. Before we make plans to visit the New York/Long Island area, we always check reservations/availability here, before booking the airline. If you can't stay here, there is nowhere else I want to be. We will be back.

Expedia says check in is at 3:00. One room not ready til 4:00. Man at desk not helpful, disinterested, acted like he didn\'t want to be there. Asked the "valet," a kid maybe 18, which way to go for Middle Neck Road. He had no clue. Turned out the road was maybe 50 feet away. Maid walked in to my room while I was changing.

Lovely hotel in the Great neck village, steps again from the LIRR station and 40 mins ride to Penn Station. Hotel next to shops and restaurants. Charming and upper-scale village. Hotel interior and rooms after a 1930s Great Gatsby-style decor. All in all a 5/5 stay.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Great Neck station (on the Long Island Railroad), so it was convenient for getting in to Manhattan (either Penn station or Grand Central). Bedroom very spacious and comfortable. Coffee machine in the room. There is also 24 hours urns with hot water and cold water, with coffee and tea. Breakfast was included for free Mon-Fri, though it was fairly basic. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, bagels, cereal, muffins, juice.

This is a great option when you have an event at UNS Arena. Valet and front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and spacious, and the bad was sooo comfortable. Within walking distance of the train station and different shops and restaurants. Morning breakfast was excellent with different choices.

Front desk & valet were great. Very polite. Was disappointed that the restaurant took more than 30 miutes to send our food up with the robot. Otherwise they made my birthday weekend great.
