Arrowhead Lake Inn

The "Romantic" room #4 was great! Like a converted attic with a little balcony to sit on with a table & 2 chairs over looking Lake Arrowhead. Parking was VERY limited, it appeared, due to remaining snow from the recent SEVERE snow storms in the area. Had to park 2 properties away and walk. Deceptive room name as it had what looked like a King size bed and 2 twin beds in the suite.

Delightful room. Wonderful staff. Would have been helpful to know in advance about the stairs and parking. Thanks for a great stay.

It was a wonderful stay in a delightfully quaint little Inn. Surrounded by a very picturesque area of Arrowhead Lake. The employee that helped us, was super nice. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a great mountain get away. Also very close to lots of little shops and restaurants in nearby Arrowhead Lake Village. Walking distance. Nothing like waking up with a fresh cup of coffee and snacks already prepared in the lobby and the view of the lake while you sit on the front patio.

The hotel is very well located, right next to the city center. What sets it apart is that it’s the only hotel we’ve found offering unlimited complimentary drinking water bottles, sodas, tea, coffee, fruit, snacks, and confectionery available 24/7. Breakfast is continental and satisfying. Our room was spotless, with high-quality linen and all the necessary amenities. The only drawback was that, due to the unusual shape of the room, the heating/air-conditioning was provided by a portable unit, which was a bit noisy. That was the only blemish in an otherwise excellent stay. The lady managing the hotel was extremely hospitable, and parking was conveniently located right next to the rooms. The lounge patio also offers a beautiful view of the lake, making it a perfect spot to relax

The property was nice but to get to Lake Arrowhead you had to cross a fairly busy winding highway. If l had known that l would have picked a place on the same side as the lake.

Such a beautiful and cozy Inn yo stay at. The host is really friendly and they have 24/7 continental breakfast. In the main lobby they have a cozy fireplace where you can watch dvd’s.

Im not one to ever leave bad reviews. I showed up for check in with my kids and wife and weather was about forty degrees and room heaters did not function or furnace neither. I mentioned this to the front desk lady who was very helpful and nice but had no solution for us so I had to pack my things and leave 1 hr after arrival and drive back home since my kids were freezing in room. I booked through expedia and expedia reached out to them to provide refund and they denied it. If you cant provide heating you should not deny refund period. Parking was terrible and limited as well. Dont stay here during winter unless you want to freeze.

We had such a lovely stay at Arrowhead Lake Inn. Gayle checked us in and was so warm and hospitable. The lobby had snacks and breakfast/coffee that was available 24/7, which was so nice. The location is great! While it's not the most pedestrian-friendly (no sidewalks), we were a short walk to the Lake Arrowhead Village, which was a very nice perk with parking being so hard to find there. You get a pretty view of the lake to enjoy while having your morning coffee. We had our small dog with us and while the room was a little tight for all of us, it was really nice to find a dog-friendly place to stay in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience here. I was nervous at first due to it being an older building and I wasn’t sure there was air conditioning as we were on our motorcycles and air was imperative. We were pleasantly surprised and met with a blast of cold air. Check in was easy and there were nice touches throughout the room such as an espresso maker. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. There were free snacks and beverages in the lobby. The hospitality was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. I would not recommend this property to anyone who has any issues climbing stairs or mobility issues.

The staff was very attentive to our needs and the breakfast amenities were great. The views of the lake from the patio perfect.

We did not stay. When we entered the room and checked the bedding it was stained and unclean. I was not comfortable looking at other rooms, as I felt with the condition it was in, other rooms would be the same. We canceled our stay with the woman who was checking us in. The exterior stairway to our room also felt unsafe. In the description of the hotel there is no information I could find that addresses the number of stairs involved, and the stairway to room we were to stay in, felt unsafe.

Room and bathroom in good condition. However, the floors were dirty and I had to clean with a towel and it was black. Lobby fire place should have been on, especially in the morning. The most disappointing part of our stay was definitely the free continental breakfast. The snacks provided were appreciated. We brought our own breakfast so, all we wanted was a hot cup of coffee. When we got to the lobby, no coffee was made so we attempted to brew our own but we gave up because the filter had old grounds in it and the pot was filthy. The floor was also unswept and dirty. The only plus were the choice of bagels and toast, but by then we didn’t want it. This was at 7:30 am. No reason for there to not be a pot of coffee or at coffee pods. Very disappointing. We felt like once your establishment got our payment, it was done with us due to the breakfast experience that is supposed to feel warm and inviting, and this was anything but. We will think twice about returning.

Clean quiet room

The location is amazing! The access to the room and property was simple and easy. There are just simple fixes that could have made it so much better. First off, cleanliness. Dust. Dirty toilet. Clogged sink. Mold on shower curtain. Cobwebs all leave a bad impression. Second, linens. The bed sheets didn't match. The towels too. Not super important but makes an impression. Lastly, quality. The soap was a used bar soap. The toilet leaked so made noise all night long. The coffee was the cheapest (folgers), even in the lobby, with powdered creamer. The "breakfast" was oatmeal packets, packaged muffins and old tangerines. I'm usually not one to leave a bad review, but I feel like it has so much potential. The little things can make it so much more enjoyable and welcoming.

Small room than expected, no fireplace in the room, weird smell in room and lobby, small old heaters took forever to work, bathroom wasn’t very clean and soap/shampoo were empty. Would I stay here again for that price? Noo

Dusty floor and toilet has stain

All was clean and well kept.

The property doesn’t live up to the pictures posted online. The room was extremely small and there is mo central air conditioning or heating. They do provide a big ac/ heating unit. The breakfast included is a joke. There’s nothing fresh or hot, store bought chips and muffins. Overall it’s pretty average. It was clean and quiet and closer to the lake.

Heater was not working well. Set at 85 degrees but actual temp stuck at around 60 degrees. Other than this problem, all else was good.

The a/c has a plugged or blocked hot air exit, and it fails to operate properly.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. However, I could hear everything happening in the room next door. From foot steps to shower being used. The bed is not comfortable. It’s convenient to the village Which is a huge plus.

the first room was cold and everything felt old and dingy. the heater did not work and when we plugged in the phone charger it blew the fuse box and all the lights went out. so they moved us to a new room that felt nice and updated and clean. so it all worked out . but I would not of been happy in the first room at all.

The rooms were very small.

Cute room. Easy check-in. It was late October and when we entered the room it was very cold. There is a small unit attached to a hose and it took a while to heat up the room. We found another heater in the wardrobe which helped aa well. Just be patient and the heaters will take the chill away.

Liked the quietness at night, like standstill in time! Didn't like all the noise coming from other rooms in the morning! You could hear every step, every flush!

Very clean. Room was small but dated. Floral comforters and curtains. Manager on property was very nice and helpful. We would stay again.

This inn is next to the lake, 2 minutes walk away, which is very convenient. The heater works very well. But it is a bit noisy at night since u could hear all ur neighbors walking around. And my room shower water is not hot at all.

Amenities lacking. Snacks and coffee depleted and in room kitchenette very limited. No one in office. Air conditioning unit not working properly and came out of the wall. Very disappointing since our last stay a couple years ago. Will not be back.

I We arrived on a Friday with a note on the door to check in with a phone number for check in details. I called over 10 times with no answer. I rang the ring doorbell 3 times and finally received a response that my key was in my room. The next morning I realized we had minimal toilet paper with no extra roles under the sink. I called the phone number given to contact the front desk at 8 am and left a message. I came home from adventures around 3pm no toilet paper and another guest trying to check in with no response from the front desk number. Go figure, this experience sounds familiar. I call again and leave a message. I then go to dinner. Come back to no toilet paper again. I had to go buy some at this point. I wake up on the day I check out and my car alarm went off. To my surprise I see the front desk lady walk out of her room (I am completely shocked that she lives onsite). She ask if anything is wrong. No response to any of my calls but when she is woken up she decides to show her face. Wow, that was a slap in the face. We loved our room. We loved the snack bar. We loved the location and price. In regards to service, you won’t get any. Enjoy your stay!

No one in office, very small basement room major pothole in entrance drive/road, blind exit road, breakfast provided was prepackged pastries and pudding cups (yuck) charged for 5 nights while only there 2 nights. Would not recommend to anyone

This place is a hidden jewel, and what made it truly exceptional was Gayle. She is amazing—so kind, efficient, and personable. If you’re going to Lake Arrowhead, I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for 2 nights at Arrowhead Lake Inn on July 4th weekend. The view of the lake was beautiful and the patio had lots of tables and chairs to enjoy the view while having a meal. Gail, the manager was very accommodating and provided a nice 4th of July party with snacks to view amazing fireworks on the lake. Our room was quaint and comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice and served all morning as well as snacks and waters and drinks. We enjoyed that the Inn was within walking distance of The Village and lake that had a lot of great restaurants to choose from. We truly enjoyed our stay in Arrowhead.

Arrowhead Lake Inn To begin with, I realize that in today’s standards $250.00 a night is an average cost for a hotel room (or bed and breakfast) especially around the Christmas holiday. That being said, one still expects a certain level of cleanliness and organization. We arrived exactly at the check-in time of the Arrowhead Lake Inn. I opened the door to the lobby only to find an elderly man fully asleep on the sofa, and he was snoring. There was nobody at the desk, and so I waited for a few minutes because I saw a security camera and figured that someone would show up since it was check in time. After about 10 minutes of nothing happening, I went back outside where my mother was waiting with her dog. After another ten minutes I went back inside to the same situation as earlier. I woke the older man up thinking maybe he was the owner, and he told me he wasn’t, but told me that I should look in one the rooms where the woman in charge might be cleaning. I found her and she followed me back to the lobby only to figure out that the room for us was not cleaned yet. She told us to walk around a bit until she could clean it. She reassured us that she would be quick and it would be cleaned well. After almost an hour she announced that the room was ready. From the first look at the room it looked acceptable enough, but upon closer inspection, we could tell that she didn’t clean it very well. The floor felt like she might have swept it at best. Check in was easy. Super friendly. She took us to our room. She told us the easiest way to get to the village. Showed us where to park. Will definitely stay again when visiting Lake Arrowhead

This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The customer service was rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. The room was filthy the sheets and towels were clearly used and not washed. It was disgusting and unacceptable. They claimed that breakfast was included, but what they provided was a complete joke: just chips and popcorn. No coffee, no hot water, no milk absolutely nothing resembling a real breakfast. It felt like a scam. This place is dirty, dishonest, and badly managed. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel it’s a waste of money and a complete disappointment.

Great Inn. Great room. Excellent location - right near Lake Arrowhead village.

The room and accommodations were fine. I wish that someone would have set up the breakfast bar before 7am. It was dirty from the night before, there was no coffee brewing, the room was cold, there were no clean coffee cups or dishes and the fireplace was not on. I had to make the coffee and put the heat on. The room is nice and great views from the patio. Scott

Arrowhead Lake Inn is located in prime location right behind Stater Brother's Supermarket in Lake Arrowhead Village. The place is well-kept and very clean with rustic feel. The front desk lady greeted us with such pleasantry we felt welcomed. The room was very clean with well-stocked towels. Small fridge and microwave oven were provided in the room. The Inn provided very generous continental breakfast with variety of baked goods, water, soda, coffee, and tea, all complimentary for the guests. My wife and I tried bagel in the morning and it was very delicious. In front of the entrance, there are plenty of seating area to relax with the beautiful view of Arrowhead Lake. It was a very pleasant stay.

The room was well laid out with adequate furnishings. However, the air conditioning did not work, the windows did not open, and the fan provided was insufficient. The breakfast selections were very limited and some of the bread offerings were moldy.

We really enjoyed the place. It felt like having the whole place to ourselves. The 24 hour breakfast was fantastic too. We ended up eating popcorn, drinking hot cocoa, while watching a movie in our room.
