Royce Hotel & Casino

The property is old they have a new hotel but it’s double the price. So they still rent the old rooms for more than 5000 pesos which is high for the condition of the rooms

This review is for the Royce Hotel & Casino "older" tower. There is a newer tower of the hotel that is parallel to the old hotel. At the time of booking, I did not know that I had booked a room at the older tower. The room was outdated, but clean enough if you're looking for a quick stay & aren't expecting the Four Seasons or say even a Marriott. We only stayed for one evening and it did the job. We had a terrible check-in experience, there were two female agents at the front desk. The one agent made up for it though with her customer service skills, the other one who greeted us upon check - in was rude and had a connotated notion. She made a comment and said " FOR TWO BEDS?" We're an interracial couple, why in the world would we need two beds when our reservation specifically was booked for ONE. After we told her no and to look at our reservation she did not speak after that, the other agent took over and completed our check-in. The location is convenient food wise, there are restaurants across the street, or you can also dine at the hotel or request for room service. It is also near Clark Intl. Airport, it was a 15-20 min ride. If you require transportation to the hotel, you can reach out to them ahead of time (upon booking) & let them know. We checked out the casino for fun. There were slot machines and tables ( at least what we saw). Overall, I would rate the hotel a 3.9/5. For the price that we paid for a room, I had higher expectations, not a motel like room.

Property has great potential, mall portion under construction but food choices are good. Safe easy to get to the airport and has a nice pool or relax area if u dont want to get ur feet wet.

No smoking but smells weed

Over all service is excellent from the front desk up to the parking attendant. Buffets are in par with Las Vegas where we go once or twice a month. We have a vacation house in Vegas that’s why we go there frequently.

I was arriving late from Korea. Checked my husband in at Royce since it’s close to Clark, so he can pick me up. We stayed one night in the new area of Royce. I was impressed how our room was comparable to some US hotels. Also, parking was free & easy. Was not able to try the Casino & pool. Breakfast buffet was good.

Checking out takes too much time. Hallway is dirty and smells.

The best was the friendly and helpful service of all the staff And the Breakfast Buffet every morning. The only negative was mold starting to grow in shower.

Rooms is clean and spacious but with musty smell,upon entertaining theres a poopy smell eventhough no one use the washroom.. also water leaks out the shower area when you are taking a bath

The bathroom is full of mildew and the shower door does not close right, flooding the outside of the bathroom. They called engineering (maintenance) and they cannot fixed it completely. Their solution they gave me extra towels to wipe outside when the water pours out. I was not aware that there was an old and new building but regardless it should be cleaned properly. If I knew that was the condition of the place I should have just stayed at my own house. It was grossed, especially they called themselves the #1 hotel in the area.

The breakfast buffet however was very sumptuous and the variety was great. Again staff was very professional and service was quick.

We like the accessibility and location Although it ddnt meet our expectations as one of the expensive hotels in clark. We had to asked to change the bedsheet coz it had stain, we had to call for toilet tissues coz no back and the quality was not good very thin, servers from breakfast were slow even if theres more staffs and we had to asked a server to changed the knives and cups from a used table. Need to improve training especially regarding sanitation and cross contamination. Ac from our room was noisy like rain dtops to a tin roof. Bathroom not pleasant odor and with some mold on the caulking. It was an okay stay. Hope theyll improve.

Property needs renovation. Rooms needs better cleaning ceiling has a lot of spider webs.

I can hear the babies laughing and crying in the next room. I think we should pay attention to soundproofing in your hotel.

The only drawback about my stay here is the lousy internet services they provided. It's connected but no internet, why is that. As rated 4-star hotel in Clark, the IT personnel should service their internet protocol in all rooms after it is vacated insuring full service as noted in your check in. Not a good thing to all travelers to know about your poor internet services.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. The room condition and the internet reliability have definitely a lot of potential to be improved.

Nice Hotel but i think the old building should be renovated. A little old and dated.. but over all its still pleasant. Staff are cordial and friendly!

The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, easily accessible to transportation, room very clean, staff so kind and helpful including the securities, and the food superb!! Highly recommended!

The only thing that keeps me from giving an excellent rating in a area or two is the service in the casino restaurant. Plenty of works little customers and it still took over 30 minutes to get our orders and they were not served at the sametime sometime over 15 minutes before my spouse would get her food. This seemed to be common even at the resort we stated in as well. Unlike in the states.

The staff always went above and beyond. I will always stay here visiting Mabalacat.

I didn't like that after I checked out they sent a cleaning lady to the room and she reported that a wash cloth was missing and they charged it to my credit card...

Nice customer service reps!

Not happy with our stay in this hotel. The staff at the checkout counter was very rude. She made us wait for nothing when we were checking out. She told us to wait for a few minutes then entertain another couple who were also checking out. We waited for a few minutes then approached her if we are good to go and she said yes. Don’t understand why she made us wait for nothing but entertained another couple.

Staff at the counter/front desk. They were not helpful with flexibility options. Not able to provide proper and clear guidance. Other staff ( bellboy, housekeeping and restaurant crew) were ok.

Accesibility to some restaurants

Excellent place to stay for a short or long vacation the staff are very friendly, food was great the restaurant where we eat for breakfast was super clean. Very near to Clark International Airport no traffic I will recommend this hotel to all travelers who want to have a wonderful and safe place to stay in Angeles Pampanga Philippines

Over priced buffet not well train staff food is cold!

I recently stayed at Royce hotel with my family, and overall, we enjoyed our visit. The staff were courteous, the facilities were clean, and the location was very convenient. However, I would like to share feedback regarding the breakfast pricing policy. During our stay, my 8-year-old daughter was charged the full adult breakfast price. I was surprised by this, as many hotels typically offer a reduced rate for children or complimentary breakfast for younger guests. While I understand each property has its own policy, this is a nickel and dime approach to customers. It’s very low standard for a new I recently stayed at your hotel from [dates of stay] with my family, and overall, we enjoyed our visit. The staff were courteous, the facilities were clean, and the location was very convenient. However, I would like to share feedback regarding the breakfast pricing policy. During our stay, my 8-year-old daughter was charged the full adult breakfast price. I was surprised by this, as many hotels typically offer a reduced rate for children or complimentary breakfast for younger guests. Good breakfast

The bed was comfortable, we slept straight till morning. The breakfast buffet was enormous and the breakfast room is like fine dining!
