Everything about the hotel was great. The waitress in the lounge was exceptional. We only have one complaint… The shuttle service to and from the airport. Unfortunately we arrived late as both flights we had that day were late. The shuttle was done for the day, but we were told to take a “ride” taxi from the airport and they would have a voucher for him. Once we were in the cab, we relayed the message to him, whereupon he started driving faster and a bit recklessly. He said this will be a free ride for you then, because they are so slow at the hotel, and don’t know what they are doing. It takes forever to get a voucher. It’s not worth it. So when we got to the hotel, he quickly exited the cab and got our luggage out of the car, and literally threw it on the ground, like you might throw out a bad tenant! I was dumbfounded! He got back in the car and sped off before I could even think to take down the number of the cab. It was the darker coloured cab at about 1:30 am the early morning of Oct 12. I never felt so disrespected in my life! I would have given him a tip if he had waited two seconds, and probably said thank you, even though he was a complete jerk, and didn’t deserve either. I would not have done either after he threw the luggage on the ground. I hope my pricy CPap equipment isn’t damaged, or our 2 sets of binoculars. If so, “ride” will be hearing from me! Unbelievable way for a grown man to act. I hope this gets addressed with “ride” management. Improvement needed.

Room was clean, but could use some repairs and updates. Holes in walls with plaster filled, and the sofa bed had holes ripped in it. Cable television worked off and on. You will need to love FIRM beds and soft pillows to enjoy sleeping here. I found it terribly hard on my back and neck. There was a lot of noise coming from the exhaust damper on the range hood that also made it hard to sleep. I will say the breakfast was very good, and the pool/hot tub were clean and well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful

Great breakfast and overall excellent experience.
